I’ve been banned, but I don’t know the reason, so I can’t file an appeal. I contacted the support team a few weeks ago but still haven't received a response.
I was wondering if you could help me move the case forward.

Due to a brief parenting lapse, a minor was briefly shown during a private stream with a single friend (no nudity or sexual content involved whatsoever, though I completely understand it is a terms violation).

Have there ever been any cases where a permanent ban like this was overturned under similar circumstances?

i can't speak for chaturbate but the change it will be overturned is virtually zero.

In the days before all of these laws existed, yeah it would have been overturned. Now? Damn near impossible. Sorry but you'll need to find a new site.

Since that's a zero-tolerance rule--I'd say the one they take most seriously--and an actual minor appeared on the stream, it's unlikely. Zero tolerance, in this case, means that it doesn't matter how or why it happened, or the context--it just can't happen.

If you continue camming on other sites, it's crucial that you secure a space where no minor is near enough (and can't get near enough) to be seen or heard, or for them to see or hear you. Having a minor's voice on your stream in the background is just as likely to get you banned as what happened to you. So it has to be taken seriously, first for the minor's wellbeing and then to be compliant with the rules.
