Oh that's a good point, it's gonna get slick. Hmmm.

I need something curved, relatively stiff, and with a handle. I'm on the prowl but not having a lot of luck so far. I get a TON of requests in private to use a dildo and they basically want to watch me fuck myself for like the whole time. My hands be small and my arms be short, so doing it for ages with a standard suction cup hasn't been ideal. Not only am I uncomfortable, I feel like that translates on screen because my poker face is shit.

Thanks for the tip about slick glass, I wasn't thinking about it lubed up >.>
I was going to recommend a wooden dildo I knew about but it's been discontinued. And then I remembered this exists:

I have a Lush. Two, in fact. I'm well aware of the supposed benefits and invested in the toy for that exact reason. I expected it to increase my earnings, but it hasn't given me the money that everyone else is getting from them. I'm not sure why. I will have it in all stream and no one gives a shit. No one tips specifically to control it and no one cares about my reactions when they tip for something else and I moan and say "oooo my lush" or whatever. I've even had requests for me to take it out so they can watch me fuck my pussy with a dildo.

I'm not such a silly goose that I was under the impression that glass could respond to tips. That's not what I want it for. I was sympathizing with Vixxen about fucking thyself because I, too, dislike it and I'm hoping the curved glass dildo will make it physically easier when they want to see something going in and out. I have small hands and have a difficult time gripping the suction cup base and balls of a standard dildo, plus my arms are short and I have a belly. So I find myself switching hands quite often and getting tired quickly when a user in a private show basically only wants dildo fucking and I'm doing it for 10+ minutes straight.

If someone wants the Lush, I have it and can connect it pretty quickly. But it's not Lovense or die for me because my audience doesn't seem terribly interested aside from a few people (and I do mean a few, as in, I can count them on one hand).

I can totally relate to your frustration, and I think the key takeaway here is something a lot of cam models learn over time: the core of attracting tips is not just about the toys or the performance itself, but about the connection you build with your audience.

It’s true — many viewers are not just into watching toys move in and out, they’re there because they enjoy you. They like your voice, your personality, how you express yourself, and the vibe you create. It’s about building a connection, not just showcasing toys.

Here are some things you might consider:
  1. Develop Your Personal Brand: Focus on what makes you unique. Whether it’s your voice, your personality, or even your sense of humor, these are the things that make people want to come back and engage with you regularly. It’s not just about being "sexy" — it’s about being yourself and having confidence in who you are.
  2. Interactive Games and Engagement: As you mentioned, Lovense has great features like games that you can use to interact with your audience. Try turning your live shows into fun, interactive experiences that go beyond just the toy. Let them get involved in the action! Play games, set challenges, and make your stream more of an experience than just a show.
  3. Be More Than Just a Performance: The toys help, but you are the main attraction. People are often willing to tip because they genuinely enjoy your presence and what you bring to the table. Focus on engaging with your viewers in a personal, authentic way, and they’ll feel more connected to you. Whether it’s chatting with them, responding to their requests, or just being yourself, this connection can make all the difference.
  4. Experiment and Adapt: Every audience is different, so don’t be afraid to try new things. Maybe the Lush isn’t resonating right now, but you might find another way to engage or a different interactive toy that works better for your viewers.

At the end of the day, it’s about crafting your persona and keeping your audience engaged with YOU, not just the toys. That’s where the true connection and tipping come from.
Good luck, and keep building your unique vibe!

You joined yesterday and you're telling us how to do our jobs? That's...crazy.
Before joining this forum, I’ve been spending a lot of time learning and gathering information, and I just wanted to share what I’ve picked up. I’m not trying to tell anyone how to do their job — I’m simply offering insights based on what I’ve learned so far.

Everyone has different experiences, and I believe there’s always something to learn from one another. I’m here to grow, and I appreciate any feedback or advice you might have as well! 😊

Best way to get insight and grow knowledge of this industry is to do it yourself.

You'll forgive us jaded old masturbators for not loving someone outside and brand new here for speaking so confidently about things they've merely read about or witnessed rather than experience for themselves. ;)

Um...thank you I guess. I'm not sure why you're treating me like I was born yesterday or haven't researched a single thing about camming, but these are helpful tips nonetheless, even if they were written by chat GPT. (the em dash is giving you away babes) Appreciate your time and hope you have a great day :)

THANK YOU. Their response was also written by chat GPT, check out all the em dashes.
the amount of AI generated posts here in the last year has made me feel nauseated lol

The balls on that person to talk to me like I've never Googled a thing in my life while simultaneously using ChatGPT to mansplain that glass can't react to tips and how brand building works....I just....cannot. This is my nice face. I'm trying to be nice.

You can be firm and nice. Or you can be firm and not be nice because if it was someone offering to stick something in their orifices they'd want a million dollars to do it and no one to watch.

I'm trying not to get banned from this forum because I have a bad habit of snarking off and getting banned pretty much everywhere. RIP to my reddit account

You can be snarky. I mean I'm not Amber and I have no real authority here just experience dealing with support and tippers and viewers on CB, but we're pretty much allowed to speak freely. You can go through my post history to see what I mean. I'm very um "not gonna hold your hand" mentality because no one did it for me and I think younger broadcasters are so used to being coddled that it just drives me insane that "no" isn't a complete sentence to them.

Frankly speaking, I wrote it by myself and let ChatGPT help me optimize the sentence, because English is my second language; I would like to share better expressions without grammar problems. I hate ChatGPT-generated posts directly too.

chat gpt is also not great at human english, it will take what you are trying to say and twist it, or mis the meaning of what you are trying to get across.

Honestly you're better off just using Google translate
