I'm just going to share my thoughts about being a member on cam site. It has been one month now. And I really enjoy this. I have a long history with strip clubs and many dancers friend. Two were real close friends. So I use that knowledge to know what I am looking for in a cam girl. And what to watch out for. I don't know what percent of tipping/pvt members that are like me. I do know i am a good regular to have. Some one who will be seeing u often each month. Once I check every thing out and got a feel for the chat room style of getting to know people. I started building my favorite list. I am going to assume a lot of models already knows this and work at mastering it. But for anyone who does not. Here you go. So far in my first month I have spent $1700.89. I have met a lot of models and spent time in chat. The main thing I look for is. Does she really enjoy this. I could careless about looks, shape or if they are showing tits. Its the she chats with me and the room. Most of the time and this go for dancers also. The hot ones are not going to work as hard. Or care about repeat spenders. They will try harder to hustle you or get over on you. And I respect a good hustle. And I understand why it seems like that is the way to make fast money and move on. And you have to a little hustle in you. It adds to the show. Just keep it as a tool. And dont let it be all you are about. The girls that really enjoy doing this and understands what paying guy are really paying for will always have steady income. Making the guy feel like you are really into him is key. And the older guys should understand that its part of being good at this kind of job. And is what they love most. Hot girl that's into him. Cant wait to chat with him again. So happy your back in exc w/me. I haven't got to cum good all day. You know the drill. The young guys some of all guy will think its real. Bro the hot bartender wants my dick bad. You see how the waitress is hitting on me. Same drill and should end with bigger tips and coming back often. And its so much better on here. Its safer. You don't ever have to touch them or any of the dancers have to do when talking to the guys trying to line up lap dances before stage time again. A few random emails. Some hot pics and light personal you stuff. Keep notes. Fuck that a hell of tool tool to have. Every one that ever tipped anything would have a note with there name. And a lot of girls can pull off the "only a dollar" kind of comments, Like if that person comes back in a you tease about how much of a big tipper he was last time. That you hope he has more than a dollar this time. But just to be able to have info on tippers is a big deal. And guys will be like I knew she wants me. She remembers my last visit. The girls I like. I enjoy tipping them love playtime. And the good ones will be likeable. And if you in pvt try work on that gut feeling you get when you think hes going to be a repeat. Have him sure that he got you wanting him. They will end up being good friends to have and spending money w/you on a monthly basis. I have spent $500 on my #1 fav this past week. And would spend more if I had the budget for it. I know that the largest amount of money I plan to spend each month will go to her. And I hope she has ten more guys like me. I know It sucks most of the time no ones tipping. And it looks like a lot of these guy have never been to titty bar. Or just dont get the real point you are here. But the ability to have fun not let money earn or not earn run your room. Should draw some steady spenders. When you come in a room and two words in your pushing for pvt.The reality of what it take to make money shows. And the first impression is lost. Also it gets in your head and brings your whole mood down. Its hard to shake that frame of thought. And will hold you back when the room is busy and time for your A game. The more honest and open you can be. The more people will like to come to hear more. I would try to get as many contacts in you mail box as you can. And when rooms dead start emailing guys you got a good feeling on. Flirt let them know you was thinking about the good time in pvt you had and wanted do something in exc you have done yet. But cause y'all clicked you want to try it with him. And it don't matter what you do. If it even works. It will still be time better spent. Than just siting there letting time not earning get in your head. I'm not sure if any of this will help me out. But if I can I hope I have a few guys that swear the only reason he hasn't tried to hook up. Is the site doesn't let you give out personal info. Anyway I shouldn't get fucked up and try to write. I cant write in the first place. So sorry. And hopefully It made some kinda senses.

Some goods tips in there! A little hard to read since it wasn't broken up into paragraphs, but i see what you were getting at :)
Thank you and yeah I didn't learn shit about writing. I never know the correct way to do it. And if I didn't have spell checker. It wouldn't be readable. haha and if I was in sober state of mind wouldn't have wrote it.

