I just want to express my sheer disgust at members of camsites who go out of their way to find me on facebook and blackmail me for free shows. I will find you and i will make your life hell. happened to any other girls?

Not happened to me, Although i did get a "rich" dude stalk me online and sent me an email saying he wanted to marry me and a massive list of things he wanted, when i said no and that his idea was pretty much insane, he then started sending abuse.... :rolleyes

Report it to Facebook, it may help, but try and keep your FB profile off the radar and never add anyone who you dont know... Shouldnt happen, were all human beings yet some decide to be complete asshats :\

Nope, my fb is locked down tight. I don't post any 'real name' photos as Aeryn nor post any Aeryn photos on my 'real name' accounts. (They can be searched.)

Blackmail is ILLEGAL you should go to the police with anything and everything you have on these assbutts.
You have a camsite name for them? Contact the site you're working on and let them know.
You have a skype ID? You can use that too.

Also, if anyone tried to blackmail me I'd just send a message to everyone I know telling them I make money by being naked and/or mean to men online therefore negating the blackmail.

Definitely a low life I hope you find him!

This "blackmail" could be nothing more then trolling. In that case such a reaction is just what that dude wanted. Whatever you do, stay cool and don't threaten anyone like that online. Believe me, this can be turned against you easily.

I know first hand of some pretty nasty incidences of blackmail and related games against models. Sometimes you can act on it, sometimes not. Getting some expert help to find and expose them is the ideal solution.

Most threats are pretty slight, mild, and manageable and in these instances call their bluff (ignore them) and do your thing to contain the problem. Cut off all communication, check your security, and close off any areas that you know they have accessed. Most times this will be enough to stop them, especially if they are phishing for information (a common ploy).

Serious threats you must treat pretty much the same, but be prepared for any eventuality. Exposure is fine compared to being under attack, and you may just get lucky or find the right support to find them first. The longer you can delay, make them doubt the accuracy of their information, the more time you will give yourself to make plans. Record every communication.

To end on the positive note, I know models (more than five) who still work today, years after someone published their identities including some that had addresses of their families exposed. One even had a whole web site dedicated to her '(her real name) camwhore' , she is still working and doing well today, her family not knowing what type of work she does yet.

It's depressing how often I've heard of this happening. I hope it's only one or two guys that are living in their own sad miserable hell of a life.

Either way, for yourself and anyone else that needs protection against this and help preventing this from happening again, here is a useful thread to go through that will help to clear all holes:

a great suggestion is have a special name on facebook and a picture that is not of you. Also prevent search engines from finding you in your privacy settings on FB

Hope that helps some.

I wouldn't worry about the black mail Probably just a troll trying to get a rise out of you, and if you react strongly you're giving entertainment to a bored loser with nothing else better to do. Als and not to sound rude, but didn't you know the risks associated with being a cam girl? I learned awhile ago the possibility will linger that someone will find my information and look for me Also at some point or another friends and family will find out toooo. Perhaps, it sounds like I'm careless but the reality is with even the littlest of information there is a wealth of information online and you will be found. We just do what we can now to prevent it from stupidly happening, but even so it's always a reality that you should be very well aware of.

have a special name on facebook

I'm not sure if this is an option anymore (not counting accounts that have already done this). I tried to change my FB name last year, but it said I wasn't allowed to have a name that isn't my real name. Boo!

There you go. They have one weapon they can use to try and psychologically rape you. Take it away, and all that is left is a sadistic perv who is probably afraid to leave the house, trying to cope with living with a limp dick.

You can find free shit all day long. Hell, it is what the internet was designed for. These blackmail games are all about dominating somebody in my opinion.

Honestly the best thing to do if that ever occur, in my opinion, is ignore it. Those people are generally looking for a reaction and are unlikely to act on it. If you don't give them the satisfaction of confirming/freaking out that it is you, you've mostly already won the battle. I used to be a YouTube partner and was pretty well known when I was on YouTube, and I didn't have a moniker, I was known as me. I have had people at least once a month recognize me as the person from YouTube. Most people are just excited and don't feel the need to make the connection and chat in public about it. I've had I think one ever, who did it the other way and contacted me through the old YouTube email and I just ignored it. And I assume they went away. Like everyone else said, make all your fb stuff on lockdown. Remove your fb from showing up in search engines which is step number one, then restrict it to only friends sending messages, and only friends of friends sending requests.

