Hello all,

I just joined this forum in hopes of searching for an answer. I know my situation is extremely common and have read a lot of the threads on here, but I just would like to see if there is any updated information or tips on this.
I am a young college student modeling on Chaturbate, trying to save up enough to move out, and I have recently been informed that my shows have found their way onto like 20+ websites. I'm aware that I was extremely naive in thinking these things didn't happen when I first joined, but now I'm just super distressed. I can't help but worry about this every second of every day because none of my family members know I do this and I know I would be the biggest disappointment and shame to them if they did find out. I literally just joined Chaturbate in February and didn't know every single one of my videos from then were posted (and each of them getting more than 3000+ views). I'm so scared for my future and have decided not to cam anymore, but I still can't live with the fact that my videos are everywhere.

I looked through many of the threads on here, which were extremely helpful. I ended up emailing models@myfreecamsmail.com, dmca@chaturbate.com, as well as the general support email of Chaturbate, and I was just wondering if they have a good reply/help rate? I'm just so on edge thinking about all the new views I'm already getting as I'm typing this. If there is any new advice or tips from people who know how to successfully get these videos taken down please let me know. Thank you so much :')

From a fellow model :h:

Hi, I'm pretty new but I've read a lot of posts about your concern and I was faced with the same problem. I think that trying to remove all the copies of your show from all the sites that broadcast it is very complicated. On the well known X site you could make a claim quite easily but on other sites it will be much more complicated. I think that when you start camming, of course you have to take precautions, but also accept the fact that our broadcast will be saved and republished by people on the internet.

Don't let that stress you out so much, the chances of someone you know finding you on those shady recording sites without your CB name are very slim. CB typically has 250 times the traffic those sites do and most of their traffic is people searching for a specific model not people just casually browsing models on there. Now if you find yourself on like xvideos or a big site like that then theres more concern to be had but those sites take DMCA takedowns seriously and will remove the video quickly after the request is made.

There are people that will claim they discovered you on X website but chances are high they initially saw you on CB, googled you to find videos and then claimed they discovered you on X website OR they were the owners of X website and are going room to room saying they discovered you on X website for advertisement purposes.

https://webcamstartup.com/dmca/ and https://webcamstartup.com/fight-piracy/ are good resources to fully read if you want to do the reports yourself but yeah CB will file them for you if you send all the URLs.

Seeing as you're not a myfreecams model, this one will likely give you zero reply.

As for the CB email, they may be able to get some removed for you, but the unfortunate truth is that not 100% of that content will ever disappear completely.

Hey, thank you so much for your reply. I was literally just waiting for someone to comment because this is the only thing I have been thinking about for the past 24 hours. I have read a lot of threads about DMCA takedowns and have come across plenty of DMCA websites. However, the reason why I am so hesitant on proceeding one of the takedowns is because I've heard many of these sites are just scamming you for money and don't have a high success rate. I've read countless reviews about way too many of these DMCA websites and none of them seem trustworthy. I'm just so cautious because I don't want to make one mistake, but I will definitely continue my research. Thank you for replying :h:

Okay, thank you so much for your very thorough reply :h: I have checked out both of those websites already, but I'm just super hesitant on paying for a DMCA service because I've just heard so many of them are scamming you, don't really do much help, leak your private info, etc. I definitely have found comfort in your words though; you gave me some reassurance by saying that most of the viewers on these websites are specifically searching for an actual username. I will continue to do my research and see if there are any guaranteed DMCA services that are safe and secure. Thank you so much.

