Is there a rule against having a cartoon avatar on MFC?

Sorry, I failed at being able to find an answer to this already. I know it sounds strange and "why would you want to do that?" but I was wondering if there is any rule against having a cartoon/art as your MFC avatar.
(assuming it's a non-nude depiction, not anything otherwise inappropriate, lol)

I believe there is a rule somewhere stating that your MFC avatar must be an image of you. I do believe girls have gotten warnings/requests in the past from admins to change their avatar when it was something other than an image of themselves.

Aww okay. I wish the rule was listed on the wiki rule page or something. I can't actually find it listed anywhere. It's not even stated on the photo upload page. frustrating.. oh well.

There are tons of models who don't show their faces in their avatars, and a lot who use pictures of other people.
