Are private shows just as easily stolen??

I've recently come across stolen content of mine on like 50 sites....It seems like most of them are recorded from public shows but I can't tell for sure.
(I am fully aware that this is a risk cam models have to take and that there is really know way to prevent this or have them 100% taken down.)

Does anyone know if we are safe from private shows being recorded/posted on other sites??

If the answer is no.....do you know of a site that is safe for this? not a cam site more like Skype or something??

anything that can be seen can be recorded, but it's not economical to pirate private shows compared to professionally produced porn (or even amateur clips), though something like a ticket show could be fair game

I use Chaturbate....I know Im at risk for the user recording the private, but is chaturbate selling my privates to affiliates? Or can bots somehow hack them??

As previously mentioned, there's no guarantee that privates (including Skype or other video interaction) won't be uploaded by someone. The stuff that is done in public is usually bots. Whereas if a private is uploaded it's by a member who did it with you. Some models have said they can recall who the private was with and ban them outright.

Sadly, comes with the territory. Even if it's with a person you know personally, they may do it out of spite or otherwise. Sometimes it's legitimately a leak from a hacked account, etc.

Seems like Skype or Google Duo would be a safer way to do privates (other than the possibility of the recipient recording it)
I also realize there is a risk of not getting paid at all if you use Skype (I would only do it with a few trusted regulars.)
And of course use a VPN to hide my location.

On that note, I would have no idea how much to charge for that. Same as my CB pvts price? The thing is....these guys usually tip throughout the pvts and wouldn't be able to do that with skype...

Disable the private show recording option in your model profile if you are worried about recordings. It's enabled by default.
After that the CB pvts are functionally the same as doing skype sessions and you get paid automatically.

I'm not familiar enough with it. But, SkyPrivate is a third party method of getting paid for Skypes. There's been quite a few mentions of it on ACF, so if you do a search might learn more about it.

I'm not sure what your per minute rate is, nor tipping during privates etiquette because I'm not overly familiar with CB as I'm on MFC. But, the models I know who do Skypes charge the same as, or more than, a TruePrivate which is 80 tokens per minute. This is because they have to stop the cam, switch over to Skype do thing there, monitor the time, etc. all while losing people in their room. If you think about it, it's also much more than an exclusive/TruePrivate. MFC doesn't allow a model to adjust her rates. It's either 60/min for spyable private or 80/min for TruePrivate (exclusive and not spyable).

If you're only planning to do offline sessions with regulars who tip during a show for extra things, it'd be worthwhile to come up with an equivalent pricing of what your average per minute is for those privates and then add some extra. Everyone is different. But, IMO, it'd be a lot easier to just charge a higher rate and not deal with tips during a private. The guarantee is what your per minute rate is, tips are just a bonus and not guaranteed. Also, if you're at a low rate where you charge extra for things during, if it's a regular who says they didn't get enough tokens when they ask to do something would you still do it or would you say no only to find they ran the private longer than normal?

Not really, I'd say they're about equal as bots can't do anything with a special access such as privates, groups, club shows as I understand it. Skype also has some issues with it in regards to potential ties to personal name, and I've read some posts where people might be able to track you by IP address if they're savvy enough. Though, can't confirm since I've never even wanted to look into it as it's not something I would consider doing.

TruePrivates are also known as Exclusive on Streamate and I think other sites have equivalent in some fashion.

This is my personal opinion, and it's ultimately your decision, but even your base rate on CB should be higher. I think CB token amount are similar to MFC. At 30 tokens a minute, you're making $15 for a ten minute private. I'm not sure of the price of a token a model gets on CB, so I figured on $0.05 to get the number. Whereas if you change 60, it's $30 and $40 if it's 80/minute. On MFC, a member can enable the cam so a model can watch. A person can leave Skype camera off, so they only watch you, same as on privates. But, if you do very well with a lower base rate and high amounts of tips during, then I can see a decision to leave it as it is on CB.

Also, some models refuse to do Skypes because members are always trying to drag it out longer than the agreed upon time. Whereas in cam site privates, when they're out of tokens the private is shut down. I read a few models just go tired of the hassle, and other things and just stated they only do privates. Eventually, if a model does well enough in her room during public show, she loses money if she does a private.

Again, your call on things. Just wanting to give some other ideas/data in case you hadn't thought or known of these

i will not tell here how , to not give ideeas to anyone but please keep in mind that every private , live show , skype show , even the vids that you have for sale its very very easy to record them . So none of the content that we produce its safe , thats the risk . We only can do our job and hope we are doing shows with genuie people that doesnt want to take advantage .

Everything visible on a computer screen can be recorded and distributed, unfortunately. It's up to you what you end up doing, but users recording something you don't want recorded - on any platform - will always be a risk.

Leave your private show price at 30 tokens per minute. It's a good price. The logic "make it more expensive and you earn more" is faulty. When you look at myfreecams, you will see there are barely girls in private show, because the price is so expensive.

And I understand it minimizing exposure to add security is your goal. You could consider disabling the "spy on private" function. Set it to zero to disable it. Spies are a main source of pirated private shows.

Skype shows are unnecessary for a chaturbate model. You can either disable spy on private or do a fixed price password show (=you sell a fixed amount of time for a fixed price, lock your room with a password and give this to the user so only he can enter your room).

i use the DMCA takedown website Rulta and its amazing. It analyzes your username every day to find copyright infringements (your videos/photos) and deletes them. If they cant delete them from the website, theyll delete if from the search result, so anyone searching your username wont find it. And i do think they remove from camwhores! cheers x

To answer your master post, it's trivial to record a private on CB. Doing that requires software that intercepts a stream running in a browser tab, and such software is commonplace now for recording Youtube, Netflix, etc.

There are two classes of recordings being made of most model shows. There are bots that record every public show you do and put those up on the usual suspect websites. And there are individual viewers who buy privates with you and make copies of those and upload to sites like Camwhores.

One way to fight the public recordings is to run a CB app that allows you to start "hidden shows" and put all of your most explicit flashes for tokens and explicit public shows into a hidden show. You have to think through and implement in the CB app a policy so that people who have been sending you tokens during the show automatically get added into hidden shows, otherwise you will create a lot of badwill among paying viewers. But the main point of using hidden shows is that it interrupts the bots that are recording you. You end up creating a lot of discontinuity in their recordings. You still have a lot of recordings of your public shows around on the Internet, but at least when those get found some day they are less likely to have really explicit things in them.

For protecting your private shows, your idea to only do shows for top regulars is a good approach.
