In the other houses, police discovered and arrested three Thai people, a male and two female workers who acted together make the nude video clips broadcasted on the internet. So the police restrained them to be the witnesses.

'Acted together to make' the clips? But they're only being held as witnesses? Like I said, the Thai government much prefers to prosecute foreign nationals over its own citizens if they can. Even if the Thai nationals were actually making the clips, if they can get away with prosecuting the non-Thai nationals, without prosecuting their own citizens, they will try.

And they'll have very little luck getting the US to extradite the owner of whichever website the clips were broadcast on (we're assuming MFC, but it might not be).

Thai police is corrupted there and she appears to fail to take care this group when she was expanding her business there. Since they have Thai "employee" as witness in the case, it makes even clear what happened.

I remembered when I lived there 15 years ago, I carried quite a bit of cash when I hang out. The cops will take care of you after you pay them.

so men and women together in the same cell AND internet/twitter in jail??
well..that's .....different *_*

Wonder if she will be raped by the cops when she is in jail. It is quite common in asia. I don't know if the cops also deleted her posts. There is not human right there. Hopefully she can get out soon.

Yeah. This article is so full with BS that makes no sense.

The environment in the room was decorated in Thai style, with the Buddha image put in many places, which is very sorrowful for the Buddhists that saw them. Therefore the police commanded them to stop all activities.
What? There was a Buddhist parade going through the house during the raid or something?

Witnesses? They failed the same drug test and they were making porn too, so why they will not be prosecuted as criminals?

So the police made the plan to send a Thai woman spy to apply to be the model, and investigate their operation for several months, until she got the exact evidence to prosecute them. Then the police asked for the search warrant from Pattaya provincial court, and arrested the defendants with the evidence.
So, during the couse of several months "making porn", this spy was not able to determine if they were actually "making porn" or not?

Their revenue in each month was not stable, because it depended on the number of people who watched the video clips. The suspects were paid by the owner of the website based in the U.S.A., who would transfer money to them. As for the ya-ice, a Thai friend gave the drugs to the suspects for their consumption only.
I guess "friend" is a Thai word for drug dealer. And, if you already got a undercover spy agent already on their premises, why not send her after this "friend"?

It's called a mobile phone. Given that corruption (bribing police) is rife, I'm amazed you are surprised she could get a mobile in.
It probably got removed once those further up the chain of command find out.

Given the involvement of "Police Colonel" in the operation it is probably safe to say such "high profile" (they called the press conference to show off the suspects and various implements) cases are likely used as a means to gain promotion to even higher levels. Bribes will get you so far until someone wants to be high profile for "political" reasons. Several months of undercover? They'd have had enough evidence within a few days...

:? Well that escalated quickly.

Ha! lol Zoomer you're right, I kinda had a blank out moment there about the mobile phone..duh ofcourse mobile phone..I knew that..I'm Russian and it's common there for prisoners to keep mobile phones the whole times they're incarcerated for years..just as long as they pay off the guards and hide them when there's check ups even though everyone knows the phones are there...sorry about that lol, I feel silly. >_>

I haven't ventured out of the model's only section in a few days so I didn't even realize this was happening. I hope that everything tuns out alright for Mila and that she can be re-united with her babies as soon as possible. I couldn't imagine being separated from my 3-week old for even 24 hours.

I also hope that she stays safe from harm after all of this, too, as her real name has now been plastered all over this thread and that on it's own is a terrifying thing for many camgirls.

What I think is odd is that the articles say that they found drugs, so where are they? There are no drugs on that table or the 'equipment to consume.' But the do have her computer speakers there as if that's proof of something. Thailand is supposedly way anti-drug and typically turns a blind eye to adult businesses, so why do the articles and video not say they are being charged with possession, just producing and distributing pornographic videos and live sex shows. To me it seems like the drug angle is just for press because they know other countries don't consider porn illegal.

And if you've ever been in Mila's room when someone talks about drugs, she asks them to stop or be banned because she doesn't like drugs, even in places where some are legal.

Do you know how much 3g of ice is? you could hide it behind her smallest buttplug, it probly IS on the table.

And they also have a $1000 fine for possession of chewing gum. Sometimes an over reaction with reasoning behind it is still an over reaction.
It's beside the point, it's the law and people who live there are well aware of it. Last time I was on a flight connecting through Malaysia they announced (as they always do) that drug trafficking gets an arbitrary death penalty as we came in to land. Well, it's Southeast Asia, if you didn't know the law you're a dumbass and if you did know, got busted and complain about the penalty well guess what?

The extradition talk is just the Thai cops and media trying to make it sound like a bigger bust than it is.

Mila is a brand new mother to twins and it must be incredibly distressing for her and her babies to be separated like this and go through the trauma and stress of this. The fact that Mila decided 3 weeks after giving birth was a good time to make a run for the top 20 is another matter but I really hope this is resolved with the minimum repercussions to her son and daughters and that they have a thoroughly boring and safe time of it. :(
Ok so I know I kind of asked this before and I haven't been her most avid fan but...did anyone actually see her pregnant? I mean obv didn't see the twins on MFC it just seems kinda, I dunno - last year she was escorting, this year she's got thai models living with her etc...where the hell did being pregnant with twins slot into all this? And usually they mention that in the news no? That she's a new mother?

One of the videos I saw was the camera slowly passing over the items on the table, no pixelation effects. And no drugs or drug paraphernalia

Right but they put stuff on the table to look impressive, 3g of ice doesn't look impressive. Go get 3g of baking soda in 1.5 little ziplock bags, except it's probly clearish instead of bright white, surround it by dildos...it doesn't look impressive.

