You're rolling your eyes. I hoping it's not in response to camgirls explaining their grievances about what this other camgirl did, because it wouldn't make sense to me that you don't see the problem here. Explain...

I find it annoying when a model asks for tips, promises something in exchange, then doesn't do anything and asks for more.
I had a problem with a model doing this, my gf contacted her telling her this was wrong. She banned me.... Shame, she was hot.

-When a member tips a model big and a model posts a screenshot of it on her profile, I find it annoying when another model posts something on said member's profile something like "Hey bb, you should come to my room sometime." They're obviously trying to get a big tip too LOL.

I've seen models go nuts and go absolutely insane when they don't get their goals met. Even if they are 15 tokens shy of their goal. It's funny and at the same time it shows how scary some of the models can be. I mean come on if the model's goal is 10,000 and they hit 9,985. There is no reason to scream, yell, complain, break into a tantrum, throw the mouse, and mainly call the members profane names. It shows no class. It's annoying. I've seen this a few times and I'm sure some of you have seen it too. And what's sad is when a model WILL get 9,985 of 10,000 they say (And I've seen this first hand) "I didn't get the goal, I'm leaving" and next thing you know it they are offline. That is very sad. I wonder what the members who paid out big are thinking when that happens.
They are probably thinking how fucking annoying and stupid it is that hundreds of freeloaders couldn't part with 15 measly fucking tokens to make a show happen that 3-5 of them have mostly paid for because they are so god damned cheap they let a model NOT do a show in order to avoid paying $2 it's expectancy of someone else doing it for them or the model just giving in and just doing the show anyway.
Having less than 50 tokens left in a goal can often be scarier than 400... because suddenly NOBODY want to do it because they are waiting for someone else to... and if a model is forced to actually give up because of that... wow. no wonder she's pissed.

What's more annoying for a premium member than not getting a show goal? Knowing for an absolute fact that you just paid for a show for a bunch of disrespectful assholes. A lot of members feel just as disrespected by freeloaders as models. It kind of ruins the show for the members who paid too when things like that happen.

There have been times that I'm 50 tokens away from a show, my regulars are tapped out and they tipped 95% of the damn countdown to begin with, and I'm sitting there with hundreds of people in my room for half an hour and NO ONE is helping out to finish the rest of it.
50.fucking.tokens.
It's the principle of it. After sitting there for a prolonged period of time and having absolutely no one willing to pony up anything for a show they clearly want to see because they're all sitting there, I'm so incredibly turned off by the situation that at that point I'm probably praying that no one actually tips the 50 tokens because I'm in a sour mood and want to leave.
It's like everyone is saying "I really wanna see this but LOL if you think I'm gonna help, I'm just gonna wait until someone else does it" and then every other person in the room has that same mentality. I am not going to reward that behavior by going ahead and doing the show anyway.

I also don't screw over the people who DID tip either, though. If a new tipper or someone lacking some of my content tipped a decent amount, I'll send them some content. With good regulars, I spend enough of my off cam free time to know that this doesn't bother them at all, and they get their tokens worth in plenty of other ways.
The only people who DO get pissed are people sitting there with their hands on their cocks just waiting, and to be honest I really don't give a shit if they get pissed. Not my problem. If you tipped nothing, I owe you nothing.

Hahaha no way! I totally got it!

This is probably one of the most infuriating situations that can happen on cam, that I got so worked up typing my response I just threw punctuation and grammar to the wind.

Freeloaders say "it's only 50 tokens" tipping members and models say "ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME IT'S ONLY 50 TOKENS!"

And yeah, if a countdown get's to this point that usually means it's also taken a long time to get there. A long time that the model was stripping, dancing, teasing and having an all around good time most likely equal in value to the amount tipped so far. The members who do tip are never getting "nothing"

The best part (and by best, I mean most infuriating) is when a freeloader starts badgering the rest of the room to tip those last 50 tokens WHEN HE HASNT TIPPED A GODDAMN THING! :angry4:

There is literally nothing members do that annoys me more than this.
"C'mon guys, tip her!" nooooOOOOO you don't get to DO THAT
The only thing that's close to equally annoying is "don't forget to rate and admire her!"

I'm sorry.. never really thought of it that way. And truly I understand. There's are times I've tipped only because it is fun to watch and listen someone do whatever they are doing that I think is enjoyable. (I'm not into the whole "cam Show thing") .....But also there are models out there like the title thread states "What is the most annoying thing a model can do?" who will wait until the last moment and back out all of a sudden in a fit of anger. Or get insane and turn on everyone for a few tokens. I mean if the goal isn't met, it's no reason to go haywire. Telling everyone to F-off isn't very nice. I think that berating everyone makes a model look bad. It gives a bad rep to the industry. A handful of models here, on this forum, I've seen and have listened too/watch/conversed with are really great people and I know you all have good ethics not to be one of those whom I talk about. Some models simply say "Sorry the goal wasn't reached, next time" (or something similar to this) Then log off and not go off the hilt. This I'm ok with. I love you all... (most of you)... (in a friendly non-stalking manner)

I gotcha, I guess sometimes it's just hard to understand what one person may see as a reasonable outburst and an unreasonable outburst.

Like for me personally, on the rare occasion that something like this happens I make a big point that my primary annoyance lies in how my friends and regulars who carry the show daily can't get a little help from the lurking masses when it's needed, and that every single person who did not tip just waiting for someone else to should feel bad. I feel like when it happens a lot of people need to hear that's it's NOT OK, and while the world isn't ending people will never change their ways if they are always being handled with kid gloves.

But yeah, totally crazy and yelling at the whole room, including the people who DID try is pretty icky poo.

My little speeches are almost always 100% in defense of my regulars being EXPECTED to do it all and me refusing to let them continue picking away at it without any assistance. I guess I've never seen one of these psychotic outbursts...

This describes my past few nights on cam. I was 35 tokens away from a show, and my all of my regs had contributed so far, then I asked for someone else to contribute so my regs weren't carrying the whole room(70-80ppl). Those 35 tokens sat for THIRTY MINUTES. I had to finally set a timer because it does get unbelievably frustrating. I even offered a spot in my club(which usually costs 666 tokens) to whoever would clear it. One premium had the nerve to say, "Just do the show anyway". I banned his ass so quick it made his virtual head spin. I don't reward freeloading/lurking. One of my regs gets sooo angry when this happens he just goes off. "You freeloading bastards it's only 35 tokens we did most of the work!" I try to calm him down(bitching at guys does not create tips) but I can't say I blame him.

That being said, it doesn't give a model the right to throw a temper tantrum because it just looks bad for all of us. Not to mention someone who may have had their hand over the "Tip" button probably isn't going to tip now. All temper tantrums are reserved for off cam.

As frustrating as it must be, there's never really any justification for a model losing her shit with the entire room when a countdown isn't met. Yelling at individual freeloaders who are complaining about the lack of show despite not having tipped... sure, but berating the room as a whole, not so much.

I'm kinda playing devil's advocate here cos' I'm of the belief that if you're in a model's room and you're being entertained, you should be tipping at least something (I also pay for my music and films, rather than illegally download them for much the same reasons), but if we're going purely by the rules of the site, members are under no obligation to tip, even when there's a countdown. To yell at those members for exercising that right just seems a little pointless (especially when taking into account that it's that "free interactive porn" hook that's responsible for there being so much traffic, and so many potential customers on MFC at any one time).

Let's also remember, models losing their shit because they felt they should have easily made some really high token goal fairly quickly (say like 10k in 2-3 hours) is completely different from models who have seen the same 5-10 people tipping 90%+ of a countdown and the rest sitting there while they have hundreds or more in their room (granted most of those are guests and basics) with no one else helping out.

The first is a sense of entitlement, that they should just be able to make a few hundred bucks in as short amount of time as possible... just because. The second is someone watching the people who are always there and always contributing in some way being taken advantage of by people who just assume those regs will just cover everything anyway.

On adding to the topic, models that let a member or very few members basically control their topics and such simply because that (those) member(s) is (are) the biggest tipper(s) the model has. They let their member or members control how much for any given topic, with the member(s) knowing that it is way too high, especially for the room count, and that since they'll be the only ones really tipping towards it, they can try to get other things off MFC as 'compensation' for how much they've helped her out. Generally tends to really happen to younger models from Eastern Europe who might not understand that the topics are meant only to keep those members in 'control' of the room. So this could be both a member and model thing, truthfully.

