Ok maybe this one isn’t a “WTF” on the surface. In a bubble, it’s a pretty reasonable take. But after reading several years’ worth of “fell in love with a cam model” threads on ACF and knowing the similarities a lot of them have… I saw this and went “I knew it.”
Dark purple username loitering in a 20-something Colombian model’s room on CB for a couple hours now (he’s still there as I type this). Has yet to tip a single token. Appears to have been taking advantage of her willingness to PM users with tokens for free. The model is not speaking out loud to anyone or posting in public chat… and then the member drops this in public chat with no context at all, presumably meant for his PM window:
“Lol yes, that’s true, sometimes age is nothing but a number. There are people of 40 who seem to be 16 and people of 20 who seem to be 40.”
Maybe all those ACF threads have jaded me, but I immediately thought “older guy is working on convincing himself that she likes him, but not for his tokens since he’s not tipping, and that she is not worried about the age gap.”

I'm not religious and have no issues with anyone who is, except when it's judgmental (like in the example quoted) and particularly when disparaging of sw, I get really mad.
And when someone with such views joins a cam site and gets on their soap box to try to 'save' people who don't need or want to be 'saved', for some reason I just get a mental image of good ol' Uncle Jesse from DoH shouting into his CB radio "Shepherd to Lost Sheep......."

I used to be a very devout Christian. I watch about the same amount of adult content now as I did then, the only difference now is I don't feel judged and ashamed for doing so; I actually enjoy it.

Since you commented I'll share the brief story. I grew up in a church that my grandad co-founded years before I was born. I spent 10+ hours there each week and I also went on multiple international mission trips. I then went to a conservative, Baptist university in the Bible Belt with the intent to become a theologian. Long story short, I entered college as a religion major and graduated as an atheist.

The “am I right” at the end kills me. Guy can’t decide if he’s a Herculean sex machine or a 1970s Catskills comedian.
Did he also ask you what’s the deal with airline food?
The most annoying I've seen is the guys who want to chat to the model in realtime in PM and tip like 1 token a message and then constantly type "replied" over and over in the free chat.
Me and another user in the room. I'm tipping furiously to activate the vibe. About half way into the fun, other guy, who hasn't tipped a bean types "take panties off". There's literally a menu item for that. Froze for a second while I decided whether to respond to that effect before deciding he wasn't worth it.
And they say romance is dead. Sexual chat is one thing but I really get angry with the suggestion of actual violence as part of the sexual act.

I'm not sure why some guys just have to ask this, nor what difference the number makes.......
(I was really tempted to reply that it was a moot question anyway, as there was a good chance another birthday would pass before he tipped anything, but stayed out of it)
I’ve never understood it either, really.
Other than just being too nosey, I’ve seen a few guys ask the age question that appeared to just be very nervous about whether the model was really over 18. To the point where they asked it before saying “hi,” and if they didn’t get an answer quickly they repeated the question or left the room.
I guess if they didn’t understand that the platform has an age verification process - or just didn’t trust the platform to do a good job of it - I could kind of understand them asking. But in that case, why would the model’s answer be any more reassuring than what’s already listed on her profile?
It reminds me of the old cliche where a guy would ask a full service sex worker “are you a cop? You know you’d have to tell me if you were.” Believing it gives them some kind of legal safeguard just because they asked.

Is it possible that this is the guy’s way of saying he wants to make sure she’s at least 18 before he proceeds (even though we know that cam sites already verifies this)? Probably not, but that just crossed my mind as another way of looking at it. Most likely it’s just him being curious of her age.
I don’t mind at all being asked my age (even though it’s usually on my profile and sometimes in my room topic). It’s him adding “…before I start” that’s making you shake your head, right? Lol.
I’d probably just playfully say to him “Why…does 40-year old me not turn you guys on the way that 27-year old me used to?” ?