Better to just let people think 'drugs' and let their imagination run wild than just confront them and see how tiny 3g of ice is. and paraphanalia? she probly smoked it.

Also it's a personal amount of drugs. I don't know what the penalty is but in crime terms that's nothing compared to running an illegal brothel/porn racket, which is what's being alleged.

Remember also, while I'm not saying they 'deserve' this treatment (and let's remember Mila isn't the only one arrested here, who knows if or what the other people did), no westerner could live in Thailand *AND MAKE ADULT CONTENT* without knowing the laws and that being a westerner makes them a big fat target for high profile prosecution.

3 Europeans arrested for running a studio/making porn in Thailand? Lol it's such a cliche. The reason they need laws like that in Thailand is because the economic climate invites people to come and take advantage of the locals. I think we'd probly be shocked how little those girls were paid to be in Mila's videos.

Basically, the only reason Europeans set up a studio in a country with laws like that is because they have an endless supply of girls they can pay $5 an hour to. Without strict laws the place might be even more of a sex-tourism jungle.

Yeah the media doesn't seem to have a problem gleefully relating sex and porn stories do they? In a society where it's illegal to make porn lol

I'll admit I originally read this as 'Batgirl accidentally shot at karaoke bar', but it's good anyway, and check out how awesome the cops are with evidence/investigation - dude 'accidentally' shoots a girl in the stomach in front of a whole bar full of witnesses yet police haven't found the gun. Lol.

You're not supposed to be nude in the same room with Buddha images. We have several Buddha statues in our house but not in the bedroom. I can only imagine how they feel in Thailand if you're making commercial porn with religious images in the room.

I wouldn;'t be able to have buddha throughout my whole apartment then

Also I love this statement from another article, the poor confused police :(
When the police questioned him, he did not say anything and just kept looking down, which made the police feel confused.

Dood :? There are some things you don't need to wonder aloud, ya know?

And I agree with Zoomer. Making baseless accusations about successful camgirls was shitty, and she should have known better than to attempt to build a porn empire in a country that has banned pornography; but there's no way to reconcile a potential 20 year jail sentence with the "crime" of camming and using recreational drugs. That's madness. And the kid situation makes things even worse.

Who do they employ to write these articles?? :woops: The writing is quite bad. The links are to actual news sites, right? It's not some random person's blog?

Seems Pattaya has a lot going on these days...
Ouch about the guy's penis getting bitten and almost severed.. It's like, " Oooooh yeah, baby, love when my cock is in your mouth feels so good , suck it - AAAAHHH OMG MY PENIS YOU KILLED MY PENIS IT HUUUUURTS!!!"

No man will cheat on that woman ever again.
:-x
...
Or maybe it's more likely no man will date her.
:? :snooty:

" Protect your Manhood, Don't cheat!"

Does anyone else wish we could load a plane with camgirls and descend on Thailand to bust her out? I mean, maybe she hasn't been the best camsister lately, but she's one of us.

:text-yeahthat:

I know very little about her, but for fuck's sake... someone's in jail for using the same medium as I do to pay the bills... I mentioned this story to a friend (who's admittedly a bit conspiracy nutty  )
and they're like... better watch they could make it illegal here too...
it's far fetched, but you never do know... I don't think many of us are politicians or in a place of law making authority... so... it's a scary concept....

Now I feel bad for what I said - I never thought she deserved it, I just thought she was trying to get attention for her book or something. But she's being arrested for basically what we do everyday in our own homes and that's not cool. I hope she serves no prison time and finds a new country to live in and carry on her camming way.

I understand this rule but I don't see the relevancy of that commentary. I guess that is just another add to this bad image that the Thai press build about them.

 I thought about sending a email, with those screen caps Mate_ got, to the Austrian embassy at Thailand but I think their legal staff are probably aware of what happened by now.

Heh the trouble is, if you look at this from any point of view except those of camgirls/pervs, she broke the law and is paying for it. Not saying it's right but...no one cares. And really why should they - this is a drop in the ocean of illicit sex trade, trafficking and such that goes on in Thailand.

It's an outrageous situation to be arrested for camming or owning a studio, but I do agree that she should've respected the laws in that country, even if draconian. Hope she's going to be ok and she won't get a long sentence for it or even just get her deported back to Austria.

As sad as the situation is, I can't stop laughing at how proud are those cops for capturing the hitachi & the double ended dildo, oh oh the rabbit too

So, doing some more research...

Thailand actually is supposed to be nice to visit, if you are on a tourist visa. They go out of their way to make sure you get well taken care of, and in some places have special Tourist Police to assist tourists.

If you're an ex-pat, though... that's where you become boned, unless you're somehow making things look good for tourists to come to Thailand and the area you are living in.

I still think this is one of 2 things, overall:

A political move by the local police chief to make himself look good for some upcoming election he is going for, or maybe a promotion to a higher place in the police/government system. Parading around the obviously evil ex-pats while protecting the identities of the obviously non-consenting adult Thai performers (obviously the evil ex-pats made them do it) and saying he is going to try and get the evil webmaster in the US arrested for breaking Thai law does wonders in Thailand come election time.

Someone wasn't getting bribed enough (or at all), and decided to shut them down to prove a point to them and anyone else in the district who might be doing the same thing.

Either way, I still stand by my statement of just stay the fuck out of Thailand, or, hell, most of Southeast Asia right now.
