I'm hoping for Redacted, honestlyBut he has the sole power to do that and no one here does. [Redacted] or natural causes will only rid of us of this meddlesome priest.

Yeah this most definitely isn't happening for good reasons. I haven't talked to my Venezuelan friend since it happened but I know a few months ago I had made an offhanded comment about how I want to visit some day, and he basically said "you'd better not visit, Americans aren't welcome there, they think you want to harm our president". I guess he wasn't that far off but I thought it sounded wild at the time. How are we feeling about the US / Venezuela smash-and-grab?
Obviously Maduro was an asshole and it was good to get him out. But all the oil.
Could Venezuela become part of the States? With all their oil?
Any Venezuelans in the house to comment?
Also something I keep going back to is that the US has a history of installing leaders they prefer after staging a coup. The hypocrisy in all of this is astounding.
This is two-fold. A distraction from Epstein and a reason to delay the mid-terms or stop them entirely.
The impression I got during his speech was he was disappointed there wasn't going to be a second wave of military engagement.
Now Venezuelans may be thrilled Maduro has been captured, but are they happy Trump did it? Let's remember he's the one who wanted to stop the Venezuelan caravans he said would take over and steal American jobs if they reached our borders.
He's going to declare democracy restored in Venezuela and deport every last Venezuelan back. It will be chaos.
Yeah he mentioned that in his victory lap, "and I endorsed this guy and that one and look how well it's going now they are leaders."Also something I keep going back to is that the US has a history of installing leaders they prefer after staging a coup.
I'm sure there are concepts of a plan.He want the oil fields, that’s clear.
Other than Rubio having a ‘chat’ with the de-facto new leader there wasn’t much of plan.

Do you think any country should be able to just oust another country's leader?
That's the only way he was getting out, the people didn't have any power to remove him as the system was completely rigged.Do you think any country should be able to just oust another country's leader?
He pardoned the largest narco kingpin known to modern times last month. This isn't about drugs and it isn't about democracy and it isn't about improving lives of Venezuelans -- which he proved when he was trying to stop the Venezuelan caravans coming to the states when Maduro was slinging his worst at his citizens. This is about stealing oil. That's the only way he was getting out, the people didn't have any power to remove him as the system was completely rigged.

Stephen Miller today, "well no one would fight us about it..."Expecting to hear a lot more about US interest in Greenland then, considering it's huge untapped wealth in minerals and offshore oil reserves.
So it's begun. Poking NATO with an orange stick. SMFH.Stephen Miller today, "well no one would fight us about it..."
Yep. How much longer until he tries to sell us to Russia? So it's begun. Poking NATO with an orange stick. SMFH.
It's the other side of the Ashley Babbit Coin.RIP Renee Nicole. We’ve all seen the multiple videos and even before an investigation the US administration is blaming her.
There are only a few countries in the world that would that. This is akin to Russian state rhetoric.
It's the other side of the Ashley Babbit Coin.
IF one chooses to believe that the actions and conversations we have are predetermined and inevitable anyway, he was going to shoot her no matter what happened, in both situations. One was warranted as a sacrificial warning to others and the other a slaying by an "officer" of the law.Yes, but driving away from a traffic stop and storming the capitol with hundreds of others?
I get your point, though.

Well the latest batch are all unemployed former Proud Boys who cosplayed as tacticool dudes in charge of their turr...so, none. None training. I mean they let Dean Cain join and his doughboy ass was so out of shape he noped out within 48 hours.Perhaps both went in there wanting to shoot somebody, who knows?
How much training and background checks do ICE agents have?
Kinda sounds like the situation we're in here in the US. I totally understand this view point but I feel one dictator replacing another isn't helpful to Venezuelans. That's the only way he was getting out, the people didn't have any power to remove him as the system was completely rigged.
Wrong. It was Border Patrol.Aaaannnddd.... ICE just shot 2 more people in Portland
Wrong. It was Border Patrol.Argentinian gang member. "Supposedly."
The Department of Homeland Security said the shooting occurred while Border Patrol agents were conducting a "targeted" stop on a vehicle carrying two people allegedly affiliated with the Tren de Aragua gang. The passenger was the target, DHS said.
...
Asked whether the passenger is linked to a previous shooting, the police chief said, "I can't comment on whether or not that's the case. We don't know who these individuals are."
Portland Mayor Keith Wilson told reporters, "We know what the federal government says happened here. There was a time when we could take them at their word. That time is long past."
