So I've looked through the forum for info on camming and future careers but I have a bit of a pointed question to ask. I've noticed that employers can pull your tax records sometimes during a bg check and might find out you have a history in the sex industry but my question is, do you think that would matter to a university? I know it is a major no-no for teaching children but what about teaching adults? I'm planning on going to grad school and doing the whole eventually becoming a professor with my own research thing. I'm sure there must be other cam girls who have similar plans, since a lot of us are trying to help pay for college.

I go to a university where a lot of graduate level research is done in most engineering fields. (We have a working mine, wind tunnel and nuclear reactor on campus, the aerospace dept. is currently building a satellite for the military) I've never heard of any of the students even having background checks done. Get to know a professor who is doing research. Sign up for a job in the campus research department. Yes, there's a department set up just for hiring researchers in all the other departments. That's about it.

I don't think that will be much of a problem for you.

Thanks. Yeah I had a feeling it would be odd to check grad students.
