So twitter has a little program for promoting tweets and I was wondering if any of you use it and what your experiences with it are.

As far as I have figured out, adult accounts aren't allowed to pay for their promoted tweets program. :(

That's so dumb. Thanks, AC! I was trying to see what the deal was in the terms, but I have bad eyes and they were getting really strained sifting through it.

Hmm... maybe they changed it... https://ads.twitter.com/terms/us

I searched that page for "adult" and "porn" and "mature" and got 0 results...

...also I apparently love elipsesesessesse...

Is this the same thing that Twitter calls "Twitter for Business"? Was going to look into it, but never considered the adult issue as a possible obstacle.

Maybe? I am not sure. The whole thing is weird and hard for me to decipher. I'm a dumbass, though, so maybe you'll have better luck. :drunk:

Twitter's ad platform is identical to Facebook's now (which makes me think soon FB will acquire Twitter, maybe i'm wrong but if not you heard it here first)

I do internet marketing and use Facebooks platform as the engagement is better for my T-shirt business, but I am certain they will not allow any boosting of posts, ads etc for models as they will analyze your account there and if there is anything adult related (nude pictures, etc) the automated ad platform may approve your ad but once someone in the business department looks over it they will halt all ads.

Find some decent promoters out there on Twitter to help - anyone who asks anything in return of you isn't a genuine promoter on Twitter. I have a cam model twitter I help with promo @JuiceLizard is my handle.

Some other genuine handles on Twitter to follow and tweet/tag to to grab their attention is :

@JPromotez
@B_More_Horny
@BabesPromo2
@Natuky85
@Boogie_1969
@CamGirlzParty
@LoveCamGirlz
@LofCG

The list goes on, if you need or want a shoutout or to network with these guys just let me know and I will put you in touch of a huge network of people that will promote you for free just to help.

Have a #KICKASS Thursday ladies! :)

Do these sorts of promoters ever actually help models?

Whenever I see someones timeline that is full of tweets with a list like this after every I think its too spammy and dont follow them. Do other people think this way about them or am I on my own here?

I wonder the same thing. That said I have looked over these promoters sites filled with tweets about models, decide not to follow the spammy promoters, but was interested in a couple of models they retweeted, so they worked at least a little.

Of course getting me to follow a model on twitter is a long way from me going to her room and tipping her on a camsite.

They do help build followings, the spam you see is the big accounts exchanging ReTweets with eachother so they gain better reach and other peoples followers as well. There is an option at top right of the page just click and drops down, hit 'Turn off ReTweets' so your feed isn't flled with other krap.

They help build your followers, but they're generally not useful followers. They're the sort that follow spamy porn twitters for free porn pics and don't really buy content/shows.

The best promo comes from other models.

...there may still be an out for them. First off they still have it in the contract they can terminate your account for any reason they wish without notice. So, that's a catch all if they still don't like adult accounts but don't have it explicitly described in the T&C.

But they also still have one single word in there, "improper," which is a synonym for indecent and can also mean inappropriate. So, that leaves a wide open interpretation

And then I didn't read the main twitters rules, but the ads portion mentions you can't violate any other twitter company rules ("Laws"). So if they exist any where else, they can still call you on that...