Hi AmberCutie, thank you so much for responding so fast! Okay yeah, I didn't realize the email I sent was only for myfreecams models, so that will probably be a no-go. And with Chaturbate, I've just seen countless tweets and threads saying they don't even reply back (I'd be really lucky if they did respond to me), so I'm not that hopeful in getting a response back from them. I think as of now, the only thing I can do is do a Google DMCA takedown, even though I know my actual content wouldn't actually be removed. But thank you, again for the swift response :h:

Don't pay a DMCA service just do it yourself if you have the time just make sure to read those resources completely first so you know how to go about it.

when filling out dmca takedowns, put the site where you first broadcast's contact info. dont ever put in identifying information. some of those sites like to doxx.
Wait sorry I have one more question. If i do fill out my own dmca takedown, is there a possibility I get blackmailed or they find my private information even if I dont share my legal name?

thats always a possibility of being on the internet in general. dmca or not. make sure you arent posting the same photos on your private social media and camming profiles.

recommend reading this thread:

Honestly don't waste you money on takedowns. There was a quite renowed model that I know that quitted CB to work only on Onlyfans, and she decided to make a big cleanup or her streams and private leaks from CB. She spended around 12000usd for that clean up, and litteraly a week later all those videos were reuploaded on the same sites.I don't want to distress you even more then you are, but what has been uploaded once, will never dissapear from the internet.

On another hand there is no reason for anybody to google your nickname, if you have streamed so little time, and never revealed it to anybody. Your videos will be just borrowed by terabytes of new recordings in litterally a few days.

I sometimes wonder on savemycam to check recordings of my CB streams from 2017-18. Gosh how bad i was at start -_- I would litterally die from shame if my current members find them. And despite all these recordings since years nobody that I didn't ever find me there.

Damn what the f*ck!! That's just so sad to hear, damn... I guess you're not wrong though, it would be naive of me to think people don't have that power to keep reuploading.

Yeah. It's probably a waste of money and time trying to get them taken down. You're never going to get them all. You can't remove them from people's hard drives. They'll just get re-uploaded reversing all the progress you made. I wish I could tell you something better. But you just have to come to grips with your content being out there.

[…] I sometimes wonder on savemycam to check recordings of my CB streams from 2017-18. […]

Do they really have the videos they advertise? I was pretty sure that s-my-cam and some other sites with similar site design (cbc2c, rec2018, many-rec, wcrecs etc) were primarily or only credit card fraud. I once tried to investigate a bit because they advertise to have recordings of private shows from me (as a viewer), and that would have bothered me extremely. But all I found out was that they always only post screenshots that were public thumbnails on chaturbate before a private show started, there was not even one screenshot from a private show (they mostly had published the last public chaturbate-thumbnail before the private show started [the thumbnail that remains on chaturbate for an hour or until the model returns to public mode]). Also the duration times never were correct, and also they advertise private records even from days when a model didn't do any private show. I didn't dare to register because even the "free trial" is only possible with credit card data. And in light of the above findings, I was sure that they did not have the advertised private records, but that the site was just a scam to access credit card details.

So long story short: Are you registered there and do they really offer what they advertise?

Hi,

I am just some dude who has admired so many women across so many webcams for so many years.

And I've seen all sorts of personal violations... along the lines of some anonymous viewer publishing in the Chaturbate chat the name and address of a performer, during her first-ever cam show... and somebody publishing the full personal Facebook page link, merely from googling a Chaturbate model's username.

And as someone who pays lots of attention to detail, I have a strong sense for how many models just leave without a trace... and often it isn't until the occasional update of my large "(models followed)" list that I realize that somebody hasn't been around for a month or more.

SO... now and again I am reminded of the names of the people I've witnessed being so violated online... and I can report that one (dreamy) young woman who brazenly broadcasted from her college dormroom, with some familiar campus structures visible out the window behind her (to those who knew the area - not to me), and whose personal Facebook/Instagram ID was published in her room on her 1st or 2nd Chaturbate broadcast, resulting in her abrupt exit that day... has successfully erased her image from the web, even though there had been some pretty appealing videos of her in full nude masturbation mode floating around in various spots.

Admittedly a key to ever finding them would be her self-selected chaturbate nickname... so it is kind of tricky to decide which way to go, when selecting that nickname:

do you go completely raunchy, to get attention in the moment?

do you go very bland and easily blended-in (to help preserve anonymity) ?

do you go considerably "unique" to your own personal world... which will have the drawbacks of possibly helping others track-down your content later on.

At any rate, all models who embark upon a webcamming career should *expect* (as the rule, not the exception) that their nude images will indeed permiate the internet, at least for a time.

