This may be pushing the definition of "TV", but I'm gonna go for it anyway, since Netflix and whatnot counts these days, why not other webseries? It's all streaming entertainment anymore, right?
I'm not sure this has been posted on this forum before, but a couple of years back, an awesome short, "The Reward", described as a "bromance fantasy film," went viral among sword & sorcery, D&D fans.
After it's big reception, the animators held a successful kickstarter to turn it into a series. What came from that kickstarter is the pilot episode for the series, "The First Hero". It was posted a couple of days ago, and it is so AWESOME!
They've set up a new kickstarter in order to fund further episodes, too. Looks like they'll probably hit their initial goal easy, and I would love to see them hit all their stretch goals, get a million dollars, and produce a full ten episodes!
At any rate, I'm pretty stoked on this, and I had to share, especially since there are at least a few fantasy lovers out there, and there isn't much out there for us to glom onto (outside of Game of Thrones or Adventure Time.)
