Hi..

The problem is the following:

I have a friend who knew a model in my free cams. He liked her and always help with tokens.
He even sent her money (transfer account) .. it's against the rules ...
But now he gave up of my free cams for a while because he feels cheated by the model.
he told me that now she is always sending sms to him .. asking him to help in the top20.

The problem is this, the model promised him meets in real life. It was not to have sex. as friends.lol. He has spent a lot of tokens(350 000 until now i think) .. many promises of skype shows dinners and other things and she don't make anything of that

He is now fed up and think should warn administrators that this girl asked for money and cheated this time.

what models think is better he sent a mail to admin and tell everything?
I know is stupid believe in promises.. but lie a member for win a lot of money.. its bad too..and i know mfc is a webcam model not escort model..
I told him...

350,000 tokens before your "friend" figured out he was being scammed? Can I sell you (uh, your friend) a bridge I own in Brooklyn?

Or is the friend you? If not you have a lot of silly friends!

OP has a number of dumb, rich friends...I want to party with those guys! I bet I could live off of the tokens they spill on the floor.

Only thing I can add is an old saying: "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me."

Your friends probably need to take a step back and take part in some IRL activities for a while.

This better not be about JessyRose again, Amber warned you lol :naughty:

i agree too...

No :-D :-D :-D

I don't know who is the model. he no said the name.. only said this a model of my free cams
but he ask me if is better send email to admin of mfc?

what models and member think of that?

Well, I'd think if someone complained about a model who has managed to get 350,000 tokens from a single member, then MFC would probably send the model a strongly worded email telling them to keep up the good work. (I'm starting to think that my time on here is making me far too cynical.)

(ps- start sending some of your friends to the advertise a model section on this forum; I doubt they'll get scammed anywhere near as much and there's lots of models here who deserve the tokens way, way more  )

true...

well my friend is american and the model is american too. the only thing i know.. and i do not want to know more information
:?

i only ask here because this forum have a lot of models and members with experience.. only.. And i try help my friend.. but he needs to make better choices in your life!!

I think anyone spending on MFC should be aware that models say things they may not mean or will hold themselves too later. If you are spending on MFC or giving to the models presents or monetary gifts I would not expect to ever see them back or expect more then a thank you in return or if promised a thank you photo set/video etc.

I know there are lots of honest models out there who truly appreciate their fans and friends to the clouds and back and show that and hold up to their promises, but for every one of those there are ten models lying to get the best of you, tokens, monetary help etc.I as everyone else would like to think this is not true but it is!

Perhaps your friend should ask the model for a personally made video just for him for all his help and he will call their deal "even" of wanting to meet up.
but I do not know both sides of the story...that is the problem, there is always two sides and who knows who is really telling the truth.

I paid a model for a custom video and she decided not to make it. All you can do is not give her any more money, and hope she feels guilty and makes good on her obligations after a life changing event like you see in movies.

The only thing I can suggest to your friend is to not spend tokens in the hopes of meeting a girl!

I think if a girl were really that into you that she wanted to meet up, she would suggest it and then she would initiate making the arrangements. I suppose some girls would meet up for tokens... I don't know but I still think the best thing your friend can do right now is move on, save his tokens for simply having fun online, and if he really is looking to meet up with someone, there are other sites for that :)

That reminds me............

That is why they are called "Gifts" and "Tips"....you your friends need to man up and understand that ANYONE can scam you if you are willing to put your money before your common sense, real life included....ever have a cell phone company scam ya? ;)

Lol yeah but if you "buy" a video on MFC generally it's done through tips - and yes you can argue they're a gift - but find me a model on MFC who sends the video before accepting payment :p

