Oh golly. I do think it would be good to address the prevalence of porn in sex Ed classes, talk about healthy views of sexuality and how porn can fit into that, but I don't imagine Utah will pioneer that, haha.

"Pornography......"is contributing to the hypersexualisation of teens...."

In the absence of pornography, still gonna have this thanks to teenage hormones.

It's funny how Utah can call Colorado a Nanny-State for banning high-capacity magazines (Don't support that decision) but can justify a move like this. At least they stood behind us during legalization, unlike our neighbors to our east suing our ass and our neighbors to the north and south saying; "We're gonna see how the lawsuit goes before deciding on whether we jump in or not".

Maybe Utah people will start buying Colorado porn while they're in town buying their booze and weed. No complaints there.

Still not as bad as California OSHA though. Fuck OSHA. Fuck the Nanny-State. Vote Libertarian.

California has it's OWN OSHA? Do they have their own postal service too?

Yep, they've got their own OSHA. That's how Nanny-State California is. They're all about protecting their people's health and safety through legislation......Which is exactly why all companies are required to make their products with fire-proof materials containing carcinogens.

California OSHA is one of the major reasons why there's an exodus from California to Florida. I don't think it passed (I really should know this shit, I feel kind of stupid not knowing it) but Cali OSHA had proposed legislation that would require all adult performers to wear gloves, goggles and mouth guards.

.......Which is great if your in the glove, goggle and mouthguard fetish.

In the past they made condoms are requirement for California porn producers. Most of them blatantly ignored it, and Cal OSHA hasn't been doing much to enforce it.

I would hate to see what a Californian USPS would look like. Used to do direct mail for a couple years. I swear half my job was bickering with USPS in North Carolina or Virginia over the contents of the DMM. Other half of my job was making sure all the local postal facilities were aware of any changes to the DMM.

If California were to add their own state legislation to the mix, there would be postmasters who's heads would start exploding.

At least I got very good at reading Federal Registers at an alarmingly fast rate.

No, it didn't pass. And I don't think you can blame Cal OSHA on this one - this (and Measure B, which is the condom law you mentioned) are the results of intense political action from the AIDS Healthcare Foundation, which wastes way too much money on broken politics while ignoring science (you should look up their position on PrEP for example)... And OSHA rejected the proposed regulations since it was obvious they were worse than the current state of affairs and had not been drafted with support from the actual people involved.

Glad to hear that. That was the most ridiculous proposal ever. You'd think they'd be trying to enable revenue over there right now, too.

Being from Utah (hi there!) This is crap. I grew up in the county with this highest teen pregnancy rate and this state sucks balls for anything sex related.

Our sex classes were "health" classes and hardly taught anything. Good thing I knew how condoms worked.

I wonder what it is like to have such a wonderful life, that your largest problem is the thought that other people you do not know might be masturbating. I should start a dating website to match them up with the people that are afraid other people might be consuming things put them in an altered state of mind. I bet they would hit it off.
