I perused the forum and did not see any post like this so out of curiosity I thought I would ask.

What do are the do's and don'ts of members/fans on twitter?

For example this is what I do, please add or comment.

1. Pics of my favorite gals I RT
2. IF they are online and I like what I see I will tweet they are on and post a link to their room.
3. Comment on their tweets if I have something clever to say.

I do wonder if it is ever ok to post a pic taken from my desktip of the model at the moment to show how hot she looks?

Are there things that you wish members would not do? What can they do that would help you.

I personally don't like this tactic. While you may think the image is a nice pic of her, she may find it very unflattering and not want an "ugly pic" of her posted.

Your other interactions seem fine, though maybe just retweet HER tweet announcing she's online instead of posting your own.

Regarding the last part, i think it depends on the model. I have no issue with it ASSUMING i've OKed the picture. I've had members post really unflattering pictures and had to request they be taken down before.. and i feel like an asshole doing that. So, just..dm me the pic and be like "is this cool to post?"...

I wish members would not serial comment on my pics. Like.. 20 replies to pics over the course of 10 mins saying "goregous" "yummy" "i want a lick" etc. Its annoying and blows up my feed.

I wish members wouldn't post shit i disagree with. I mean, really you should all think just like me.. cos im always right.

No but seirously. There are a few members I adore who are VERY political .. and like to post things about their beliefs 24/7. I find it REALLY hard to take in my feed... I don't feel at liberty to get into a political debate with someone on my professional twitter, especially about polarizing topics. I also don't really want to get into a situation that might result in a fight with a member. So non stop feeds of political statements about polarizing issues are hard for me to handle.

NOT OK at all. Do not post pictures of a model during a show etc or when she hasn't explicity given you permission to do so. This is not the same as rt'ing pictures she may tweet herself. You may compromise her privacy or offend her or both. To me it is taking advantage and i would be extremely pissed off. It might sound harsh but tbh i don't care what followers do or don't do on twitter (apart from the above) unless they are regular tippers/ have supported me, in which case I will follow back and always thank and appreciate their attention to my tweets, interact with them etc.

I've always wondered why some guys feel compelled to retweet posts that are more than a few days old. I mean, situations where the original tweet was time oriented...like "Joe Blo won my free vacation to Philadelphia," and it's retweeted for months.

Yes I do get permission about the images and show the post to the model. If they object I don't post it. I have never had an objection just feedback that I would then rewrite and then they would approve. All the models I have posted about have expressed appreciation for the post.

My blog is just that my blog, my opinion. I know it is subjective and I clearly state that in the blog. Isn't camming as a whole EXTREMELY SUBJECTIVE in a variety of areas. I just share my thoughts, I try not to offend and only post about models I like.

Just my two cents.

Nah, we got some threads here at ACF that would probably serve people better... no offense, but it would take something revolutionary to convince me that having a blog for that sort of thing is more worthwhile than just pointing people toward this forum.

I find it annoying when pages or people like and retweet all of your photos/posts. Reasoning is, my phone is connected to my twitter. And I've had 5 whole minutes of vibration and my phone just slowing down completely. Plus when you have to go through your notifications to find actual notifications it's time consuming with all the spam.

And I don't know about other models, but I hate posting pics of my cats and getting "pussy" jokes. Am I the only one who hates that?

I've got one. Don't favorite a girl's ad and don't take her up on it. It's incredibly frustrating to get a bunch of likes on "get X and Y for Z!" and nobody actually getting it. Also, don't insinuate that you might. I had a guy go "tempting!" to one of my offers and it's like...not tempting enough, I guess? It's always rubbed me the wrong way, in the same vein as members saying they don't have tokens when I mention a countdown.

Oh, and it's slightly insulting to only ever interact with a girl's retweets. I have a few who will never respond to my actual tweets and yet always like or reply to me retweeting stuff from other models.

My sister has a couple of pet birds which i posted pics of them on a few media platforms. Every time someone comes up with "they look tasty" or "they must be delicious" joke. It's about as stale of a joke from the second time onward, yet each jokester acts like he's the first person clever enough to think of it.

Yes to both of these. I can't stand getting woken up in the middle of the night to my phone buzzing non stop because some horny dude is liking every single one of my photos. I've started blocking guys who like a bunch of pics at a time. It's annoying as fuck and most of the time it's guys who spam porn on their tl who do it. They usually don't buy anything from me anyway.

Other things that I really can't stand are
-Guys who tweet unwelcomed sexual things at me. It annoys the fuck out of me even more when they do it in response to a random tweet that has nothing to do with sex or a tweet where I'm sad or ranting.
-Guys who reply to a bunch of pics with "looking good", "wow", "beautiful". I could have gotten the message the first time
-Guys who will rewteet my preview pics and gifs for clips and delete the link to the site it's on. Out of everything someone can do, that annoys me the most. I dealt with a guy in dec who was doing that and had the nerve to get shitty with me when I called him out, saying I shoudl be thankful for the "free promo". HOW IS IT FREE PROMO WHEN YOU DELETE MY LINK?

I'm pretty lax on twitter for the most part unless its the things I've mentioned. Or guys who are trying to freeload, but I feel that one is pretty obvious since no one likes that.

I am sooooo so worried about this. Even when a model is working I hate replying to Viber or anything that might distract her from her room. Cause I know she may feel the need to reply (not sure if that is a positive for live stuff). On the one hand it shows she does take part in social media, but on the other, it takes away from the room or wakes her up when she isn't working.

Literally the only things that we said directly to you was that girls don't like to be rated, to direct new models to this forum to receive advice from veteran models, and that rate&admire don't do anything. That's merely helpful criticism (which you asked for, btw), not people making fun of you.

I'm sure there are other apps that do this too. But for Android one I use is called Night Clock. Just run the app each night when you're ready for bed. It displays a big clock, but it also silences all notifications. No need to change settings. Just exit out in the morning and you're back to normal.

you can set up iphone for nite/sleep mode also