(oh, I just thought of another (buxom) young woman who was 18 and still in high school when she began at Chaturbate... and she raked it in immediately... and later she finally quit...

and there were a few stray videos of her nude form out there in internet land, but they too have evaporated from my vast-enough awareness of what's out there, to have me thinking she's pretty safe (again) ).

One thing at work NOW.... that wasn't working in webcam models' favor a decade ago when Chaturbate first started...

is that same HUGE INFLUX of porn material... what with the creators (stars) of the porn having a much better line toward being the ones getting the most cash reward for their porn... instead of the porn masters of old... there are more people entering the porn market who are creating more and more content.

Also, with economic times having widened the divide between the "haves" and the "have-nots"... along with webcam technology easily incentivizing models from the world over... there is just more and more good porn out there and entering the internet realm every day.

BUT... the boys you went to high school with... are and will always be STILL the same...

(when they sense you REacting in shame to their having encountered your online nudes... they will pursue and pursue just to get that ""reaction"" from you)

So while lots of truly successful long-term models crossed these bridges years ago... (that they "don't care" )... it is good for others to have a PRE-programmed response which strongly/clearly implies their SEEMING NOT to care (that some dude who sat 2 rows over in High School Geometry found her nudes online)... upon being confronted BY that Geometry classmate.

I'm sure you'll hear from lots of other models... who surely pay complete/plenty-of attention to their OWN content, and to whether it gets 'out there' ...

but I hope it helps in some small way to hear from a Chaturbate afficionado who notices the small details, and who knows his way around the online porn world...

who tells you that although there must be zillions of small dust-ups where some random person found some hint of one's online nudity (otherwise the CB turn-over rate wouldn't be anywhere near to what is steadily seems to be)... the instance of innocent-ISH young women who once spent time on Chaturbate AND WHO were NOT comfortable-ish with their nude images being all over the online porn world... AND WHO are still, after a year or two finding their content easily unearthed by eager neighbors/classmates/coworkers... is considerably minimal COMPARED TO WHAT somebody considering only human nature, and their own personal seeming peril, would tend to expect.

I could even name a present-day Chaturbate model of at least 6 months for whom an online search of her Chaturbate username unearths ZERO nude content... (she is someone who ONLY bares it all in 'pay-to-see' shows)

She draws a decent crowd in the open rooms, but I guess those who are recording such content wouldn't be bothered with the private shows since there are so many other available content-makers who are showing it all in 'public' chat.

Hope this helps your confidence just a little.

Hey, thank you for sharing your experience with me! Sadly, most of the websites that I'm on do really have the full length videos from all of my recordings without having to pay or anything. And the ones that do just have screenshots on the thumbnails are honestly not even any better because they show my face, fully nude and like pleasuring myself. I guess I was naive to do things in public that I should've left to do for when I was doing private shows :/ definitely my own poor decision-making. But yeah, thank you for sharing anyways!!

omg hey, thank you so much for like such a thorough response, I like didn't expect that at all?? You providing your own in-depth experience with observing the details on Chaturbate really gives me a new perspective on this. I guess you're right, like I guess it really might not be as frightening as I'm putting it out to be because they do need my Chaturbate username to look me up. At the same time, I do realize that I have given out some personal information in my recordings that definitely could be used against me and that's just super scary to think about. But you really gave me good advice in saying that it's worse to show that I'm scared or that I care. I guess I'll try to navigate this as best as possible and not freak out the way I have been haha. Thank you for giving me your perspective!

Hey there,

I use cam model protection and they've done amazing. Seriously suggest them for peace of mind 😌

In the bottom of internet there is huge amounts of information about us all. Yours will be very difficult to find in about two weeks after you quit. You have to know your name as a model or win in lottery. I would not be very concerned that someone you know finds your photos or videos. And you can always claim that they are fake. Making fakes is very easy today.

How long do you think the odds are that a member of this forum might have had a model 'friend' outted within the last few weeks?

