Snapchat buttons no longer taking photos.

So, for the past few weeks my Snapchat volume buttons have completely stopped taking photos, along with my remote which uses the volume to take photos- the touch screen button still works. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled Snapchat, cleared the cache, deactivated and reactivated my account and nothing is working. When I try to take a photo it just shows the volume going up and down. Has anyone else ran into this problem? How did you fix it or was it unable to be fixed?

I have this issue for about 30 days about two months ago. I really don’t know how I fixed it, but I think that there was a series of Snapchat updates and maybe a iOS update that fixed it eventually without me doing anything. It was miserable while it was happening, so I’m sorry you’re going through this.
