I want to take back my comments, I spoke hastily. I have been seeing a lot more diversity there these past few days and I have been hanging out and having a really good time over there. So I am now a Nood.tv convert.
I love it! I applied awhile ago and didn't hear back for awhile. I was starting to think like you but I realized it's because Alice works one-on-one with each new streamer to set up her first broadcast. They're not discriminating against body types etc., It just takes time. Also, the longer it takes to get an invite, the more bugs they'll have fixed in the meantime. I'm doing my first test stream on Sunday! I'm a little nervous because the style IS different than MFC but I am hopeful. CHANGE IS SCARY!

I'm interested but maaaay wait a while, as they have over 1000 applications for an invite (it's just for an invite, not actually applying) and they've got roughly 130 models invited so far- if it's true (which I have no reason to believe that it isn't) that the owner is working 1-on-1 to set up streams then I definitely understand the delay.

I think Mila Milan's getting caught was more drug related than MFC-related. Or more large-scale porn related.

It had nothing to do with drugs or more large-scale porn. The law in the country where Mila Milan was staying said that: "It is a criminal offence to produce, distribute or possess obscene materials for the purpose of trade." Mila Milan was arrested for that. She stated that the definition "obscene" is up to the interpretation of the officials and could even have been implied nude. But she was caught in the act streaming nude. So the streaming that Chloe does is therefor most definitely against the law in just about any Asian country: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pornography_in_Asia

There have been lots of girls that have streamed from locations where porn is illegal without issues. Yes it is against the law, but generally they don't have problems. Mila had issues because she was running a studio and at the very least using drugs on her property.

Yah... It's only a problem if you get caught...

drugs on her property.

The drug found was meth, 0.3 grams. It was found in a room being used by workers who were renovating the villa. Her hair didn't test positive for meth, but they still tried to pin the possession of meth on her.

They also went after her for
owning sex toys.
For her VISA being like 2-3 months expired.
Sex Trafficking
Creation of indecent material

They basically threw the book at her.
It took a while, but most of this was thrown out in court.
But she was warned they'd try to go after her again if she continues to cam.

Dang, you’re a plethora of insight. Know her personally?

of course not

I'm just saying Mila Milan might be in the same group as Kendra Sunderland (library girl), Little Devil (arrested for impersonating a police officer), Lin first (4 years in prison for creating obscene materials).

And there have been other cammers arrested specifically for camming in Thailand. Tourists have been arrested for taking nude photos in Thailand.

I was just curious why/how you knew so much detailed information off-hand.

Of those others you mentioned, the only girl I'd heard of is Kendra. You just seem to have a lot of saucy stuff about people in the cam world over the years!

Update: I wrote to Nood to ask to be signed up for the beta testing because their sign up form didn’t take special characters at the end and both my model name and twitter handle have an underscore at the end. Long story short: they replied super quick, signed me up and included me on the following batch of Nood invites which went out like 48 hours after that exchange. I was both happy and thrilled to find a site with an actual human being taking care of support with a phone number you can call if you want.

The sign up process itself is really easy, I think one of the strongest points Nood has going is the usability. The sign up “form” looks more like the sign up page on a site like OkCupid than a cam site, it is even pretty to look at. Setting up your stream is trickier but they have guides and the model who takes care of support also guides you through the setup in a private chat. You are required to use OBS to stream on Nood and the quality is so high you need a powerful processor, just something to keep in mind.

Now I have cammed there twice and this is what you can expect:
1) If you don’t bring your regulars along and you cam on Nood’s “prime time” your room will have around 130 viewers. It is still a small site but the viewers that they do have are invested on the site: they chat and tip and makes for a fun and dynamic show.
2) Some key features are missing like the capacity to ban someone. I heard you can silence people but I have no idea how to do it because I didn’t have any difficult interactions there
3) Many models work hard to present special, creative shows so some models have said they feel a little bit intimidated by the bar being high.
4) The quality is outstanding but the connection is unstable and the streams are prone to show a “disconnected” screen to the user when the model is on cam. I suspect these are all issues they are aware of and working on as they are still in beta, but it is still annoying when you are in a show.
5) Unlike other cam sites Nood is focusing a lot on their site’s culture so they have a clear idea of what types of show they want to encourage. They are looking for an experience more similar to Twitch than to a normal adult cam site so they want heavy interaction and entertainment on the part of the model and they are trying to train the models to do a variation to the regular shows they do elsewhere so it is more in line with their vision. This fact has caused controversy with a couple of models voicing their discomfort at what they perceive to be micromanaging and controlling behaviors on the part of the site. I read through the documents and thought it was sensible information, their support staffer is always reminding models that it is only a guideline and in no way mandatory which I felt was sensible.
6) The majority of the site’s core users are also Chloe fans so sometimes the site feels a little weird when members start talking about Chloe spontaneously in the middle of your show. I hope models are capable of generating enough varied traffic that this stops being noticeable.
7) The 70% payout is THE BOMB. The couple of times I cammed on Nood I made about 1/4 what I make on a regular day On my main site BUT because the payout is 70% I walked away with a lot more than I was expecting. It felt really nice.