I have lost so many models who I really adored to this issue. They end up finding the recordings, freaking out, and quitting. Or alternately they end up the target of blackmail and then quit. The models I follow are Russian, and the Russian girls have it the worst. There is a search engine in Russia that you can feed a photo of any Russian model's face, and the search engine matches the face to any social media photos that match the same facial details. The search engine is uncanny in its precision. That kind of intrusion is going to start popping up in the West too. Things are heading towards a zero privacy society, where any oddball will be able to snap your photo in a supermarket and then find out almost everything about you without your permission, just by running the photo through special search engines. Even when I warn Russian models in advance about this, they just ignore it. Then when it happens to them they realize it is a very serious problem.

Just to be clear, once your videos appear on pirate webcam websites, you can never remove those videos. Those sites for the most part ignore DMCA requests. The point of DMCA is to get the photos out of the search engines like Google. What you end up with in the end is content that hopefully no one can easily find, but the content is still on a public website. Once you go down the DMCA path, you end up having to go through many cycles of takedowns, because the videos will keep appearing for a while.

If it were me, I would do the following:

1) If the account had a very unique name that was easily located by a Google search, I would probably abandon the original account, unless I had a huge number of followers. Then I would go down the DMCA path to get that account as sterilized as possible. By abandoning the account you are not creating new content for it, so hopefully it just ages out over the course of a few years.

2) I would create a new account, but I would choose a name that is so generic that when it is entered into Google the very last thing Google is going to match that to is your webcam model account. If your webcam model name is unicorngirl467979, that is a very specific string, and a search in Google for that is going to find you at the top of the search result. If your webcam model name is sexy_girl_petite_blonde (all generic words), there are going to be pages and pages of matches to those keywords before your video shows in the search result.

3) I would find a disguise that can fool facial recognition software. That would take some experimenting, but I strongly suspect that some black chiffon cloth draped over the eyes might be enough to disguise the geometry of your eyes/nose/mouth that facial recognition uses to match your photo. I would not expose my face to anyone. Good luck getting anyone to follow through on this....

4) I would incorporate "hidden show" software into my CB shows and perform any sensitive flashes or shows only as a hidden show for any viewer who paid more than N tokens during the show. The number N does not matter. The point is to interrupt the software that automatically records your show. Make the parts of your show that are not hidden boring enough that the vendors who record the video are not incentivized to show it widely.

Older post but, yes, they do. At least for a model who I know well. I used a couple of the sites to create a bunch of vids for her. She wanted some to sell in her Cb room and that was the easiest way I could think of to get a good collection quickly.

I was reluctant to sign up too and would be. I used a virtual credit card number that I could cancel after I grabbed what I needed.

Generally, if they show the preview photo, then they have the video to go with it. How long and what part of the day varies. On the subject of this thread, a few were not available because of a takedown request that the studio made at one time for some of her older content. But later content after that was there. So apparently they honored the takedown for content up to that time, then they just continued to capture her stream and added more after. ; )

Quick aside: what product are you using that lets you create virtual card numbers for each vendor you do not trust?

I think for that one I used an iPhone app called Privacy. It was kind of clunky but it did work. Now that I think about it, I believe that was debit card-based only. Not sure that I really trusted it all that much either. lol But I took a chance and I've not had any problems with it beyond that.

Some credit card companies (Citibank, Wells Fargo) provide that as a service. I have a Citi card that I've used that for some more normal subscription services that I don't want to renew. Didn't want that tied to me that way though in this case.

I'd guess that you probably could use one of the prepaid cards too. I don't like those much since I had an issue with one once. It's virtually impossible to get any kind of support if you have a problem (refund that doesn't appear back on the card, etc.).

Also kind of appropriate for this thread, coincidentally the same model is looking to get out of it now and clean things up. So she's put a DCMA logo in her stream for the last few days. I told her that it would make no difference. Sure enough, I just looked and they've captured the stream with the logo in it.

I am paying for DmCA years now, they took lots videos off , but there are some sites that not dmca not chaturbate can to take them of, and i got used with this recordings beeing part of my job that now i dont bother anymore .
