Just a wee poll I wanted to do. Im intrigued to know your guys answers :) Thanks for voting!

I love makeup! I prefer to look like a damn drag queen. Other girls? That's a tough one... I say whatever makes her feel comfortable.

About what looks best to me? In natural lighting I think most girl can pull off little or no makeup but indoors with lightboxes and such... naw, pile that shit ON! The more I look like I taped a painted pancake on my face irl the better!

I also think makeup can be art for a lot of us, I know my makeup choices are carefully planned out and I try to do subtle (and sometimes not so subtle) things on different night depending on my mood and the expressions I'm trying to convey. :)

From a member's perspective...

For purposes of camming, anything less than caked make-up is good for me. And if a girl does not use make-up at all as part of her camming repertoire, i'm perfectly fine with that too.

For everyday situations, i'm one who reeeeaaally appreciates a woman's natural beauty, meaning a bare face, so that the addition of make-up only enhances that beauty. Many guys share this same sentiment as far as i can tell.

I feel like when a woman is on cam her makeup skills definitely need to be a bit better than in person. Either that or her webcam altering skills. The wrong color, shade, etc for me on cam and I can either look like I just got slapped or I'm a racoon, no matter how amazing I look in person.

I don't know if this is just me or people really underestimate the importance/power of makeup skills for camera related work.

I don't think there is a hard and fast rule. It depends on the woman, the circumstances and what persona she is projecting, both on cam and in real life. Make-up that looks great for a night on the town would look odd at the gym, for instance.

I know some guys do like bare face but whenever people say that, it reminds me of this:

I think on cam, everyone looks better with at least a little makeup. I like both a "no makeup" (but actually a little makeup) look, and heavy caked on looks for other girls.

I completely agree with this one. Not just camera but also for theatrical performances. The lights can wash you out completely!

I dont really wear a whole lot. Makeup routine is around 5 to 10 minutes depending if i dealling with eyliner. Lol. But i find that i do look a bit washed out even shiny sometimes. But i deal with it because im not sure how to fix it.

I think it depends on the look you want to achieve. No make up at all will most likely not look good on camera, with all the lights etc, a little makeup gives a cute, 'natural' look, but a well done, full make-up gives so many possibilities. Unfortunately I'm not a very good make-up artist and I really dislike wearing makeup every day on cam.. I kind of have to though, at least some eye make-up, otherwise I look washed out. I'm lucky to have a good skin so I don't really need to do more than that. On other girls I always appreciate skillfully done make-up (because I really want to learn how to do it myself haha), but in general I don't really mind how much makeup a model wears.

I have experimented with the make-up thing. I normally dont wear any as I hate washing it off every night and my eyes are dry a lot. I love how I look in it though.

I have tried my normal everyday look, not very much and heavy makeup. And I nearly always made more money and had more people in my room when I had heavy makeup on. No one would visit me and I made nothing when I had no make up on. Lol

As HD became popular on TV. There was a shift to air brush makeup. Because traditional makeup became noticeable on camera. I wouldn't be surprised if some thing similar happens with cam models as resolution increase.

Just with cam models it may end full body air brush.
Perhaps that will lead to more airbrush art on cam?

Ive always wanted to try airbrushmakeup. Good coverage, very light weight, non pore clogging. So the infomercial says.

On other girls, I have no preference! It all depends on how she is in general, like if she's more of an easygoing model who likes to hang out and have a chill time or an extravagant model who likes to dress up and put on very elaborate and flamboyant shows!

On myself, though - definitely a little bit of makeup at the very least because of how pale I am. :( I look fatigued and sick when I have no makeup on. A recurring theme in my life has been teachers stopping mid-sentence in class to stare at me and say "OH MY GOD INGRID, ARE YOU OKAY?" on days I am not wearing any makeup.

So ye'

It seems temptu offers makeup airbrush systems. I don't know it compares to traditional airbrush systems. Their signature starter kit seems to have detachable cartriges. The nice thing about that, is you can switch back and forth between colors without having to clean the air brush. The makeup for this system is apparently kind of pricey, but considers higher quality.

Dinair airbrush system seems to be a cheaper system. Especially when it come to the cost of the makeup. Most of these systems seem to be priced around face makeup. So full body is going to raise the price.

There are safety risks when it comes to airbrush. It's really important to understand them before using air brush.

Some one who doest airbrush for the porn industry could probable give actual useful advise.

I'd rather some makeup than when models play too much with the contrast on the camera and make you feel colorblind. "Oh I love those brown panties you have on", "Oh my panties are actually yellow".

Same! If I wore my camming makeup out on the town, people would look at me like I'm crazy. It looks awesome with my lighting and set-up, but up close it just looks cakey and weird.

Personally, I prefer wearing tons of makeup on cam including glitter. In fact, guys know that I will be wearing outrageous makeup on cam. My everyday makeup is more like Siouxsie Sioux or Adore Delano. If I going to a vanilla job interview, I will wear simple makeup. I also prefer to looking at women with heavy makeup such as Lorena Herrena or Eudoxie Yao .;)

I love no make up off cam. On cam I press it on like I'm doing a play. I like both looks. Make up is harder but I feel like it's a necessity on cam because the lighting just washes us out. I bet even if you think they're bare face on cam, they probably aren't. We can do our make up to look natural too :)

I wear makeup to play a part. Normally I don't wear makeup irl unless to an event. I love putting it on. It makes me feel even more confident because I can transform into a different person. My makeup skills have definitely improved thanks to camming. I learned from the beauty gurus of YouTube.

I hate it when I'm touching up my make up because my eyes watered and fucked up my foundation and mascara during my 11-12 inch deepthroat show and there is lipstick smeared all over my face and someone goes "you don't need makeup." I get it, it's a compliment, but I wear it more for me then you. Also, who are you to tell me what I do and don't need? I think most of you need to tip me more, but I don't tell you that.

I've got this while touching up my lipstick, with a full face of makeup on. I drink a TON of water on cam, so I have to reapply lipstick every couple hours, and people like to tell me I don't need it. Dude, I'm already wearing foundation, powder, blush, bronzer, mascara, eyeliner, and three shades of eyeshadow, this is not my bare face that I'm just slapping some lipstick on. Telling me that I don't need makeup while I'm wearing it doesn't seem like a compliment, it just makes the person saying it look silly, because my eyelids aren't naturally pink and purple, nor is the inner rim of my eye naturally black.

I like makeup for the most part. Well done makeup is beautiful, overdone is usually horrible, none is usually sexy.
I have no trouble seeing past makeup but I also appreciate it. I have all sisters so I do enjoy it when it is done right. I will definitely visit a model who knows how to look her best, no make up can seem like the model isn't trying.

Even liking makeup, I have paid for a few make up removal private shows at the end of a model's time on cam. It is sometimes nice to appreciate someone you find beautiful for their real beauty, not the vision of themselves that they think is most beautiful. Some of my favourite all time private experiences in terms of make up are naked ones.
Makeup can create a warmer skin tone, slightly fuller lips, and more intense exciting eyes, but it can also mask those same things when in good company.

I always try to put makeup on when I'm online but it usually takes me a while to do my make-up (I'm a perfectionist XP ) So on the days when I'm out of the house looking my best. I can just come home touch up my hair and face and go straight to camming. :cat:
