Ideas for keeping interest up during a week long break?

So I was intending to start my first week on MFC this next week, but my Aunt is dealing with some life stresses and bought me a ticket to visit her for a week in March. I wouldn't be returning home till the 15th so I wonder if it's even worth starting before I get back? I'm just really anxious to get this ball rolling. Are there ways to keep member interest up while I'm out of town? Should I just manage another month with no income and work on more videos and audios to sell when I finally get online? Thanks ladies!

edit: My goal in the first week was to build relationships with a few of the members, much less money oriented than this comes off I guess. I just don't want to fuck up those connections.

It would probably be best to wait until you get back to hang onto that New Model status, and possibly spend the time beforehand advertising and getting everything ready, if you haven't already?

I considered following what looked like members on other cam girls twitters but I wasn't sure if that was considered the same kind of rude as poaching people from rooms and messaging on MFC. Tumblr is a pretty good platform for advertising, as well as Twitter (which I don't really understand either, as most of their "nsfw" tags aren't acceptable), or even Instagram for photos/short videos.
On Tumblr you can post photos/gifs/short videos with links to your MFC profile, advertise when you're online, connect with other models (the community is great), and use their tagging system to your advantage. Just be sure to watermark your photos as some porn blogs will steal your photos or delete your captions. Twitter, you can post photos/videos and connect with other models and it seems that a lot of customers/viewers prefer Twitter versus Tumblr for "online" notifications.
Building a name for yourself is a great way to help get yourself out there and get more viewers.

I don't know but I don't see why not? You could also make an account on a clip site (Manyvids, IWantClips, Clips4Sale, AmatuerPorn) and put your videos up there for extra $$$ and more advertisement.
Any other models know the answer to this?

Apparently offline tips do help your camscore, but I have no idea when it comes to tips before your first broadcast. Though, because you are a verified model it should certainly be possible, same as buying videos. You could try emailing support and asking about that?