Some good advice. it's nice to get a members perspective of what they are looking for. One of the few things I hate about Chaturbate is that they don't have an e-mailing system. I can't count how many times I've wanted to email someone and tell them how much I appreciate the time they spent with me. Unfortunately it's set up to where it is hard to get to know people better. Just hope they are online the same time as me. But yea I try to be friendly and get to know people better.. sometimes on the model end it seems there are not too many members that want to talk and be friendly. They either want to watch in creepy silence with usually without tipping or want to know where I live, can they add me on face book, can they get a 20 minute show for $5, do I take western union. Lol. But I do have a few people that come in my room daily and we enjoy our flirtatious time together. THEY ARE MY FAVS!! sometimes it's really hard for me to be impersonal.

thanku for this! it was so helpful to read as a new model, just getting started and want to get as much useful info as possible before I start. it was interesting to hear from the point of view of a member, its good to know what u guys want. i hope all my members think like u do ;)

No way to e-mail sucks. Getting an e-mail from a model is the best. Really makes me smile. Plus I like that she enjoyed our time together. Makes me want to spend more money with her. Also adds to my fantasy that models want me. Im guessing a lot of guys really belive the models are into them or like me. I just like to pretend they are. And getting guy to fall for you is easy money. And I wouldnt feel bad about the ones who are clueless. They need to learn some life lessions. So I would teach them a good one. That way they wont forget. On SM the member has to e-mail frist. So models should have a good go to plan to make sure they get new contacts

The issue I have is I believe it's mean to lead people on like that. To me giving guys false hope isn't cool. Personally I'd have a hard time sleeping at night if I made anyone feel like I was really badly into them. I know enough guys will get it into their heads on their own without me adding in how much I so badly desired them in my life. If it were a simple case of building relationships through getting to know one another, learning what the guy likes and making business friendships with online benefits...I'm ok with that. My regulars know that I'll only act like that when it's clear that it's role play like GFE. I'm more than comfortable telling folks flat out that it would take years for me to even feel comfortable with the idea of meeting a guy from the internet (camsite or otherwise) simply due to how easy it is to hide true colors online. Sure it makes some dudes leave, but it isn't like I don't make my goals or lose many if any regulars off of it.

I'm sure it probably does sadly make more to pretend to be that into them, but morally it feels like a really crumby thing to do to someone. I'm not saying don't flirt or tease, (obviously those things are expected on a camsite) but them being told by the girl that she genuinely wants them is a bit too far.

That is very cool of you and sweet. And in offline life I don't like girls that play that game. It is hurtful. Online I think a guy should understand that the models are giving show. They don't want to add you on facebook. You are not going to meet, She is not trying to date you. And on on it goes. So I think it gives the models a pass on the morally part. Like the strip club you should know and look out for the good hustlers. Kinda the same here. But really if a guy gets butt hurt when he finds out she is just doing a show and wanting to earn as much as she can. The fault is all on the guy. And on the other side a lot of guys want to take advantage of models. I don't think that is cool. Because some models are really new to all this. And can fall into scams that really fucks up your personal life. But I really do like and respect the way you treat people on here.

I get where you're coming from, but lemme give ya another perspective. A lot of guys online are often have anxiety issues to the point where they work from home (say in IT) and have probably never even been in a strip club, and may very well be rather naive about how to deal with these scenarios.

Another fact is camsites OFTEN advertise as dating sites. Sure everyone should be skeptical of these, but I get countless guys every day who are baffled because a person in a chat claiming to be me said I was DTF, then they get told completely opposite by me when they click the link to my live cam.

If I felt like it I could lead em on all I wanted and many wouldn't be the wiser. There's a reason many ask models where they're from, and if they meet. Heck MFC in their wiki even brags how they allow members and models to exchange info even telling how many have wound up together in marriage. Granted I know a very small portion of models who have actually wound up with members BUT when sites advertise misleading claims, I can't really fault the dude involved.

Yeah I didn't know that part. So I would have to a pass on that one also. And I have learn not to buy in on a lot of advertising. Offline and online. So many dating sites now use texts bots and even live girls to trick people into thinking they will get dates. Lots of shady websites. I'm surprised MFC has that interesting.

I used to work on streammate but the traffic was way too slow for me. I would get very bored in the stretches of silence. I really hated taking my clothes off and putting them On 20 times a night especially with some of these lingerie pieces that take a degree in engineering to put on. And also I couldn't stand the fact that they were taking such a huge cut from me for "advertising and traffic purposes" come to find out they were recording my private shows, selling them to free porn sites and putting the wrong screen name on the title and calling it advertising. Pfft. But even after saying that I still made a little better money on there.

Which camsites advertise themselves as dating sites?

This was actually very helpful. I know that I learned super quickly that guys just want to talk to a girl who's being herself. When I first started, I thought that to make money you had to be sexual the whole time. For example, dirty talk the whole time. I've found that when I'm just being myself and talking, my room count stays consistent. I love engaging in conversation with the members. Everyone seems to always bring a different opinion to the table.

