OBS streaming YUY2 vs MJPEG?

Short question : which one and why? I have feeling that yuy is more soft and look better but no idea why so pale on main page when i see my own thumbnail. Mjepg is more hmm contrasted but i have feeling that thumnbail on chaturbate looks more hmm powerful ;D any ideas?

From what I have read, best to stick with mjpeg over yuy.
Still messing around with things eh, never happy with good stream you have already?

Nooo im never happy haahaha But I decided to choose mjpeg and 1 fact and my observation:
1. fact: "
Motion JPEG (M-JPEG or MJPEG) is a video compression format in which each video frame or interlaced field of a digital video sequence is compressed separately as a JPEG image.

YUY2 Video Picture Encoding. Description. A digital, color-difference component video picture format identified by the FOURCC code YUY2. This format employs 4:2:2 chroma subsampling with each sample represented by 8 bits of data.

So, the difference is that The MJPEG codec uses more compression, resulting in a higher frame rate and a lower quality image. The YUY2 uses less compression, resulting in a higher quality image and a lower frame rate."

2. My observation: when i stream in close up yuy2 is better,more soft and "dlsr " closer but when i stream in my new view position more in zoom out , yuy looks pale, poor and without " mrrrrr" and mjpeg gives me " mrrrrrrrrr" and also thumbnail has more "character"

Yea i was gonna quote something like that but figured the link explained most of it instead LOL Streaming is seems you would want higher frame rate over low thou, and better picture over lower, which is hard to do when both those are opposite in a way. Suppose when it comes to picture taking and stuff, yuy2 wouldn't be an issue then, giving you a better still picture. So i guess two different settings for two different situations LOL

It does suck when we get our brains over active like that, but does make for exciting times to follow i suppose then, just if you could sleep normally first LOL
