hi Ladies,

I'm new to camming, I've done 3 shows and all 3 have ended up on another website uploaded by cam girl lover. I've filed DMCA reports but google hasn't removed the content. Chaturbate have also filed DMCA for me but nothing has happened, content still there. I'm really stuck, has anyone else had any luck with this sort of thing? I stopped live streaming when I saw the content..

It's one of the risks of camming unfortunately.

I kinda wish that camsites would have some big glaring notice before you broadcast for the first time: "STOP. Your stream WILL be recorded and posted on sites that are not DMCA compliant. Do not stream if you can't handle this happening."

Yeah, I think it would prevent a fair amount of regret. I know I researched a lot and was moderately well informed about the risks that came along with camming before I signed up, but I do see how it would be really easy to either not know about the risks, or think "oh it won't happen to me" before hitting broadcast that first time.

Yes, such a warning would be amazing, and like @TashaRose said, probably prevent a lot of regret!

It appears many new cam models go through this. I remember consistently reading that anything you do online had the potential to end up floating around on the internet forever and that you basically had to get comfortable with this idea if you want to be a successful cam model!

When you first see those annoying screen grabs it is a bummer to realise someone else is out there attempting to make money off you. Even when you are kind of expecting it, the day you find them still sucks! Coming to terms with the fact that it ws likely to happen, before starting camming, was important for me.

I understand that it affects people in different ways. Some people perceive themselves having more to lose with the potential risk of these bot sites leaking their public cam shows, due to wanting to keep their camming career private from other employers, family members, friends, etc. Others, get over the fact very quickly, accepting it as part of the job. Personally, I think it would be unlikely that anyone you actually know would ever come across these sites in question and find you on there anyway, if that gives any reassurance? But hey I'm no expert...they just seem pretty hard to find unless the person has your exact username and cam site to put into a web search :)

Having your live shows recorded is unfortunately very common, and evidently its not always possible to have them taken down through DMCA requests. This is so important for new models to be aware of, and try not to become to dishearted when it does happen to you :h:

How can you girls found out about your videos on other sites?

An easy way is just googling your cam name exactly as you have it and seeing if anything pops up.
While this is the best way to find out if there are videos of you online, it's worth noting that this won't be a common search by the casual porn browser that isn't already aware of you. If you don't show up in searches for generic terms for your look / style of show, or for searches of your real name or real life characteristics, the chances of you being stumbled upon by a random viewer are much lower.

There's also two vids online I just found! I told MV about the guy who has copyrighted my vids but they won't help because I'm no longer a model for them! I thought they would speak to him or ban him because he has posted lots of videos from different girls on there!

Thank you for that. I am really depressed now it's all I think about. I was so desperate for money and someone suggested it and it was in the back of my mind but my need for quick money outweighed that. Biggest mistake.

This is something everyone needs to consider before their first stream. I'm sorry that this was your experience, but thank you for sharing. Hopefully it can prove to be helpful to someone in the future.
