I cant see/hear the word poop without thinking of 2 diff. spongebob episodes.. (people order our patties, lets get the poop on the robot) anyway, I think they did something like this on house a few years back.

Really, I'd take a poop transplant if it meant no more runs. But thats just me.

They only offer it to people who could die without it, and who are suffering so much from their condition already that they don't really care what the treatment is, as long as it stands a good chance of working.

Sure, I wouldn't have thought this could be a treatment, but it seems to make sense, and it works.

People have been feeding rabbits samples of healthy bunny poo to correct digestive issues for ages. Wouldn't be surprised if it's common with other species too.

It is. Vets have been doing it for a while, either feeding it straight out or making a tea for the animal. Luckily, we humans found a way to avoid the taste, and therefor, the breath that would follow, by sending that shit right to where it needs to be. :thumbleft:

Rabbits also excrete two different types of feces; the little pellets everyone knows about, and a softer type known as cecotropes, which allows them to absorb more nutrients. It's a rather disturbing process if you don't expect it. You look down one day and suddenly your adorable little bunny has a mouthful of butt butter. and then you remember that time you were laying on the floor and you were so excited when he licked your head.....

It's like what cows do with four stomachs, but they send it out the end and pass it back through the first one again!
