Edit 7/24/2020: I'm no longer approving new users' post about identifying models. Seek help elsewhere (whether for your inquiry of model ID or mental health.)

Per recent events, I'm just going to post (and sticky) this here. If you're here to post an image that you found online anywhere in hopes we will tell you who we believe it is on a cam site, please note this:

(copied from a recent thread on the topic)

What's wrong with my request ? Is it forbidden ?

Tell me cuz i don't understand why everybody act like that

Your English is pretty good

You asking for the name of model when the video has been quite clearly recorded from a cam site and posted somewhere is not
You're being cheesed a bit because this. happens. every. day.

This is only ONE of the multiple pages in a search of "identify this" and that's only one search term for the many used for this sort of topic:

Screen Shot 2015-09-28 at 3.10.09 PM.png

Twice already today, within an hour or so of each other. It's getting old, ACF members are beyond bored of it, and don't necessarily want to help people "stalk" cam girls. You may legitimately be interested in watching her shows and tipping her, but there are crazies out there who have less wholesome intentions.

I seriously don't know what to do with these threads anymore. Because hey, yeah, if some generous cam site member wanted to find me after seeing an unnamed video of me on pornhub or whatnot, I'd really like them to be able to find my name and come tip me. But not every girl wants that (seems most don't, actually, they don't want those vids out there in the first place) so ACF members don't just jump right in and give out names freely even if they do recognize someone in a pic.

-------------------

So if you still feel like posting your inquiry, at least you know the state of affairs here at ACF regarding the topic. These posts aren't flat-out "against the rules" but this is your forewarning that replies to such posts may be silly, chastising, poking fun at you. Take your chances if you wish.

I'm baffled as to why so many people get uppity about this.

You find something you like, and you go to a forum about said thing to ask questions. That's how it works.

Obviously you wanna check around first to make sure your question hasn't been answered, but in this particular case, it's kinda hard to do that.

And while I understand that there are crazies out there, I think they are few and far between, and it makes no sense to immediately treat everyone that asks a polite question like they're a crazy obsessive stalker.

Just my two cents. I understand that people are annoyed by the same question, but it just kinda comes with the territory. If you don't like it, skip the thread and someone who does want to actually answer the question, if they can, will.

While I get stalkers and crazies are few and far between the fact remains is we have no idea who is and who is not. So giving out info on any girl could be putting her at potential risk and even potential risk is enough to make me never do so. Now yes some of the guys are probably very nice polite guys who want to find and tip a girl but even if I knew the girl they are asking about I would never tell them no matter what they said.
I think these guys are googling something and ACF is popping up because of the abundance of other threads. Would deleting those other threads completely stop ACF from popping up the results and getting these repeated "please help me find this girl" issues? I'm just curious if that would work even or not.

The reason is that it's constant. I think most models know of the woman that was nearly beaten to death by a crazy bastard. I just don't want another unbalanced and violent person to stalk and find a potential victim with my help. BUT THAT'S JUST ME AND MY OPINION.

This is why you can ask your followers post your name and camsite in the "comments" when they find videos of you.

There have been a lot of guys who have rolled through here with what seemed to be personal pics (like they could have been from FB...not at all related to camming) of girls asking for their cam name, which is creepy as hell. I'm pretty sure there was one of these just within the last few days.
So it's not always people who run across recorded camshows on tube sites and take a fancy to the girl.

Have you ever DMCA'd videos of yourself from tube sites?

That just seems like common sense to me. If the guy seems sketchy, feel free to tell him why, but on multiple occasions I've seen guys come in and politely ask about a girl with a clearly capped video from a camsite and people ripped into him for no reason.

You are overreacting by far. This is where common sense and context clues come into play. This is a forum, where people come for information and to discuss things.

Guy makes post asking about a girl, maybe has some selfie photos of her, maybe some basic info, asking if someone recognizes her: Sure, this sends all signs of signals off as crazy, and people in the comment should tell the guy so.

Guy comes in with links to clearly capped shows from camsites (MFC tip noise is heard in the background for instance) and wants to know the username / profile for the girl: I truly do not see how there can be harm here. Obviously we don't know everyone's intent, but this seems just like routine "safe" information to give. Is it harmful when we send members here to ACF when they want to interact with camgirls? Because we're giving people links to @AmberCutie's MFC profile and the likes, since they're directly here on the site.

It's information that could be dug up with enough investigation without any major effort, but coming to a camgirl forum makes logical sense to save time. If he's in a region / state the girl does not want people to view her from, she can region block the area. Sure, there's ways around that, but those are there and easily exploited by anyone.

Someone wants recommendations for new camgirls to view, how is a member linking to those girls' profiles any less "harmful" than linking girls' profiles from capped videos?

I am not trying to start an argument, I am honestly confused by how "harmful" people seem to think this is.

I see the posts with capped shows as a "Hey, I like this product, I would like to see / purchase more of this product. Where can I find said product? Let's ask the forum about said product." and it makes sense to direct consumers to said product.

Is it harmful when I link to the correct camgirl if I see an unsourced picture / gif / video on Reddit or Tumblr? Because I see no difference between the scenarios.

I said i never come back anymore on this forum, but i have to come again and tell you :

Thank you ! You are the first here who understand me ! You say everything i think. :))
Just wanted to know a name to find her cam, and i was like a criminal !

Bye and thank you again.
(I like your profile photo, i think you'll see me soon on your show ;-))

I've never seen a girl in a video and if she isn't credited, thought "I must find her!"