This is horrible. I am given to understand that the best way to deal with blackmail is to call their bluff, every single time. That way, even if they pull the trigger, you still have the power. As internet porn is freely available, it can only be assumed that the blackmailers particular interest is in making you feel bad, which is a bit rapey. It's all about control and power, not your tits. Take the power back.

That's some serious ovaries right there.
No, she had help. If she had known he would be back years later on she may have left I suspect.
She received help from another model also a victim. This other model had someone help take the site down, and the guy did some jail time apparently (related to something else I think). A few years ago he returned to a similar game briefly (not with her), but has since disappeared thankfully.
This guy got off on the name and shame game. We saw someone a few months ago try it here, I lost an acf model friend responding to his posts by threatening to out do him which she took offense to actually. No tolerance is the only way to deal with such people.

I think it was SoTxBob who recently posted on here (in a Random Discussion thread) about FB's new policy...you're not allowed to have "pen names" anymore on FB. Your display name is supposed to be your real name, and the same name that's on your photo ID. They want your friends and family to be able to find you easier. It's sooo stupid. I know a certain YouTuber who was especially unhappy about this, because she ended up having to just reveal her real name to her followers.

Update: hes still going for it and saying well its your fault for not being on cam if you were I wouldn't have to do this. Oh and he also says "if you were in my position you'd do this too dumbass"
Honestly I've been afraid to get on cam since this started -_- i locked my stuff down but i know if i get on chaturbate hes gonna show up.

Do you know his chaturbate user name? Is this something you could send screenshots to chaturbate and let them know he's harassing/blackmailing you and ask them to ban him from the site?

Keep working at it, from a 1 minute search of you from here, you need to lock it down better. K. you must be much more careful with your security. I would also not post things like pics of nephew that can be linked to you as a model.
Your path of study must give you access to some people who can give you great advice on internet security, perhaps even the right things to record to track them, without telling the person advising you why.

Keep working at it, when you have done all you can close off communication with the nuisance doing this. I get the impression that this is more a game for them, finding out more about you is giving them a thrill, when you cut communication fully it should end. They may try reconnecting, but if that happens cut communication immediately again. It should end after you do. Never give them more information about you.
Be prepared, alert, and cautious, don't let it scare you.

Girl, I am sorry this is happening to you. But you really gotta lock your stuff down better. While this guy is probably harmless and just a dumb troll, you have opened yourself up for a potentially scary situation!

If I were you I'd not offer up where you went to school, what type of car you drive, or post pictures you post anywhere else- and I definitely wouldn't do all three of those things. Just from a second on your profile, I could have some important info to look for you if I was a weirdo.

Definitely read the threads posted about locking things down! You don't want you or your family's safety put in jeopardy! Best of luck!

So sorry this is happening to you. Report him to Chaturbate staff immediately and block him.
I almost got into the same kinda trouble when Skype decided to link up with my Microsoft account. I didn't even know it was out there til random strangers were calling me by my real name!
It can take a little work to cover yourself since every website wants to connect with your FB or asks for super-personal information, but even just creating a separate email address for your camming related stuff will save you a lot of trouble.
And NEVER post pictures to a cam site that can also be found on facebook.

Really? You think they want the people you know and interact with in real life to be able to find you more easily. *rolls eyes* No, they want the government and its alphabet soup agencies to be able to find you more easily. Why else would a "social media site" be demanding people's drivers licenses and passports? That is why as time goes by more and more third party sites are being integrated into Facebook. Just say no to Facebook and delete your profile.

That doesn't make a lot of sense. I think the govt. can put you under a 24/7 microscope anytime they please by now, with or without help.

Wanting to pin your id down so you fetch a more when they sell you to advertisers sounds a little more in touch with reality.

Funny. I *roll eyes* (and *eat popcorn*) at the majority of your posts too. :)
