Ok so, I stumbled onto camming one lonely night after a breakup with my high school sweetheart. Didn't really feel good after spending a couple hundred, so I didn't use it for years, until 2-3 years later while recovering from a car accident, I was bored.
Any way, I've noticed some guys being incredibly clueless on this topic, here's my first hand experience and tips.
I am 25, 6ft, black, average body, was upper middle class prior to 2020, now I work in finance. I know some spanish, bits and pieces despite years of spanish class.
-If you are old and or ugly, it's not happening. The exception to this rule is if you have money/influence but then it's not really genuine but transactional.
-It takes longer than 1 chat. Usually you should chat 3-5+ times over a couple days for about 20-30 minutes, non-sexual, getting to know each other, in a fun, non-serious manner. The trick is to make it not feel like you're trying, the conversation should naturally flow if there's some chemistry. Obviously this isn't cheap, especially if the per minute rate is high, so it weeds out a lot of guys from those who are serious and can afford it.
-start small, like a first name. After they are comfortable with you, and say 5-8 chats, try to get the number. Here's the catch, most will shut you down. If that happens, its almost never going to change. If you do get the number, get an instagram/facebook. You can then see if they've been honest with you the whole time, especially since Facebook mines Whatsapp data and will miraculously find the persons Facebook (if they have a different name than what they've told you, move on).
-if they ask for money, move on.
-if they don't text or call before or after work, without you having to ask, move on.
In my opinion, Romanians/Eastern Europeans are better than Colombians in terms of this.
-Eastern European cam girls will 99% time try to milk you for every last penny they can. They take camming as a serious profession much more than the average Colombian. They generally won't give you their name or want to meet you. It's strictly business. But, when they become interested and are into you, they put in 100% effort, and its completely normal. Because some speak english, there isn't much of a language barrier.
-Colombians are easy to talk to and fun. Camming is work but not nearly as serious as Russians and Romanians treat it. They usually don't give their real names but you will have a far easier time getting it and their number than Eastern European women. The catch is they are incredibly flaky. 20% of them think or hope you are so desperate you will give them money for nothing. The rest are cool, but will never message you first, let alone call. Language barrier is real. The exception here is that, things change if/once you are actually in the country/town, a lot of girls open up.
With Eastern Europeans, you know you're most likely getting played, but when you find the right one, you really do hit the jackpot. Less quantity, higher quality. Whereas with Colombians, more quantity, less quality. Hopefully this doesn't offend anyone.

-Romanian girl videochats me after work. Apparently my Airbnb in Old Town is like 3-4 blocks from the studio. She's feeling me out to see if what I've said matches up. So many guys lie and build themselves up so they generally fish to figure out whats real and whats bullshit. One girls best friend met her husband on the site and now they have 2 kids together in the UK. So it definitely happens.
