Hi all

I thought i would write some thoughts down as i've run out of tokens for this month.

First I want to say a big thank you to all the models who put in so much effort to their streams

And another thank you to everyone that tips these models.

Now I must confess that I started out as a freeloader, watching streams without tipping.

Then 1 christmas i bought myself some tokens as a gift to myself

I must say these sites are so much more fun with tokens. But there are plenty of times of disappointment. As im sure there are for the models too

At the moment im spending 2000 USD a month. Would I like to tip more, hell yes. Would i like to tip less, hell yes.

Would I have bought tokens without the free access first. I doubt it.

So thank you for putting up with my freeloading. And a huge thank you to those models who were willing to chat with me even though i had no tokens and had never bought tokens. In return I spent thousands of tokens on you. You deserved everyone and more. And those models that ignored me or banned me, I respect your decision.

Yeah. It was a close call but the moving tale he wove about how he'd changed models lives with his generous tipping got me over the line in the end.

For what it's worth, I am sure most people who are new to cam sites start off as a freeloader. Some may be for a day or 2, some maybe for a few weeks or months. I too was one for a few weeks then bought tokens. My reasons were for not wanting to spend money were because "hey everyone else is spending getting the women naked, why should I waste my money - I am not rich?" as well as being nervous and apprehensive about it being fake or something.

But eventually I did think "screw it, let's try it" and I never looked back.

You're very brave to admit your reason like this I respect the honesty. I figured most just were wary of spending money on a porn site because "what if my wife finds out" or "what if my credit card info gets stolen" or even "I'm just waiting til next paycheck". It is worth noting that not all big tippers are wealthy either, but you probably figured that out by now....

I feel I can admit it because that was my mindset at first until I tried and enjoyed being able to myself. I feel many probably have this mindset to begin with - some will do as I did, but sadly most will remain with that mindset.
I can also admit it because that seems like many moons ago now when I first found Chaturbate

to add the apprehensive side of it for me was that mentality of "it seems too good to be true, no way can they be real women". Since it was all new to me and the first time I had seen it, except for popup ads from places advertising the sites.

On SC I get 25140 tkns at the best rate or 18000 tkns at the worst rate

I believe models get 5 cents per token if they work for themselves, probably half that if they work for a studio

Im online everyday and I try to spread my spending evenly

I think you're worrying or focusing too much on how much the models get and trying to spread it out. Just visit who you like and who you really enjoy your time with and spoil them each day. Don't worry about how much they are getting and then increasing/decreasing your spend with them based on it, just find the fun that you like and enjoy


I don't know how many models you are spending on, but selecting a handful that you really like is the best thing to do for both you and the models.

It's fine and good to keep track of your spending, i think many of us do this (including myself) but you don't need to analyze everything on a model basis. The more you focus on the maths side of it, the less fun you will have - stick with your budget of course.

Independent models don't lose anything -- you do. 1 token is 5 cents all day long (if we stick to $USD math) and all we care about is those nickels stacking up.

I cannot stand it when someone is all up in my token counts which is why no one but me is aware of how many goals I've cleared on any day.

Models receive 5 cents regardless unless they are with studios, so it's us users/customers who are paying the site, not the model - as Vixxen said above.
I don't understand why everyone tries to focus on this and says the model is losing out etc.

You have to remember they are on a site being protected, getting the traffic and so much more. So they are not losing out on anything. The only ones really affected are studio models, but even they are useful sometimes for the models (many bad ones but many good ones).

If it's on CB, we have a lifetime count on their user name drop down. It's also broken down by hour, day, and two week increments.

Model A: we spent X amount of time chatting. We spent X of that time in private shows where I spent X amount. I tipped you X amount in public per week/month/day.. I used the tip menu in your room X amount of times, and of those times I tipped for Show Boobs 10 times, Show pussy 50 times, stan up 1000 times, etc

Model B: repeat

As NotYou said above, you should be visiting less models if you're stretching yourself so thin that they're not getting what they deserve in tokens for their work. At best you're stressing yourself out needlessly, but at worst you could be insulting them. When I was a newer model my ideology was that a token was a token and better than nothing at all but really, just getting table scraps because I'm not as "enchanting" to them as other models or whatever, *is* more insulting than if the viewer just didnt watch me at all and focused on their favorites, i think. It opens up the opportunity for a viewer who does love my show the best to earn my attention and tip more consistently than the previous person was able to. And idk how to say that in a way that doesnt seem condescending but I really dont mean it that way. I dont think being broke is a moral wrong, we're in a global recession, but you have to be realistic with yourself about what you can swing on entertainment.
