Oh man! Tips during a show TOTTALY make me more aroused! Pleasing others is incredibly exciting, and tipping is the way in which that type of pleasure is respectfully expressed on camsites. It's not that "money makes me horny" it's that knowing I'm doing a good job makes me feel like a sex bomb!

I've recently started doing the occasional public beautiful agony show and when there's no tipping during them I feel SO uncomfortable. Like I'm turning everyone OFF. And that in turn tuns ME off.

Also, tips do turn me on outside of that scenario as well. Not like "oh yeah, counts are getting cleared! I'm so wet!" I agree. For me, it is the equivalent to typing in text shorthand when they have a full keyboard and unlimited characters. It makes me feel like I am texting/camming/whatever with an adolescent. Yuck.

You're not teasing me. Teasing is something that's fun for everyone involved. You're so detached from reality that you have no clue what you're doing. You've been harrassing me in tip notes as well as ACF PM for weeks now, I banned you long ago. WTF is that "brutal" and "angelic" nonsense? SO cringeworthy. It makes it SO clear that you really have no clue how you actually come across - do you think you're mysterious or something? You are not. You're one of the creepiest people I've ever had to come across on the Internet - you have serious problems, and lots of people agree with that, but it's not my (or any other model's) job to deal with them. From what i've heard, they don't. The only way to see tip notes from someone on ignore is to go through your tip history. But I could be wrong on that. Just something i've heard in passing.

From what i've heard, they don't. The only way to see tip notes from someone on ignore is to go through your tip history. But I could be wrong on that. Just something i've heard in passing.

I don't get bothered by most of the bannable things people say to me, I only want them to not be disruptive to my room anymore. I only ignore if they're using public tip notes after they're banned (which is still disruptive as members can still see them). If they're banned they still have a chance to apologize. They both serve a function and I'd be sad to see either of them go. That said, if a member is getting under your skin, or if you're prone to that in general, it might be best to ban and ignore in the first place.

Yep, two systems with slightly different different uses.

The ban is the one everyone is more familiar with - person is gone from the room but still can be annoying as Lily mentioned above by using public tip notes and I think MFC mail as well.. Plus, the ban option is available to models only. But then, there's the ignore option, which is available to members and models but with different levels of usefulness: if I as a member use it on someone, I won't see what they are typing while the rest of the room will see it. And if the model ignores that member, no one in the room will see what that member is typing (or their tip notes, as Amber pointed out) - they effectively start shouting into the void.

There are currently only 2 types of bans model can give out, as well as an ignore and a block.

6 hour ban - can't be in the chatroom nor view her cam
60 day ban - same, just longer, and many models re-do their 60 day ban list to make it permanent, in a sense
Ignore (permanently mutes you from speaking to the model via PM, MFC Mail, Tip notes and you cannot type in her chat room)
Region block (you won't be able to view her profile nor will her chat room be available to you on the homepage)

Of course, shortly after that thread they added the beautiful, glorious, spectacular Lifetime Ban (praise be unto it) which has made things a lot nicer. It replaced the 60 day ban, which really should have always been a Lifetime Ban.

Ignore has always been extra great because it acted like a Lifetime Ban (in many ways) in a world where we didn't have one. The thing that is still nice about Ignore, is that you can still let the person see you, but they can't ever really bother you anymore. Sometimes I just know that someone is going to be annoying for all eternity, and they're never going tip either, but always have some shit to say. I don't know that it's necessarily fair that this person be forbidden from seeing my shows, but I would prefer not to have to interact with them anymore. It's nice to just permanently shut them up! Ignore is nice for maintaining my sanity without feeling like I'm going too far. PLUS, people who are banned can still message you, so if someone is harassing you it is really important to be able to block all communication via Ignore.

Jerry, you asked why a model would ban instead of just using the ignore. Here's a scenario: ex-boyfriend comes in, starts telling the model he's gonna give her info out. If she only iggies him, she'll ensure that he won't be able to type it in chat or converse with her anymore. However, he can still see the other users in the room and potentially PM all of them her info. In cases like this, it's best to just ban and ignore. But I usually ignore instead of ban (for reasons Kaylee stated above), unless they've done something that crosses a line.

You can tip any model from anywhere, simply by selecting the option from her menu.

You're sort of looking at it completely backwards. It's because "bootyholios" are meant for "other stuff" that certain guys really get off on this. In another thread I commented that most porn is created by men who hate women, and I had geniuses argue my point, saying that porn was created by men who just don't care about women.