All in all I had such a good time I am considering doing 1 day a week over there just to support the site. I was skeptical of Nood at the beginning, this thread is a testament to it, but now I love it, I think they are doing a great job and wish that it becomes a main site soon

So I am going to start by saying something very positive. Nood's founder is an unbelievably talented human being. I believe she can accomplish anything she puts her mind to, which is a combination of her technical acumen, her unbelievable confidence in herself, and her sheer persistence in impossible circumstances. I think she will make Nood a success eventually, but she is going to do it by the most non optimal path humanly possible, and some of the reasons for that are below.

Like a lot of entrepreneurs, she has an enormous ego. She is as smooth as a politician, but occasionally you get a glimpse of that ego in her Twitter feed. For example, a few years ago someone questioned why someone so talented would ever want to work as a webcam girl. She came back with the Kanye West quote "STFU and enjoy the greatness." Wow. :) Personally, I think a better response in defense of webcam girls would have been to respond "I made north of $500K last year as a webcam model. My last job as a programmer only paid me $200K" Pretty sure the heckler would have wilted.

That ego means she takes no investors. She claims to have business advisers, but I doubt that, and if she does then they do not seem to have a clue what they are doing. Because - for most of the three years Nood was in development - there was no discernible competitive advantage. What are they going to do differently, that cannot be easily copied? I very much get the feeling she is winging it on her own, just figuring this all out after she already has a product released. Video hosting is a very expensive business. But - the bottom line - is that she has the elements of a successful entrepreneur. She might just figure it out, all on her own. Being able to tell the world that she did it all by herself seems to be a deep-seated need for her.

One thing I noticed immediately on Nood as they went to Beta is that they have extraordinary acumen about model selection. They find girls who are highly verbal, nice personalities, very creative, and great interaction with the audience. You won't find any Russian studio models staring blankly at cameras there. The audience seems much friendlier than CB or MFC. So those are some differentiating elements that give the site a nice spirit. I have my own theories about how they could differentiate, but I do not think anyone in charge would care to listen to an outsider's opinion.

That was an awesome post and thanks for that summary.

Regarding point 5) above: people should go back and see what the founder was making when she did traditional webcam shows based on "tip menus" versus what she makes now doing shows based on entertainment themes. It is pretty much a night and day difference in her revenue levels. I rarely visit her room any more, but back when I did pop in once every few weeks she sometimes had single bidders giving her 50K to 100K tokens over the course of a show, and her daily ticket shows were pulling in about 50 to 60 paying users (an additional 30 or so were fan club members getting the show for free). The one show I ever did pay for seemed much more like a soft-core romantic-themed porn video than a traditional webcam private cum show.

So she has an entertainment "formula" that paid off in spades for her. I can easily understand why she might be tempted to see if those ideas replicate for other models. How much of her own remarkable success was due to her personal talents, and how much of that scales to other performers? That's the open question. If she could build a core audience that wants those kinds of shows, and if she could build an organization that mentors girls and gives them show content and ideas, that might be a virtuous cycle that could give Nood a unique position.

I got so excited because on page 1 of this thread, I see a picture of a girl on Nood playing Stardew Valley... one of my alltime favorite games. So awesome :h:
I'm really quite curious about Nood myself, but seeing as I'm still very new entirely to the adult industry/camming, I'm not sure if I should even e-mail to inquire about joining.... I don't have a huge following on CB and definitely not on Twitter yet; Do you have any idea generally if they're taking on established camgirls with good-sized followings, or if they're also looking for any potential? >.<

I messaged them on Twitter today, explaining I have never calmed and have been trying to decide which site I want to start on, I described the kind of shows I’m looking forward to doing, and asked if they would be taking applications from complete newbies, and the response was

Hey Zoey!

