Goodday everyone!

I made an account on CB, and during the verification process I came to realize my passport already had been used for verification purposes on this website, it even includes a selfie of me where it looks like someone woke me up in my sleep.

After 2 weeks, CB hasnt replied my email, I requested some information regarding that verification. Has there been payouts in my name? What username is my passport connected to? We are not talking about an account on a supermarket website here, its worries me greatly that my passport has been on this website for years already, without my knowledge. Currently I stream on Stripchat & Bongacams, until this issue with CB is resolved. But so far, after 2 weeks, I havent received any reply at all.

My ex (used to) work for this website, but I cant reach her and she worked alone, without me.

Is there anyone who can shine some light on this issue? Thanks guys!!

This makes me wonder if she had to verify you for her account if you appeared on her stream (by accident or on purpose) and you don't remember doing it.

Correct. Unfortunately I've been given a useless reply and not the information I've requested.

Any chance you know an attorney in the state of California who has experience in this field?
The fact that Chaturbate is refusing to share information with me, causes me to believe my passport has actively been used on this website without my permission.

A industry rep will not give you information on how to get a lawyer to pursue a case against their website. However yes it sounds like someone is using fraudulent i.d if they won't give the information to you.

That seems to be very detailed information. How did you acquire this information, because as far as I know CB wouldn't share those very specific details. I'm just curious.

She was actually employed by Chaturbate, or perhaps you mean to say performed as a model on the platform? If this person was actually employed by Chaturbate, then it's plausible she might have been involved with identity theft and more crimes to which local law enforcement would be interested.

I'm not even sure what kind of a lawyer you need; contract? Criminal? However, you could go to the local police department and report identify theft. The police likely won't do anything, but you could then take the police report to a lawyer (many will offer a free consultation) and see how much they will charge to write a letter to legal@chaturbate.com, because at this point it sounds like you should be dealing with CB's legal department not support.

I'm confused by this post. When I go to https://chaturbate.com/identity/ I can see all the accounts im verified on it shows up under my picture. It says "This Person is in use on the following accounts:"

....oh there's a remove button now that's so cool I never noticed that. I can apparently remove verification from other accounts without going through support? Nice

Edit: on you know what I think it might not show old accounts there

This information is available in the identity section of a newly created account. I will make a police report and contact a lawyer.

What date does it have for the mystery one and what date does it say you signed the agreement?