Being visibly frustrated is perfectly fine. We're human after all. A little anger is released, the anger eventually dissipates, and that person moves on with his/her life without allowing those emotions linger any longer than necessary. But then there's the raging Incredible Hulk tirade that becomes a problem in itself, which makes said individual look like the ultimate jackass.

I'm a firm believer of "picking and choosing battles wisely." Thus getting excessively riled up over [what should be] a small potato issue doesn't seem worth it. I'll say this: I support models who, now & then, vent frustration at freeloaders and other such irritants, as some emotional release can be justified. As warranted; chastise the freeloaders, trollers, beggers, and unreasonable idiots. However, it's a much different matter when models lose total composure that results in a psychotic rampage, as such a display doesn't exactly win respect from anyone.

I dunno, maybe this should be a new thread, but it's kind of annoying and I'm noticing it more lately...

New models picking names that are extremely close to established models. It'll be like one letter off, or they'll throw in an extra x. I've seen at least four of these recently. I can't tell if they're doing it intentionally (probably) or if they think picking their screen name is like choosing an email address: "Okay, AmberCutie is taken, so I'll go with AmberxCutie." It seems really unprofessional to do that, like a burger joint calling itself MacDonald's. Except if that happened, McDonald's could sue.

And, models, what would you do (if anything) if somebody did this to you? (Or if it's happened to you, what did you do?)

(Note: is it possible to hijack a thread in reverse? Because I think maybe I just did. )

There's a model named LilieMari. It's far enough away from my name, but you can't tell me she didn't try LilyMarie first, it seems like a much more obvious choice than going with LilieMari. :?

There's nothing you can do, really, and I don't see the point in trying to make her change her name either. I guess you could message the model and come off as a total bitch, plus she could still insist on it being a total coincidence...
And I don't think there's that much harm done when there's a model with a similar name as you. It's much worse when graphics and text from your profile get stolen and slightly varied.

I'm so silly about this, I get annoyed when another girl has "Chaos" as her last name, even if her first name is completely different. Because having Chaos as a last name is sooo fucking original.

I realize it's the dumbest thing in the world, and very likely I'm the one that stole it from someone else. I still can't help it! :woops:

Drives me crazy when there are 2-3 of us keeping the room going and 400 watching with there pants down not tipping a dime.

I feel really awful when the room doesn't meet goal or things are dead... maybe I am completely crazy :confusion-shrug: but when there is a small group of regulars and you get some schmuck who knows it and starts saying ... " come out and play " or the like :angry4: :twocents-02cents:

While pulling up my stats on mycamgirl the other day I found an inactive account for a girl by the name of Jolene_Jolene... it was last active back when my model name was JoleneJolene

when i was *really* new.. i tried MissLollipop and it was taken so i ..without a thought did Miss_Lollipop. You know when you sign up for sites and the user name is taken so you add something? i was thinking of it that way. I had no idea who she was, it wasnt a copy cat gesture.

Luckily for me, it was a relatively inactive account - and i think she's now left the industry. If she was camming on a regular basis, i would have changed my name after i realized my mess up.

But yeah, basically I just didn't know anything about camming/names as brands when I started and didn't think twice about using a similar name...

:twocents-02cents: I'll add to this. I get annoyed with members that come onto a model's room and say "I haven't seen you in so long" and "Do you still _____________". They are mistaking this woman for another model with a similar name, and upon research of mine, the other model doesn't resemble this one at all. Are the members watching MFC with their eyes closed? :angry4: :hello2:

This similar incident in Miss_Lollipop room qualifies for more than annoying..
It completely changed the mood in room, and Lacey was performing a very sensual strip-tease that would have made any burlesque artist proud.

It's a tactic that a member will use to see if a model will do something without having to directly ask them to do it. So instead of "Can you blah blah?" it's "I remember you used to blah blah, do you still blah blah?" This should go on annoying things a member says thread.....

and yes MFC, Asians in particular, members watch with their eye closed. I should know I see one every morning in the mirror..... well not really "see" but ya'all know what I mean :p

To not be conscientious of the volume level on one or more of their sound input sources. Music and the "token tone" tend to be the biggest offenders. I'm not familiar with the production aspects of the industry, but I would guess that things like using an external microphone can mitigate any hot audio better than a computer's internal microphone.
