Today I learned there is a very common, widely available fishing lure known as “Chatter bait.”

So if a guy says he spends all of his money on chatter bait, he may not actually mean the website.

It is pretty funny to think there might be an avid fisherman out there somewhere, who once casually told his family he loves chatter bait, and now they all silently have the wrong idea about him.

I know trying to see the positive may feel counterintuitive but at least it’s just that certain type of pork and not all pork products. Hopefully it’s an unpopular enough item that most won’t miss it while they sort that out.

Same with the olive oil thing announced recently - it’s only one specific brand and then it’s just their garlic one since the contamination came from garlic oil.

I've only heard of chefs using guinaciale. But yeah thanks for the heads up!

Never. I try to do that as much as I can; it's a mentally healthy habit to try to do that in as many situations and instances as possible. Not counterintuitive to me. Helpful.
