ImRaising replacing ChipIn...any info/opinions?

I was discussing with @SexyCocoLuv "Coco" about how ChipIn was going out and when we find something, we would share info (note my surprise face from being offline and oblivious :shock: ). I had a guy Ethan Smith post to twitter about this new company "ImRaising" and how they will be a good exchange for ChipIn. As alot of cam girls do, I ran over to google and found a couple articles.

Still uses paypal and they don't allow adult transactions - and their definition of adult is up to them. Just the fact that I was a camgirl and advertised on my twitter was enough to get my paypal shut down. I wasn't even offering sexual things.

Here's the info I got from them on twitter:

Me: your system seems based in the Charity world. Are you allowing adult services? Like donations/raffles for cam models?
ES: Definitely. We let anyone raise contributions for their or any PayPal account.

Me: Very cool! I will def pass the info along. How long is it for money transfer/processing?
ES: It goes directly to your PayPal account. We charge a 2% + 6 cent fee to private interests to keep our service online.

So yes, its still thru Paypal. You would still have to weigh if its worth the possible trouble.

Pay Pal, i must agree with fox. My bad experance with pay pal had nothing to do with adult transactions. ID theft froze about $1100 it was over a month after every one else, bank, retailer, etc, had cleared that we finally got Pay Pal to release thd $. And their attitude the whole time was we'll give it to you when we get a round to it. Every time we would inquire, we would be passed back and fourth and no one could understand the hold up - it had to be some other dept. Fault. Please hold on I'll transf..... :angry4:
