Wondering what you guys do when family or friends ask what you do for a living. I'm in the process of starting my own life and getting out but I've got a nosey religious family on my back and I'm trying to think of fake occupations that will satisfy thier questions. Something that involves working from home so they don't ask to see or visit where I work. This is probably a question better suited for the ones who aren't out of the cam closet.

I tell everyone that I code graphics for adult websites. It's enough information for people asking to feel satisfied and rarely do they ask me to go into details. The ones that do ask, well, I tell them that the graphics that I make are for individual use and it's not my place to share them or site details with anyone. I've been using this as my cover story for just shy of two years now and it's worked like a charm.
Alternatively, you can say that you are doing transcription/customer support/appointment setting/etc. from home and you can't have people over while you're working because you can't be distracted.
