At what point does keeping your goal up just hurting you?

Yikes! lol just had the worse 4 hour streak in the last several months. It happens whatever... too many variables to find the exact culprit. Either way going back online in a few. For the models: at what point do you feel like your hours online being displayed with barely a percentage of your goal being met just works against you?

and for the viewers: Do you all even pay attention to that or even care?

Cb's algorithm wants you to stay online for as long as you can tolerate it. I've found 99% of people are completely oblivious to the fact I've been online for eights or sometimes tens. I say this because they act like I'm ready to do a three hour show for them and man...that gets awkward BUT it doesn't seem to affect whether or not people tip me or don't tip me. Now if I complain about being online for a long time, that usually results in mass exodus because no one wants to be a hero so I try not to do that until I'm definitely ready to go for the night. "[x] hours on cam [x] tokens, meh, good night."

I believe it's MFC and StripChat that start to eat at page rank the longer you're on in a single session.

sometimes if it's really bad i will hop off, reset all my goals and hop back on like that last show never happened haha. Sometimes switching to a new set of goal types brings in people.

Maybe change the wording on goals to "Next Goal: ....". Then nobody will know you're still working on your first one.

As a viewer on CB we're not shown how long you've been online. When I join a room I have no idea if the broadcaster is 10 minutes into their day or has been online for 12 hours. At least if there is a way it will be a TIL moment for me...

I also don't know how long you've had that goal up; maybe you are only three tokens in to a 1000 token goal because you just started it. I have no idea.

Having said that, if I it was broadcaster that I visited regularly and saw they had only made a few tokens in the past several hours I would definitely be tipping to make their day suck less.
