If you have a model added as a friend (I'm thinking about MFC, i don't know if other does have that), does it bother you if models say hi when you login? Is it polite or creepy?

If I'm a regular to that model or we've known each other for a long time, I wouldn't mind and would quite like it. On the other hand, if I only visited a time or two, I'm probably not logging in specifically to talk to them. It becomes a bother because then I agonize over whether to ignore them, spend time in small talk when I want to focus elsewhere, explain that I won't be visiting or logging out. That's just not something I prefer to deal with!

Question! How "useful" is to you that the model you like has a social media account? Do you go see what time she's going to be online, for example? Do you care that she posts about what she's feeling or doing and so on? (Eta; I'm saying "she" because that's the majority of the forum but ofc I'm referring to any model).

And another one: do you often buy vids or subscribe to the only fans page of a model you like to visit and chat? I have the impression that the members who buy content are usually different from the ones who watch the streams, but lately I've been seeing an overlap. How do you guys feel about this?

If you purchased custom content from model and she gave you turn around time before you tipped such as “up to 7 business days” or whatever, would you message her before end of agreed time line to check on it? If so, what members trying to achieve when asking “how’s video going?” or if she made video already? Do you believe this will accelerate delivery of custom content?

I payed for a custom vid back in October and completely forgot about it until I received it last week on my B-day. She did not know it was my b-day, was just random chance.
Otherwise no, myself, I do not ask. Once things are agreed on and payment is made, sit and wait. Then ask 'how it's going' after the set time-frame.


(I guess I need to start asking how it's going more often now? ? )

Not usually. But if the model is obviously ill or wearing a cast or splint I will often tip more. "Empathy tips" I might call it. And I have been known to tip enough to give the model the day off, to go home and/or get to bed. But if I am asked to do that time and time again, night after night, then It's time to leave.

I cammed when ill with Covid, I'm from a 'carry-on' type upbringing I couldn't meet my in-person commitments so had time to stream. I didn't have a cough, I did have a high temperature, headache, burning sinuses, surprisingly it didn't affect my looks I was really surprised I just looked normal. Used a painkiller sparingly. I cammed, made videos, took photos rested (stopped my physical training for a few days and slept much). I had an amazing 4 days then crashed a little.

When I told customers they expressed disbelief, a few questioned my testing, a few told me it must be hayfever, a few said 'Covid has gone, it's not around'. Many were concerned, wanted to know I was ok. This was last summer. Interestingly similar reactions by my real life clients especially regards my testing (I tested everyday and was careful with the tests(first positive I repeated).

Anyway I seemed to do ok tip and privates-wise everyone seemed fine once they'd gotten thriugh their momentary initial reaction. Point of my story I'm thinking customers get on with it once initial concern expressed.

1. It can make me wince if it’s constantly blurring and un-blurring. It’s unpleasant to the eye. I guess it depends how often it refocuses and how jarring the blur is.

2. Shaking bothers me if it’s constant or if it’s only during an activity (since activities are usually the part of the show you’d hope people are paying attention to). Example: I’ve seen models occasionally that have a camera loosely mounted to something sitting on a desk. Then they’ll put their feet up on the desk. Any slight movement from that point on causes the camera to shake up and down. At that point, my eyes couldn’t focus on the show even if I wanted to.

From a user POV autofocus is only a problem when it decides to go out of focus

Camera shaking.. for me is very annoying if it is a lot and continual.

Any excessive movement that detracts from a clear view of the lovely body on screen is annoying to me. I once chanced upon a room where the model literally (and I know the meaning of that word) did not stop moving for more than maybe 3 seconds. Not dancing. She was seated and continually changed her position / rearranged herself every few seconds. I have no idea why. It could not have been ants in her knickers, as she was not wearing any

I was trying to be unbiased in my initial questioning but that was exactly what was happening. She just never stopped moving in an erratic manner and her camera was bouncing like it was a game of jax.

Autofocus is horrible. I've lost count of the number of models I've seen waving a hand in front of the camera to regain focus.

From a personal point of view, I own a Microsoft webcam and a few years back they stopped producing separate software for their webcams and moved all of the settings etc into Skype. Not only is this annoying because you need to use Skype, every time there is an update to Skype it seems that the settings reset to the default and I have to disable the autofocus again.

Similar to when a rock band ends a concert with “we love you all” or “we love you Cleveland!”

I interpret it as: I appreciate you being here, spending time and money to see my show and being a well behaved, enthusiastic customer. I interpret it as a gesture of appreciation for someone being a pleasant member of the audience (preferably spending money, but at minimum, being cool and respectful).

I do NOT interpret it as a reason to start an ACF thread called “am I being played” or some such.

If it is exactly like that, it means nothing to me. I'd take it as a "cam" throwaway line of appreciation/ acknowledgement.

Actually even if a person I actually knew in real life said it (including relatives), it would mean nothing to me (I like proper grammar for sincere statements )

Not dismissive as such, or I am not being 100% dismissive of it, but for me, I would prefer a heartfelt "thank you".

I guess it is a combination of my preference for correct grammar in communications and also the number of models I saw during my early years who throw out "I love you" too freely.

Hmm, for me to know that she hardly ever says those things, I'd need to be familiar with her. In that case i'd try to figure out if it was sincere or if it was just a new mode of communicating with viewers that she was using.

If I was *very* familiar with her (and therefore she with me) I'd probably tease her about using "ya".

ETA if she actually said "I love you" I would worry and try to figure out exactly what she meant, as to me those three words mean a LOT and should not be just thrown around willy nilly.

It's a good question. It depends how it's phrased I suppose.

"Love ya" seems quite casual, although not necessarily dismissive. The use of "ya" makes it a bit jokier and not to be taken as a declaration of undying love.

However, I see lots of models (and members) using "I love you". I don't necessarily think it means that anyone is actually in love with anyone though. I only ever visit Latin American models and "Te queiro" is used a lot, which is like a form of "I love you" (literally I want you) which is slightly lesser and very distinct from "Te amo" which is romantic love. The subtle difference between the two leaves less room for misunderstanding in my view.

just that. A token phrase of appreciation, nothing more. Depends on context really, when it was said, how it was said, etc. IF it's just a random "love ya", then it's probably the same when a friend says that to you. HOWEVER, not all dudes are wired the same, there's a lot of guys out there who will interpret any form of appreciation as something more.

Chances are high(er) that viewers take that by word the more of these things come together:
- viewer is young(er) and does not have much experience with cam sites and/or women in general
- viewer does not have much self-esteem
- viewer visits a/the model often/regularly
- viewer gets the "love you" often/regularly
- viewer gets "kisses" from the model via camera often/regularly
- viewer is emotionally connected to the model
- viewer is getting this experience in a room which does not have many viewers besides him
- viewer has a connection to the model outside of the room (snap, whatsapp, insta, ...)

Take all of that on the opposite and chances are very high that the viewer(s) will not take it word for word and put not much into it.