We are looking for some fresh creators yes! We would be interested in working with you!”

I watched Chloe split camming on nood and cb for a while. It's a cool and unique idea that tips and even comments from cb were imported into the chat at nood too. Great approach for split camming.

Is she doing that with an OBS addon, or is that behavior actually built into the back end of Nood? I had assumed the latter..

even comments from cb were imported into the chat at nood too.
Trying to wrap my head around this.

Why is this a thing, and is this not going to get her in trouble with the other sites?

It was not done with obs. I guess she accesses the chaturbate chat like apps and bots do and exports it to nood. Maybe one of the beta testers can shed some light on the matter?

No idea about any legal aspect of it. Eventually there might be some tension between her and cb anyway despite her being super profitable for cb now. Maybe cb invested in nood? I would consider it if I were cb.

Just read on twitter that Chloe had some health trouble apparently caused by stress. I think she's not reading here but all the best still. Also apparently nood has some investors now, if her home base cb didn't take that chance...

Any updates on how Nood is doing? I popped over there and saw only two models streaming.
I see a few models advertising it daily, so I'm assuming it's going well for them! As far as I'm aware it's still invite-only beta but there is a thread on their Twitter account you can reply to to be contacted about testing it out.

The website seems more flushed out, the interface feels consistent, and responsive.
The community section has more detail.

But I don't see anything about rtalabel.org or asacp.org .
No age check when you visit the site.
Currently there is no 'report' button for abuse.
I don't see any google reCAPTCHA to fight botnets / automated abuse.

The, "We're not in America so you can have a date raffle on our website" thing makes zero sense, perhaps I am missing something.

If an American model uses a European website to host a date raffle to an American audience on the European site, but all of the raffling & dating is being done in America, you are still breaking American law regardless of what out of country platform you used while being in this country.

That is, it might be legal to buy certain substances in other countries, and you might be able to see foreign websites that will ship internationally, but it does not make it legal for you to participate/purchase from an American address to an American address just because it's okay in, say, the Ukraine, and you used a Ukranian website. You're still breaking American law, while being in America.

I'm sure date raffles have been largely successful for many girls (and thusly the cam site) for many years. If it were so easy as to say "We're in Australia where it's fine, so..." then I'm sure that at least one of the major platforms would make a HQ in another country and operate in America, or switch some servers over to out of the country so that they could still legally profit from date raffles. But even if they did, that does not give American cammers a pass to commit a crime.

In your shipping example it is not the purchase that is illegal but the act of importing illegal goods or smuggling as it is commonly known.

When it comes to raffles a date raffle could be legal if it takes place entirely online then it becomes a question of where the server is located. However if the drawing of the raffle takes place in a location where holding a raffle is illegal then it won't matter that the server is in a place where it is legal because that is not where the crime took place. It is not actually the gambling laws that models are interested in circumventing but FOSTA-SESTA, breaking gambling laws is something that has been done for years with very little consequences for models. With FOSTA-SESTA not being an issue since the server is not located in the models can once again offer date raffles without the site owners having to worry about being charged with sex trafficking.

Popping in here to share my experience on Nood. I was in the latest group of invites, and did my first stream today. I'm hoping to stream there much more often, and will update as necessary.

Verification: Once I received the invite, everything was super easy. Like @Mila_ mentioned, the usability and simplicity of everything was stellar. I was verified and able to stream in one day, though it's mentioned that it can take 3-5 days.

There are plenty of payout options, including Bitcoin. Most options have 2 free payouts per month, after that it's a 75 token fee. Bitcoin transfers are always free, SWIFT transfers are a 200 token fee. Minimum for payout is 200 tokens.

In your 'intro' emails, you receive links to all sorts of helpful info, most importantly how to set up a stream using the required OBS. Alice, the model support rep, is very helpful and responsive, and will most likely hang out in your first stream for a bit- it was a great chance to ask questions without having to wait. (We were curious about my 'Master Dildo' due to its size.)

Something cute that stood out to me was the varied tip system. Guests can tip manually, or they can give 'stars' for 10 tokens. You can tip 25 tokens for a song, I'm not spoiling the selection list, but some of them are pretty funny! There's also a 'surprise' when 99 tokens are tipped. Again, not spoiling the fun.

