The ticket number has not yet been given to me after I emailed them.

So, I got banned last night for what I assume to be watching youtube videos in the overlay like streamers do on websites like Twitch.

I genuinely didn't know that it was breaking the rules until after the ban and googling what reasons it could have been.
I still haven't been told directly what the reasoning is, but once I realized how stupid it is to do what I did, I think it's safe to assume that's the case.
and I'm left wondering, is there any chance after that to get my account back?

I'm new to camming and this is my first month of doing it, and I truly enjoy it. CB felt like a path forward for me that I've never had and it got pulled out from under my feet.. and I'm really sad and regretful about it.
Every other comparable website's culture just doesn't click or mesh with me like CB does at all.

I don't know exactly how this community aids in possible help in remediating this, but if anything can be done by someone here, I'd be eternally grateful.

I didn't intend to break the rules, and I absolutely will not be so frivolously dumb if I'm able to return. I've been upset and thinking in circles since the moment the ban page popped up.

I know it was my fault but, it was truly an honest mistake that will not be repeated.

... on a porn site, it should be very much common sense that you can't post images of anyone other than yourself or people who have verified their identity/age on the account.

I am afraid for future generations....

Along with the age thing, on chaturbate, you cant stream any content that you do not have the rights for.
Chaturbate and twitch are very different platforms with very different rules.

believe me, I know how dumb it was in hindsight and I only thought about that rule being so set in stone in regards to featuring people on my stream as performers/models.

I had seen people watching music videos and stuff and thought it'd be okay because of the rules I was used to on Twitch. (again, I know that it was bordering brain dead to do and I'm not using other people's actions as justification)

I'm just wondering if there's any hope of them having mercy due to it being a mistake and not me TRYING to break the rules.

I realize it was very dumb. I'd just like to know if I have to accept the heartbreak and move on or if there's any hope in a situation like this.

This one is a very strict one for obvious reasons, and you click yes you have read the rules every time your about to stream. You'll have to jump to another platform, and read the rules 5 times over before doing any streaming. Knowing your TOS is prolly the most repeated tip on this forum.

edit: I don't know the exactly how many get unbanned, but its usually for stuff that the ai mistook or when someone reports you and its false.

You should have received an automated email confirming that they received your message. Be sure to read it carefully and scroll to the very bottom; if you're asked to answer "yes" or "no" regarding whether the message solved your problem, click "no." Support often takes more than one week to answer, so patience is advised. Do not send them multiple messages or open multiple tickets as that tends to delay their answer.

Just advice and sometimes emotional support. Chaturbate's support team will be the only one one reviewing your case and and help you lift the ban if that's possible.
