I am, of course, referring to the web site Fat, Ugly, or Slutty, the creation of a trio of female gamers who thought it might be fun (and necessary) to point a ray of sunshine on the wave of misogynistic communications they and other female gamers receive in the daily course of feeding their addictions. It seemed to dovetail with the often bizarre and objectifying comments all too common on cam sites. Any stories to be shared?
Starting off, tonight I was participating in some 0wh4g3 (where I was the one being owned, unfortunately) with a random teammate by the delightful handle of "onehotchick23", or some such. Despite not having a microphone to provide a voice sample and likely being an 11 year-old male troll, some of my team started in with catcalls and lewd comments immediately upon the gamer joining the lobby. Kudos for the brave soul for sticking it out for three entire matches before either getting his fill of laughably inspired derision or needing to go take a shower.
