Oh, I agree, but I'm talking about situations when members DID send a message, and the model in this case even acknowledged it, but she offered a video that did not exist.

My list would be:

1. Complaining about everything (her life in general, that people don't tip, that she has bills to pay etc.)

- Does nothing/acts extremely uninterested

- Treating visitors like crap until they tip her

- Unappreciative of tips

- Constantly talking about what she sells

We kinda have to do that, though,at least on public-show sites.

When I was on Chaturbate, that was literally the only way for me to make my countdowns in a reasonable amount of time. I had to talk for two hours straight, encouraging people to hit the next mini-goal, reminding them what I'd do at the next few mini-goals (show boobs, then butt, then do spanks, etc), what the next mid-goal was (guys, we are SO CLOSE to getting my top off!), and what the final goal was (I'm using a new dildo tonight/my favorite dildo/the dildo that always makes me squirt).

If, at any time, I stopped reminding people of what we were going to do next, tips stopped and the countdown hit a stalemate. If I just teased, greeted people, and chatted, I'd be on for three hours and still have my top on. But, if I talked constantly about the countdown, it was cleared and I was masturbating in two hours.

I get what you are both saying. Very annoying tho when a countdown is complete and the model spends most of the show reminding people every minute to tip if you like or stopping to remind you about all the other stuff she has for sale. It's like damn, helped with the countdown so I wouldn't have to listen to any more ads and the shows end up being unfun. Thankfully rare, once countdown is complete most seem to handle their business.

The single most annoying thing for me is play shit music really really loud.

To the point where I fall off my sofa in shock when entering the room. Im straight up and out of there, some music is fine, but I need to be able to hear a. The model and b. Myself think

The shit part is subjective of course but turn it down pls bb!

The shit part barely matters. Honestly, it could be my favorite song/band, and it being at deafening levels will make me never ever come back.

This is basically what I meant as well.

I once followed a girl that I used to tip and one weekend she had a "birthday stream" because it was her birthday, so I and many others gave extra tips that day.

About 3 months later she had another birthday stream because apparently it was her birthday again. And what do you know, a few months later it was her birthday again, so she had at least 3 birthdays that year and every "birthday stream" she got lots of extra tokens from people wishing her a happy birthday.

Perhaps not the worst thing I've seen a model do but still very bad manners and taking advantage of your vistors generosity.

I think that's one of the running jokes (or at least it used to be) that cam girls had multiple birthdays because of the tokens. I don't see it as much these days... I think it only works for girls who don't have a very social room and don't have a core base of regulars who would call her out.

But yeah, definitely a faux pas, for sure.

Yeah, I haven't seen many models do the "multiple birthdays" thing anymore. Now they just have cammiversaries for every month!!!

Found my new pet peeve: studios that give the models a script. ALL the models with the SAME script. I came across several new models on cams.com like that. For example:

Me: hi how are you?
Model: im hot and horny girl in the mood for fun
Model: want to get horny together in pvt?

They could at least come up with a better worded script...

The things models do that'll make me click out or not want to visit again are:
1. A mute room or a room where it's just music playing. Unless there's a good reason they're not speaking, I'm out.
2. Constant selling of them self or asking for tips. I understand it's a job, but it makes me less likely to tip when all I hear every few minutes is something related to selling an item or tipping.
3. Constant PMing or looking at their phone.

1. cannot stand the non-talkers (Olivia is exempt, ofc)
2. you ask outright to be tipped, count on me fucking ignoring you. You make me forget this is about tips, you're liable to be the reason I got shit getting repossessed.
3. Amen

Models who post Twitter messages full of spelling mistakes, on a consistent basis.

"Who wants to buy my hitachi tourcher video?" being one example amongst many.

I forget what site this was on but when I did my "spy on every camgirl ever" research before I started camming I saw a girl that was talking shit about several online models. Really nasty stuff like calling them ugly, sluts, etc. I was disgusted. She should have put less work into bad mouthing girls that were prettier and more interesting than her. She was wearing sweatpants and no make up. She had a goddamn Fran Drescher voice.

My pet peeve when it comes to watching other cam girls is when they constantly check their phones or text - drives me bonkers. The exception is when they have their music streaming from the phone and need to change the song or playlist or perhaps are using a calculator or a quick snapchat.

I also hate when people do this in person when you're hanging out with them, so yeah.

Yes, I agree. But as far as "degrees of disgusting," I may take a differing view than most. My question is, which behavior has the greatest potential for hurting someone. If you find out someone faked a disability, you might be angry/pissed, but how hurt? Romantic fakery has huge potential to hurt.
Nah, that's just being dumb on the guys part. It's a models job (or stripper or anyone else in the sex industry for that matter). She doesn't love you, but it's her job to pretend she does. The same way a retail worker's job is to make you feel welcome and cared for as a customer even if you're the most annoying ass there and they want more than anything to kick you out.

Those are not the same at all. Showing a customer respect and using manners is just being nice. Pretending you love someone is being deceitful and manipulative, and isn't acceptable in any line of work.

Wtf. It's shitty as fuck to pretend to love someone in any situation. Real life or camming. Manipulating someone's feelings like that is messed up and no where near the job description.

I agree...that's why I was responding to the post that basically said models should in the way I did. It's just.....it's lying, but in a mean way, and I don't see why any guy would expect actual romantic feelings and get all pissed off when that's obviously not the case or a model just responds with something like "missed you too x"

either you both didn't catch the comment I was responding to or I misread it....because it was basically getting pissed at models for not having any romantic interest in their customer and sounded like someone getting pissed because the model responded with a sort of quick but polite response. That's not cool to expect of models.

I would say models who don't speak gets to me. In my opinion if someone wants to see a bit of sexual activity they can freely google some porn website. The difference is your suppost to make it feel personal to the people watching you .. greet them coming in , thank them for showing appreciation and tipping you .. have a bit of a laugh to lighten the mood too. If someone was to tip me for just sitting in silence and playing with myself I would say they are wasting their money.

Just a personal opinion.

I haven't been on this forum in months, and this is the first thread I'm drawn too. LOL Annoying thing? Eating on cam or checking your phone on cam. I've watching (but only for a second) girls chewing food like cows chew their cud...ewwwwwwwww and the phone. Check it offline or turn around. Just my 2 cents

What's irksome is when a model teases in private. It's very frustrating when a camgirl undresses slowly and asks a lot of questions. Ladies, if you're topless I'm masturbating. That doesn't mean I don't like it or don't want to see more.

Shockingly, since I stopped getting naked and ramming a dildo in my vag right away, and starting teasing and stripping more slowly, I've had people stay longer. There's a surprising amount of dudes who leave the private the instant dildo touches vag (they don't even give me time to get the head in, fuck), and then I have to go wash my dildo and vibe after only a buck or two. I always ask what the viewer wants to see at the beginning of a private. I used to just get naked and masturbate if they didn't respond, but so many left as soon as I got naked or as soon as I touched myself with my toy, that now I just play with my boobs until they say something. And, whattaya know, folks are staying longer and I don't feel like nobody wants to see me naked, because they only see it if they ask for it, and they don't leave the instant I'm nude, which kills a person's self-esteem if it happens 5+ times a night.

The sudden outbreak of every single model having OhMiBods. Just stop and mix it up a bit, please. I don't want to see that in every single room!

I did a search for this today and yesterday. The 1% or so of models online that were advertising it hardly sound like an epidemic, or taking over.

I clicked "agree" on this although, I also agree that it is a very low percentage but even so, it's led to countless guys coming in my room and "advising" me to get one. I can squirm for each extra tip without a gadget ;)
