Hi, I joined chaturbate a few years ago now. I was inactive for over a year due to personal reasons. Since I have come back, I have a new legal name. My original payout method had expired, so I set one up with my new passport (new legal name). I tried to cash out and it got returned to my cb account, because my name did not match. I have contacted support 3 times and had no reply. I accidentally tried to cash out a second time whilst I was trying to figure out a way to rectify this issue. I have not had this second amount returned to my account yet, and support are not responding to me about my request to show them my ID to prove that I am ME, just with a different name. It’s causing me great distress. Username is Kinky_kat666. I’d really appreciate some help. I do not know how I can show them my new ID without them responding, or how I can receive the money I have earned

Hi, their reply was a bit nonsensical. They suggested that I add myself as a guest performer on my own account I don’t think they understood? I replied showing all of my identification to prove I have simply changed my name. I’ve had no reply, and by now I sincerely feel like they have stolen my money so I might have to seek legal advice. Can you advise when they might rectify this issue? I just want it sorting, I am not using the site until they sort it out and actually pay me the money I earned. Thanks for trying to help.

I think they gave you the correct response. Add yourself as if you are another person, with your new ID that shows your new name. Then the payout details will match the name registered to broadcast on your account. Then they can send your payout.

Do what they say. If it doesn't work, then you'll think of doing something else.

Thanks to both who have replied. I will do that. It just seems quite silly considering I am one person and not two you’d think it would be simpler for them to just change my name on my account to avoid confusion but unfortunately they didn’t respond when I sent all proof via email….

I have done what they advised and it’s worked and I’ve received payout. Thanks so much for helping me. I just didn’t feel right about doing it because it seemed like a scammy thing to do, acting to be 2 different people if that makes sense? I’m from the uk I guess we just do things differently haha x

Yes, exactly—both the documents and the name must match. And as far as I know, that’s been the case for several years now.
