Yeah it's pretty common knowledge around here that majority of girls who have ASKED to open a new account have been denied. A handful have tried just making a new account without asking, and then MFC shut down their new one and told them to simply use their original account. And a few have slipped through the cracks via avenue A or B.

Another method that works is to get married, or divorced, (basically do a legal name change) and if in the US get a taxpayer identification number under that new name. Worked for one model I know.

Edit: if that is avenue A or B then forget this. I didn't go back and read all of these. :p

For any girls considering 'reopening an MFC account'
I had an MFC account, closed it and got a new one 2 years later after I got experienced on chaturbate. Closing/reopening a new account to "start fresh" isn't the magical key to success I would say, unless you have the plans to generally hit the ground running. Sure, I had more experience and felt confident returning to the insane ness that is MFC but I don't want models to be mislead that a new account will solve everything. If you don't have the tools/time/game plan to maintain the high camscore by the time new model status runs out=same issue again. Maintaining a higher camscore is more difficult in my opinion than getting it to initially rise. You're better off focusing on your current account and growing with your following. It IS possible to bring a camscore out of the red. There are several very successful models here who have done so!

YES. Well said, Carmita! :)

As others have already stated, MFC does not like models closing/opening new accounts to "start fresh." If you directly ask them to do this, they will say no and tell you to use your original account, just like Jolene said. The last time I attempted to do it (I'd done it once...maybe twice before), that's what happened. And even if you are lucky enough to slip through, I really don't think it's a good idea to get into this closing-my-account-to-open-a-new-one-for-the-sake-of-my-camscore habit. Models who wish to boost their cam score should do so naturally by making smarter choices this time around...whatever that may mean for you. Maybe that's why MFC chose to have model cam scores...it encourages models to work smarter?

Think about it like this...*and this is NOT referring to anyone in particular...this is just an example*...if the laziest, most boring, non-interactive MFC model (let's say her cam score is 60) decided "I'll close my account, and then open a new one so I could start over with a 1000 camscore," she's just taking the easy way out, and probably won't bother making the necessary changes to improve her cam score. Meanwhile, you have these other MFC models actually making an effort by choosing to "work smarter" (brainstorming, experimenting with room topics, doing raffles, offering video deals, etc.). Those are the models who are deserving of a cam score rise, and will probably get it too, thanks to their efforts. As much as I hated cam scores, it makes sense to me that MFC would not want models using that method to start fresh.

Have to say it worked for me. I bombed big time when I was first on MFC (could not disguise my entitled attitude and couldn't see why I SHOULD lol). My camscore was rock bottom. Always said one day id try again. So 4 years later I opened a new account and benefitted massively from the new tag and fresh camscore. Personally I'd recommend any really low cs model to do the same (if they can, as mfc don't always let you). No point struggling when you can get a fresh start x

I've quit and rejoined MFC so many times in the past that I lost count. I've also closed and reopened accounts during that time. But I think that's because I used different email addresses. And I'm sure the rules have changed since then. That was quite a few years ago. When and if I do plan to come back to MFC, I hope that it's not too difficult for me.

I'm all blackhat so if I were a model I would just create premium bot accounts (((--all on different IPs running on diff VPSs--- or get a RDSL account so that all the IPs look like normal residential ones from a well established ISP-- That is how we did it in the CL marketing days--- Oh also with different payment sources))) and artificially boost my cam score and placement. 100 premium bots working to make me great-- all chatting with me to look like real people. I would buy chatty type content from an article mill, have it spun so that I can generate even more MFC type chatty ish.

Is the above against MFC rules or ACF rules? Seems like just a better version of that guest bot BS that models do. Around a $2500-3k investment but if MFC was my thing I would pimp it.

So you'd be making a bunch of premium accounts to help your model account have a better camscore? The only way that would help is if you tipped yourself A LOT of money (way more than 2500-3000). Yeah, it might give you an initial boost on the first day, but it would drop drastically if you weren't able to maintain that $/hour (by finding new regulars to tip you $2500-3000/hr). It would just be a huge loss of money, a huge waste of time, and potentially get you caught and banned from MFC for attempting fraud. Just not worth it, IMO.

I wouldn't tip $2500/hr that would be a waste.

Awesome post Evvie, very informative and definitely leaves you asking yourself a few questions :)

YESSS how do I fix that?@!!

You need to get knowledgeable in HTML and preferably CSS. You could get by with bare bones HTML but usually the fancier profiles use CSS. I use codeacademy.com to brush up on my skills. Its free. Also, finding free profile templates can help. Or hire someone

I know a fair amount of HTML. I will look into that. Thanks so much.