That's kind of a weird instant "bond" to have

But maybe I'm the weird one.. what about you guys? have you ever seen an unnamed girl in a video and been compelled to find her.

With camgirls it's not come up for me, but it definitely has with League of Legends streamers on Twitch. I see a random gif or clip of someone's stream and something about them entertains me and want to learn more and maybe catch them on stream sometime.

I remember a debate I had years ago

Isn't it weird to masturbate over dead pornstars?

A lot of people seemed to think it was the same as enjoying Elvis music, for me it's totally different, I assume you would be in that *it's fine* camp Autumn?

I only put "yep" because I know you wont agree so there's no point explaining anyway

Once anything becomes sexual, for me, it's totally different.

Yes, you can continue to enjoy an entertainer, in all forms, even after their death, in my opinion.

Two that jump to mind.

I don't particularly want guys hunting me down from capped shows. It just, bothers me. Like an itchy, too-tight sweater.

If I found some particularly good capped shows of mine somewhere I might post my own comment/link to where interested parties could find me.
I watermark my clips because I'm ok with people finding my Twitter/clip store via an uploaded clip. I do want them to find my model name in that situation.

For models who don't do these things, I feel like maybe they don't because they don't want to be found so easily and that should be respected.

I'm not a model, so for me it's simply a matter of annoyance. I'm not a frequent poster here, but I read ACF every day, and what keeps me coming back is that it's a community. Then, these random guys, who have no intention of joining the community, breathlessly register and immediately post "ZOMG! tell me who this girl is before I lose my woody!" It's annoying in sort of the same way Yahoo Answers or YouTube comments are.

Maybe it would help to have a waiting period before being allowed to post for the first time.

I said i never come back anymore on this forum, but i have to come again and tell you
For your search, it was obviously recorded (badly) on Chaturbate, so I'll start my search here if I were you, with Europe/Russia filter. She looks Polish, but she could be living in UK too. And could have dropped from camming since it was recorded months ago/

I'll never understand why people are asking that here, it's mostly a model forum, there isn't many "active" customers, you'll have more luck on Reddit or porn forums imho, which drain more people with various tastes.

Asking "who is this girl" is nowhere near comparable to "where'd you get that bracelet?" One is a persons life. One is an inanimate object. So to me it's nowhere near the same thing.

I remember earlier last year here (someone feel free to correct me on the time frame) a guy coming and asking about a girl with capped show pics of her. He made up a huge elaborate story about how he knows she cams and her friend told him she does but would not tell him which site and he just wanted to find her room. No one told him if they did know who she was and thank goodness if they did they kept their mouth shut. This camgirls friend came out and told the truth that this guy was stalker. That he'd been stalking her room, family, friends, for YEARS making her life a living hell and was trying to find her yet again and which site she was now on. This has always stuck with me and is why no matter what a guy says here I will never tell a guy who a camgirl is.

There is no way to know their intent on the internet in any way. No matter how gentlemenly they speak, or what they say. How many girls have had members turn after years of being a seemingly cool member, only to find out they were a wolf in sheep clothing and a nut job. Heck how many girls have had this happen in real life too. You do not know who is a nut job cause the really dangerous ones are good at hiding that shit. So if a guy did come off as wonderful in his initial posting asking about a girl that will never sway me. What, just cause he sounds nice in a post means he must be harmless? No. Crazy people are sometimes excellent at keeping their crazy at bay when they want to. Master manipulators to get what they want and sometimes what they want is to cause harm to someone else in some way. Not always murder but other ways too.

Whether the pics look like private fb ones or they are obvious capped ones from a cam site doesnt matter to me either. A stalker, ex bf, ex friend could have found that stuff and want to find out more info to out her or put her on blast to everyone she knows. Since a lot of girls cam in secret from home imagine what could happen just cause you wanted to be helpful and tell them her cam name or room? Kicked out, ostracized, publicly shamed, etc. Her name now linked to her cam name or site name which is now available on Google and could effect schooling or future careers even. (We all know schools and jobs Google search applicants now.) So you could effect her life for forever cause you decided to be "helpful" to some rando on the interweb.

That's the lighter end of the spectrum but do imagine the other side of if it's an actual dangerous stalker or mentally ill person you just handed out info to. The ramifications of such could end a girls life. I refuse to have that potentially be on my conscience or shoulders. I just can not. I could never live with myself if that happened. Even if it was just her getting outed IRL I couldn't live with myself. That's a terrible thing to have happen and be responsible for. And even just narrowing down a site to someone who is nuts is too much for me to give out.

This may be the extreme side of the spectrum however when making decisions about someone elses life you should be doing that. Thinking of the extreme what ifs you could be doing. You could be taking someone elses life in your hands. Now I do not agree with maliciously trolling these guys who come here asking for help. I'll put in the obligatory Not All Men here. No not all men are crazies looking to stalk the girl. The fact is though we don't and will never be able to know the difference on a forum. Ever. So maybe the best way to deal with it is a simple reply of "Sorry we don't do that here" and leaving it at that.

Even your message is not good for my search lol, i'm agree with you.
And i like your last words. Simply say sorry don't do that here would be better than laughing on me...
I'm not a bad guy and i don't want to do bad things to this girl, but i understand that you don't know me and may be i can be a bad guy.

So i will try my search on another place ;-)

@Teagan Yes. In situations like this, it is best to assume the worst.