Another point I wanted to add is that it seems like guys take a girl just simply being shy as she doesn't like camming. Which is not always the case.

Excuse me?
Who are you even?
You're a potato and I hate you already.

Didn't mean any offence. Just as oppinen. They are like assholes everyone got one, I did say most not all. And we all know everyone has advantages. And disadvantages. And if you're super hot and still work hard to get every would be tipper to come back that's great.

But go to the strip club and cam sites. The super hot pic that every guy is going to go get lap dance or go pvt. Won't be as fun and rewarding as the one with a good selfie and a smile that looks like she would chat and flirt. Even after you went through daily limit with smoking hottie because she saids "i'm so close to cumming" then damn $250 and didnt cum. I'm sure if it was a $255 limit she would have cum so hard. And I did say I respect a good hustle. And when you got the look that will keep guys stopping by. I wouldn't worry if 225 was all I got from one guy planning on spending 2k a month there either.

Like all the recorded girls. Everyone has a super hot pic. And they must be doing very well. because they all had good placement and a price that no cam girl would offer. It sucks for the models that missed out on customers because of that, And looks like the site not to worried about. But that's just the site i'm on.

I'm sure all the hard working super hotties get what I meant, And all the first timers having self esteem thoughts, Or think they need to be more hard core than they are comfortable with. Might see a market that will make you a good income if you just come as you are and have a good time. And I never give anyone less than 5 stars and leave nice comment no matter what the show was like, I'm more opinionated on here. but I wouldn't honestly I give two shits about what I think, Just a point of view.

Hmmm I feel like even if you don't agree with the opinion, an outsider look is nice. I, personally, like to encourage points of view that I might not agree with but might get some sort of insight into what members have going on inside their heads. It seems like this guy isn't out to hurt feelings but actually offer some input to help some ladies. Definitely don't stand by a lot of what he said but the fact that he's offering some help/insight is pretty cool. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Just sayin'. Might help someone out. Every cam and member is different.

It's not surprising that someone's view point could be so ignorant. At least, as a domme, I don't have to pretend to care, coddle or entertain such viewpoints or ignorance. I'm super hot and I have a good placement... but you better believe that I work like crazy.

I don't think people are responding badly to any opinions... It is the statement that hot girls don't have to work hard - so they don't. That's not an opinion - it's downright insulting to all of the beautiful ladies on this board. I know SOOOOOO many gorgeous, successful ladies. Do you know what they don't do? They don't sit around and twiddle their thumbs and make bank based on their looks. If any girl wants any sort of success in this game.... They had better believe they're going to have to work their ass off. Those Top MFC girls? You'd better BELIEVE that 99.99 percent of them practically LIVE online - and when they are not online, they are talking to members or filming content or doing social media. That goes for the top clip girls I know too. They are always filming or editing or camming or writing or talking with subs/fans. They live and breathe their work. Every successful girl I know has earned that success with their blood, sweat and tears - no matter if they look like a Victoria Secret model or if they are a sweet, lovely doll.

It takes a LOT of work to make this job look so effortless, but it is pretty insulting to insinuate that beautiful girls don't work their asses off for their success, that all of us don't do the same. It reminds me of the boys who come around and say to get a real job. This is a real job. This requires a LOT of work, and to just dismiss a beautiful woman's success based on her looks... That's a very bold statement to come from a customer who has no actual experience with camming itself.

He might genuinely believe that beautiful women don't work as hard, but that's no an opinion. That's a fallacy - it's not true. And to say such things to a group of very beautiful and very hardworking women... Well... You can understand why people aren't going to accept and respect that statement. I enjoy reading the opinions of all sorts of people from all sorts of views, but I would never walk up to a group of people and say that they didn't earn their success - they were basically given it because of their looks. That's not helpful at all, and I would really hate for a new camgirl to come by and read that false statement and believe it is true. I mean... To some degree, many new girls already do believe that this is quick and easy money, and we all know that isn't true. So I don't think it's really helpful to anyone to let such statements slide by!

I think I might get what he means. I don't think he is saying that the bombshell types aren't working hard but that they have an advantage that can make finding success easier than it would be for your average camgirl. I could be misunderstanding him but I think this is the message he is trying to get across.

You know where girls who don't work hard sit on, right? It's called page 3.

There are also girls on page 3 who work their asses off because working hard in itself is not a guarantee. But no matter how hot or lucky you are if you don't work hard you will never succeed at this.