I play word games, trivia, board games, things that can be done by me in their turn but that are multiplayer. I have never been one for a spinning wheel because I feel like that wouldnt be well hidden if someone stumbled upon it. Drinking games are fun to, smoking games, paint by numbers. etc.

I would love that idea. I am a sucker for board games. ESPECIALLY MONOPOLY.

I wonder if someone ever played some sort of interactive Monopoly or something like that...

Are you staying online when you're not earning money?
Although you should generally stick to a schedule, even after you have altered your prices and services for sale, get offline if you seriously aren't making any money. Optimally, you would stick it out to the end of every shift; realistically, you should not.

May I ask why its better to log off. Is it just because of cam score?

Wait is playing tipping games all the time bad? Like if I don't post about mine I get asked for it so now it is part of my normal menu.
My problem is that now I think they rather do my tip game rather than my menu 10 tokens could win you a 150 token prize but if they don't win those things or the spins or boring they won't play or tip.

here are some troubleshooting questions... (just think about the questions and your answers)

i'm not saying whether it's good or bad, i'm just giving ideas for troubleshooting.

Definitely DON'T take a slow night personally. It happens to everyone. Even top models! When I have a slow night, I make the decision to have fun with MYSELF which thankfully I'm already good at it, ahah. Even if I've been talking to myself for an hour, I'll keep it up, or I'll start dancing, or reading out loud from a book I love, or showing people what I have in my purse lol silly shit like that. Another good trick is to maybe change your topic altogether. Maybe people just aren't feeling the game you've been trying to play, or maybe your topic is too full of different ways to tip you. Looking busy makes you look FUN.
For broadcasting on multiple sites, just know your chatroom. For instance, on Streamate, people are there to get off, not socialize (usually...at least that's my experience). But on MFC & CB, making friends & having conversation is a HUGE part of what takes up your time on cam. Don't forget to keep notes on who's who on each site - having followers/fans/friends on multiple sites can be overwhelming, & it's easy to forget little details about them (I have offended a few people by forgetting a conversation we had, or where they lived, because there can be so many people to keep track of. I've since learned). So MAKE NOTES! Or even saying out loud "'member name' lives in such&such, okay gotcha" helps me, even if I don't actually make a note of it. Hope this helps :) & I know while some girls do this, I do not broadcast on more than one site at a time. THAT would drive me nuts, & would be so hard to keep track of what conversations I'm having with who. Some models are really good at this ahah, & props to em, but I know I would not be! Hope this helps any :)

this is super helpful actually!!! i love how much i can learn on here c:
i remember being a baby stripper years and years ago learning stuf all ovver stripperweb lmao. i'm glad i finally joined ACF for my camming so much helpful info. :h:

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

- do you pay more attention to your cell phone than to your chatroom?

- does your cam say you are away more than showing your video?

- do you pay attention to what the people type in your chatroom?

- have you said you might go offline soon?

- do you look like you are about to fall asleep at any moment?

- do still photos of you look more like video than your real video?

- does your topic only list one thing people can tip for? (maybe those people don't want to see THAT)

- do you ever smile, laugh, tell jokes or entertain just for the fun of it?

- have you ever tried to get to know your visitors?

- does your profile look like the MFC logo and a few lines of plain black text?

- do you treat people the way you want them to treat you?

- have you changed your name several times and even your regulars can't find you anymore?

- do you absolutely hate typing AND talking on mic?

- does your MFC topic say "chat room"?

- do you PM everyone who enters your chatroom?

- do you give people a chance when they say something you don't like before banning them?

- are you playing the tipping games all the time?

- do you let people know when you don't want to do certain things you normally would do?

- do you click on every visitor and view their tokens and reward points before realizing they got bored and left already?

- does it look like you are hiding in the shadows because of dim lighting?

- do people say they are getting cam freeze/lag/pixels/teleportation show?

- do you have interests that could make your free public chat more fun?

- what do the high tippers get that other people don't get?

- do you bring things on cam that aren't sex toys?

- do you like porn videos with no plot and bad acting?

- are your guests and basics getting away with saying things that would get a premium banned?

- does your topic say something similar to "tip 20 if you think i'm cute"?
Woo it's so good for read, thanks for share!

Does the full Camgirl Success Troubleshooting post still exist anywhere? The link gives me an error, and I can't find it in the Models Only section. Did it get deleted? Is it in the MFC section (which I can't access--not a cisgender woman)? It seems like it would be a really helpful resource.
