I think if I hadn't binged it ALL for the first time after the last season was over... I could see that. I may have not been able to hook into it if I had a week between episodes but watching straight through really did it for me

My coffee story: First day of High School I get there early and head to the cafeteria. I see a bunch of my friends standing around "trying" to drink coffee. Every one would take a sip, make an unpleasant face, dump some (more) sugar and/or creamer into the cup, take another sip, repeat...

I watch for a few rounds of this, then ask one of them what they are doing. He says "drinking coffee". I say "is it any good?" He says "not really..." I say "then why are you drinking it?" He says "well, because we are in High School now".

Which probably explains why I was basically a loner in HS.. I've never felt the urge to do anything simply because society/peers/others wanted me to or felt it was expected of me. If I don't like something, I don't do it.........

I stopped watching Mad Men, a show I loved, after the third or fourth season. I just couldn't sustain the necessary interest given the extra-long gaps between seasons and the writers' strike. Same thing with Homeland, after S2. I'll probably go back and finish them someday...

Shows like Fringe and Person of Interest, which blend long story arcs with self-contained "case of the week" episodes, are easier to stay with.

I hate whipped cream tooooo, Chantilly is also disgusting. Here in Japan they are obsessed with whipped cream, they eat it in a cone like it was ice cream (I swear I am not making it up)

I correlate the music with someone I really, really despise. Pretty much a lifelong thing at this point, yeah.

For the record, I don't hate any other band, artist, or genre of music. It's a weird, isolated thing for me.