The community is very friendly and helpful. They really seem to strive for a fun, lighthearted environment. I felt no rush or pressure to get naked ASAP (or at all), and it feels like the guests are just as laid back. "When it happens, it happens." My favorite part- lag is almost nonexistent, which is GREAT for real-time games with people! I played a few rounds of Oh Sir! and Jackbox, both worked beautifully on Nood's end. My end decided to throw some scaling issues for JB, but that's irrelevant.

All in all, Nood is a great place when you want a good, relaxed time with fun, sexy people.

Hey everyone, I've been beta testing in Nood. I'm also apart of Spankchain's beta testing too! If anyone has questions, feel free to ask. I'll give you my honest opinion about my experiences with the Beta. I've also known about Chloe for a while now and like watched all her shows and have seen Nood grow, so if you have general questions about Chloe/Nood I might be able to help. So far I like it a lot more than CB because my cam style is more appreciated on Nood than CB (more interactive, personality based). I don't use Lush really, so CB can be hard. I really like the intentions behind Nood and the community aspect. I reallyyyy like the UI and the features that are to come. It's gonna be like a sexy Twitch! I've been really waiting for a site to come out that is more modern like Twitch, so I'm excited about it :D. I will say that features are limited atm, but its Beta so it doesn't bother me and I expected it. Plus, Chloe is coding all this herself, but if you check Nood's trello, you can see all the feature ideas that will be coming.
this may be from a really long time ago but what are your thoughts on spankchain? i just signed up!

I am getting super excited for my first Nood stream now!

I had been seeing tons of posts of Nood going around since a few months back and I ended up following their Twitter just to keep up with the news on their Beta work.
About ten days ago I was contacted by Alice their Community Manager who was extremely friendly and professional in her messages; she was very easy to talk to and was very fast to respond. In her first DM she claimed they "loved my work" and how were impressed by my "creativity, interaction, and entertainment level" Which I have read through the forum here and can confirm to these three aspects to being a standard that their site is looking for as they are clear with it right off the bat. Once formalities and intros were out of the way she proceeded to express how the message was an "invite to join the flock" since they are currently in Beta and are running on an "invite-only" interface.

I have only cammed for MFC so I can't say much as to my experience over the board of camsites, or how others compare to this situation as far as sign up processes go. Honestly though, I personally thought the way that Nood has chosen to handle their current situation, even if its simply their way of handling things while in Beta, was very comfortable and refreshing. I truly felt invited and welcomed right from the start and having a real person to speak with made things feel more comforting rather than to respond with a bot or one way emails. Now I am not saying that the majority of Alice's replies weren't regulated and felt copy/pasted but she did come back in ways that connected our conversation to the sign up process and information.

After looking into their site I can say it really is apparent that they're still in Beta, but knowing that, I am only that much more interested as to what the site will have to offer in the end as I enjoy what I see. Their community does look very warm and inviting, the chats were all rather active and the models seemed to be having some fun with it which makes me excited as there are easily days when things are slow and comments struggle to come through when I stream on MFC. From watching, I feel as if the members on Nood are a bit more interactive and responsive while in the room but this is just an impression from my the view through a looking glass. I know things will be much more clear after I have the opportunity to finally stream for my first time and experience everything first hand.

Overall the sign up process went smooth as it was very quick and they made it extremely easy as far as verification goes. I know in my personal experience with the MFC sign up years ago, it took a few days for them to go through my documents and get back to me. Nood on the other hand was back with me within a day and I was set up with a plethora of links to help me get started and a handle on how their site works, the FAQ's, model information and other helpful articles to read through. All of it was easy to read and understand even for someone fresh to their forms of commands which do seem a bit out-of-date which is understandable as a Beta site. I hope to see a more interactive interface later on though, I would love to have similar ways to ban with a quick click of a button or the option of friend adds for private chats just as MFC has.

All in all, I am limited to what I can say from this point until I move into my new place later this week and fully give Nood a run for its money (Pun intended) but I can say from this point I am rather excited for the opportunity and experience. I always try to have an open mind and to make the best out of anything so I have high hopes! I look foreward to what Nood has in store as well as hearing about others personal experiences with the platform and their streaming!

Are private chats (pms) even a thing on nood? I watched some streams and it didn't seem to be a popular way of communicating.