Totally get where you're coming from for sure. Suppose I'm just grateful for > any < inside look and love to see that encouraged. I definitely disagree (obviously because I do this job and can attest to all the work that goes into it.). I guess I'm more of the person to just appreciate the insight and take or lift what I need out of the information and ignore the dumb stuff haha.

I think we may be dealing with a language barrier here. The dude may have problems with English and it's making it difficult for us to understand and relate, yes?

Every guy has different tastes, every guy has a different amount of disposable income, every guy is looking for something different. There really isn't a magical formula for getting and or keeping regulars. If a guy likes a model, he'll keep coming back. How often? We'll that's a different story.

Some guys like a lot of variety and are just browsing to get a show from a different model(s) every time they log in. Others, like myself, prefer to build a sort of connection with the person behind the cam. I don't know. There comes a time, at least to me, where sexy fun time loses all the glamour and you get curious about the girl. Not out of hopes of marrying the girl, but as a sign of respect. Like hey, you're a human too with a life of your own and I'd like to appreciate you for more than just putting on a show.

Forgive my cynicism, but how can you make a thread for the girls on how to keep good regulars when you haven't even been on a site long enough to be considered one?

His advice seems to be, "Don't worry if you're not at the top of the page, because not everyone can afford the time and attention of those models."

He also seems to have thrown in a generalization about "hot"/successful performers based on his own experience. I don't think it is terribly controversial to say you have to pay more for the time and attention of a more successful model, because there are other people willing and able to pay more for it, but you can't make judgements about their work ethic based on how they treat the perv on a budget*. I don't think anyone would chide a successful artist for turning down a commission that another artist would gladly take.

*He probably spends more than I do, but I don't expect anyone to remember my name, let alone send me random e-mails.

I am responding badly. forever.:cry:

After I made a bad joke he basically told me in his response I didn't understand but hard working hot girls would ... so either I am not hot ... or not hard working  His point of view is wrong.

:haha:
For the record I am again being facetious because I don't know what being serious even means. I just couldn't resist taking the opportunity when someone who has only been a member one month thinks they understand how a model can keep regulars when there really isn't a magic formula and I think most can agree you need more than a month to be a reg. It just all felt really narcissistic TBH he set himself up so good. Then even better when he responded. I just can't.

I was trying to point out all the times when going in exc/pvt. The model would only try to hustle you. And it's ok if that is how you like to cam. I used to spend a lot of time in strip clubs. I was a supplier. So I kinda got to get all kinds of funny hustles. The dancers could pull off. I don't see any harm in that type of show. But it does start to have a negative effect on what members look for before going to paid chat. I've had the same talk with two other members. That avoid going in room that has a great hot profile pic. Only because it seems to happen in those rooms. I truly think it harmless. And kinda hot. When you get hustled by a model that is very good at it. Not many of those. And yeah you will more members pass up on some great rooms. Just because of pass show hustles. Very sorry about the way it came out. And I should have thought about what I wrote. And definitely how it comes across. I didn't mean to be sexist. But it was. And men say very dumb shit. And sexist shit and don't Realize it. Glad it was pointed out. Sorry. I think you are correct about getting any good points and just ignore the dumb stuff.

What does it really take? A stroke of luck. Plain and simple.

You have to be a type of girl that some random guy likes, you have to be on at the time said guy logs in, and you have to be lucky he'll find you out of thousands of other models on different sites. You have to be lucky that going to a camsite isn't something he has to hide or it's something that he'll do regularly, that you were having a good day and we're smiling and he didn't come in for the 10 seconds you managed to look pissy or on an off day.

If you follow OP's advice and lead guys on with GFE (who aren't asking for it by name), what happens when the dude talks with other members and they all find out the truth? Boom. You just lost all those regulars, or at the very least, just stirred up a hornet's nest of drama. And what happens when that drama starts to end up in the lounge or leads to negative reviews on mycamgirl or the sites you work on, boom, you just lost potential future customers as well. Honesty is the best policy. Leave the fantasy stuff in paid chat and leave no illusions once it ends.

There can already be enough drama that's just caused by having a following. Like regs who get jealous of one another. OH you did this for so and so and not me? wah. Why does so and so have you skype/phone number/kik/etc and I don't? Why do you tell so and so you love him bla. Just lots of stupid shit happens and can happen enough already.

TLDR, there's a lot more external factors that come into play than what you specifically are/are not doing so don't take it too hard on yourself if you're new or if you haven't had the influx of new customers you thought you might be receiving.
