I'm still new to camming and I'm pretty wary about emailing my ID across the world for verification (I'm in the UK). When I was last trying things out a couple of years ago I played with Cam4, and at that time they didn't need ID if you weren't wanting to collect money. But now they need it no matter what and in their case they're based in Curacao, if I've got that right.
If people commonly got their identity stolen then I guess it would be quite well known, so maybe I'm worrying about nothing. But any thoughts or ways to be careful would be appreciated.
I'm male too so I know it restricts things a bit. Maybe Chaturbate is the most obvious place to start out, it looks like they're in the US. I'd love it if there were UK sites, but I thought the only ones I'd heard about are fairly small and manually select/approve their models, and being new I wouldn't get past anything like that.
