Is there anyway to get MFC Admin to act?

I guess I know the answer to my question, even as I ask it, but who knows .....

I've spent another evening being subjected to abuse, along with other members, from a vindictive little inadequate - it ended with the model in tears. This particular individual (who has at least 4 accounts) has been doing this off & on since last year, and has also tried to carry the campaign of spite off line - he's been threatened with legal action (which he knows would threaten his attempts to gain resident status in the USA) so has stopped that at least. Things had been quiet for a few weeks, but he suddenly seems to have reappeared.

I've sent 6 complaints now to Admin, other guys have complained, the model has complained and .... you've guessed it, zilch! So is there anything that will get Admin's attention, or do I let this lowlife win & walk away from MFC - because money seems to be all MFC are interested in, so it's the only sanction I have left?

2) Ignore them (so doesn't receive PM's from them).

Can't everyone else receiving abuse also ignore the person, so they can't see their chat and can't be PM'd by them either.

Honestly, why leave MFC because a person is an arse. Ignore them...and every time another person pops up, ignore them too and have the model ban them?

As for being banned, it bans the IP doesn't it? So with 4 accounts none should be able to enter the models room unless they can reset their IP. Once you ban that account, they have to reset IP again. Surely the person will get tired. As long as no-one reacts, they'll get fed up.

Well, she's banned him previously (two of the aliases) and the ban has just recently expired, hence the renewed attacks. She's rebanned one of the accounts but, for some reason, it doesn't seem to be working on the other one. And I agree about the IP comment, but this guy knows his stuff (hence the hacking).

And yes, I agree, we could all just ignore him; but that would work for the regular fans, and we wouldn't then see if he's in pouring abuse at the newbies. Tonight we were able to contain it, a little; if he was iggied, then he'd have been able to sit there sniping at will - and ask any of the other models here, you ain't gonna get rich of a smallish group of regulars.

She's a sweet girl, and doesn't deserve this treatment. But Admin have ignored all requests for help, and realistically they ae the only ones who can permanently & properly deal with this now - but I doubt they will, the mighty dollar is all. It's incredibly short sighted of them, eventually it will backfire as models tire of the abuse and go to other sites, and us pervs decide that MFC really don't deserve our hard earned.

I'm fairly sure he has done this to at least one other model as well; although he has blocked me from viewing his profile (and I have done the same) I've seen cached versions on Google & pictures posted there have subsequently been removed by the model (so he now has empty photobucket holders sitting there).

He starts out nice (apparently), gains peoples trust, then loses it & turns nasty. If anybody else has come across him I'd be interested to know. It would be nice to think Leo might act on this, but the evidence is against it - which is why I've had to resort to this (sorry for using your forum like this Amber )

MFC does not now, nor will they ever give a flying fuck about the models or the members.

Sorry, I might sound harsh, but if the model can't take it, then she needs to maybe find something else to do besides cam. We all get trolls, and have to deal...just part of the biz. Also, trying to be the white knight and "protect" her by telling everyone else is just feeding the troll....just Iggy him, she should ban him when she can. Send screen caps to MFC and if he gets all aggressive don't threaten, TAKE LEGAL ACTION (hence the screen caps) THEN the cops can tell him to fuck off....just sayin

I'm actually really curious what exactly "turning nasty" consists of. What is he saying/doing that makes her cry and everyone so upset?

Eva, you have a point but, yes, it was a touch harsh. She is probably too nice for MFC, far too trusting, which is why this guy was able to get to the stage where he could hack into her PC and gain access to her emails, Skype, Facebook ..... She's perfectly able to deal with the regular lowlives frequenting the site, but this guy has taken it to extremes. Maybe on the scale of things it might be considered by some to be small beer; but there is a part of me that still gives a stuff about people & if I like somebody I'll try to stick up for them - for example, if LilyPink was going through the same thing I'd be sticking up for her too (although, to be fair, Lily is more than capable of dealing with trolls herself). If that makes me a "white knight", so be it; and if that offends some people, then I'm sorry.

The "turning nasty" Amber relates to the hacking, and the fallout from that; I think what gets to her is the sheer unrelenting nature of it all, threatening him hasn't worked, the quirks of the MFC software means she can't ban him permanently herself, ignoring him hasn't worked, so I wondered if there was any final way to get Leo et al off their arse - well Jebbaz answered my question, so at least I know.

It sounds harsh, but it's the best way to keep harmful information out of the wrong peoples' hands. There are a few people who I've totally befriended over the last year and a half, and it would feel natural to share info like my real name, my neighborhood location, my real email, etc with them... but I don't and never will. If every camgirl went into their cam life with this attitude, I think a few less girls would be victim of this kind of problem. All it takes is a tiny extra bit of info for someone to gain access to things that they want kept secure.

If a model sends models@myfreecamsmail.com a message asking for the person's accounts to be banned and explains the level of harassment, they will comply. I had OtakuJack's name and address to give them as well so they were able to make it to where he can't even make any new accounts on MFC. Hip hip hooray It did take a really long time before this happened, like I had told them months before and nothing happened besides his individual accounts being banned, but then I emailed more recently and they did exactly what I wanted. Might depend on who answers your complaint *shrug*

She can renew them before the 60 days is up, exactly the way she put the first 60-day ban on. Every time she does that, it resets the counter for another 60 days.