That was a hell of a lot of tokens over I'm sure a hell of a lot of time. If he didn't realize halfway through what was going on then that is his fault. I'm not saying it's okay for the model to do that! Leading a fella on with a promise of a possible meetup/relationship is just fucking cruel. You should never have to pay someone to be with you. There are some very wonderful, very high class escorts out there that will charge a lot less!
I recently had a back up of swag and some videos to do. I felt really bad but my life got kinda hectic there for a little bit but I kept everyone in the loop. Made sure everyone knew I had not forgotten them.
My suggestion would be for "your friend" to spend more time in a models room getting to know her AND her regulars before dropping that kind of dough. You can come into my room and ask about anything like panties or videos and have multiple guys pipe up and share their experience, and I'm sure many models rooms would do the same.
Scam artists are everywhere but there are a ton of super awesome, wonderful HONEST girls on MFC to spend time with. If he really enjoys cam girls I hope this doesn't spoil his opinion of all of us.
Things can get a little hectic for us at times with prizes and such, but most girls will at least keep you informed.

It's all very well and play lawyer and point out the "tips r gifts lol" in the MFC rules, but a lot that happens in a place like MFC is based on trust and reputation, and the more successful models understand that. Has anyone ever gotten screwed by Amber when she promised pic sets for a set "tip" amount? I don't think so.

I haven't expected a quid pro quo when I tip for a long time, but if I did, I would expect the model to keep her word.

But yes, people lie to other people. The worst of us lie all the time, and even the best of us lie occasionally. And sometimes we lie because the truth would hurt more.

My Bad... I had forgot about the "buying" of pics and vids and such...

I was basically saying that when online, even on Ebay, there is a common courtesy about not lying about what your doing and representing. It's also a Buyer Beware kinda thing, and its one thing to drop 50 tokens and say "That bitch never gave me ______" But to go on forever thinking that someone, who may or maynot have a reputation for meeting up with someone from online (friends or "customer") then be surprised about being out a ton of $ cause you kept handing it out....thats different. Its like crying to the police over a hooker not putting out. Not right on her end, but then again, you have to be responsible for your self and be self aware. If your having a hard time doing that, maybe theres a need to "unplug" for a bit...

le sigh if only i too could find a member as naive as your friend. if only i werent so blunt.

The girls who lie make the most, simple economics... However, many of us choose to be honest and take that paycut- because at the end of the day, you need to be true to your own morals too ;)

That's kind of a broad brush we are painting with, isn't it? There are a number of models who are, uh, associated with these forums who do fairly well for themselves. Anyway, I guess that, if ever I want someone to be honest with me, I should check out Page 3?

not what i was saying AT ALL! just saying that not all models are dishonest! this forum is pretty much full of them. you just have to choose wisely... most models will never meet, and you won't be able to convince them for all the money in the world.. yes, there are some that do. but this isn't a dating site after all. the ones who string you along are the ones to avoid ;)

With the number of threads he's made about naive friends being scammed, my guess is the "friend" is himself, so you could just pm him :p

Unfortunately it sounds like he's broke now though lol.

The moral of this story is:

If you tip a model for something and she doesn't make good the first time, don't tip her again.

Myself, I have trouble with this. It's not intentional; I don't have much free time. So sometimes, by the time I *could make the video, I've forgotten about it. That's why I have this little thing I do:

1. You tell me what you want.
2. I make it and tell you it's ready.
3. You pay for it.
4. I send it.

That way, you haven't paid for it until I've made it. Sometimes, it takes three months to get from step 1 to step 2, and by then he doesn't have the money for step three. In which case, I simply upload it to my clips4sale site (which I was gonna do anyway), and someone else eventually pays to download it.

But then, I also don't do skype shows or meet ups.

Runt. Stunt. Affront. Oh, I got it!!!!

Just because someone is upfront and doesn't sugar coat everything doesn't make her a cunt. :twocents-02cents:

Agree. Plus that word AND the "B" word and similar are never appropriate, IMHO. Even if a particular woman is the most evil person on the planet, misogynistic slurs are never appropriate, because when we use these slurs we're attacking the entire gender. Think about it. If you encountered a member of any other group, and they were "bad" or "evil" or "nasty," etc., is it then appropriate to use the N word or "wetback" or "heeb" or "towelhead" or any of the many other slurs? Attack the behavior, not the group.

The market for "upfront and blunt" is pretty saturated on MFC. There aren't a whole lot of models who can pull it off successfully.
