Hello,

I manage a Porn tube with near a million visits by day... i would like to promote more CamGirls on my site to have fresh content... i think a lot of you have already done that and i would like to know the Good or Bad point to upload video content on a Porn Tube.

My goal is to send you a lot a visitors, earn money via affiliate commission when possible and maximise your visibility on our Tube and network :)

I wait your answers, ideas....

Thanks

Cut out the middle man. Make your own porn. Put it up for your own free promotion and see if that sweet affiliate money rolls in or not.

I am not sure to have understood everything correctly, you mean :
Don't use a porn tube, because it's a middle man and they take commission and do everything by yourself ?

I can understand that but....
If i search for your username on Google, i find Twitter first and MFC second... so effectively if a porn tube take second place you think you'll loose money? It will be not the case because we can promote you MFC profile as your official website with your affiliate ID. So if the porn tube take first place you'll make more money...

I am right no ? Sound interesting ?

I can't take anything seriously with the avatar. :haha:

lol ok i am going to change it... but i want a real answer to my question :) I need to understand the camgirl point of view :)
Most girls in this community and industry HATE porn/tube sites. You're not going to find much in the way of interest or information here.

Of course they want their own site or their cam site to be the #1 or 2 result. Hence the "cut out the middle man" comment. Most people in your position are seen as only trying to make a buck off of others' backs.

Now with a new real avatar :)

Ok so cam girl hate porntube, so how i can make her love them (just my tube is sufficient :) ) ?
My main goal is to have nice videos from cam girl on my tube and to send you a maximum of visitors to your site (with our aff ID or not) or MFC (With your aff ID)
If only one cam girl is interested to do the test with me it will be very cool! and she can leave a resume of the experience here after.

People who go looking for free porn clips are seeking something completely different than people who go looking for camgirls to purchase from. So routing tube site traffic to a cam site is not exactly the most efficient way to gather the clientele we are looking for. That's probably going to be your main issue in making your service worthwhile to cam performers.

Not only what Mollie_ said, but many camgirls are looking for ways to take their videos down from porntubes for privacy reasons and also because porntubes compete with the content camgirls are trying to sell.

I want to shamelessly plug DMCA services but at the same time don't.......

to OP: You offering any other perks; CPM, real estate for publishers, ect? Pirating is a huge issues for camgirls, amateur porn producers, ect. so you're going to get a lot of resistance. I know a grip of girls selling clips that use tube sites for watermarked teaser clips though. Don't know many camgirls that are using tube sites the same way.

Question you should be asking yourself is what makes your site a better solution than a tube site that also offers a CPM? (assuming you don't)

Thanks for all your answers :)

I offer a CPM program ! I will launch it soon... :) So cam girl can earn money if they send people to the tube with this CPM program, and also they will earn money by promoting MFC with their affiliate ID... they can publish short clip of 1 min to tease people to watch a full cam show from her.

I am senior SEO / Webmaster and Affiliate marketer, but i worked before in the dating industry... now i try to understand better the world of Cam and Tube site :) So sorry for my rookie asking...

I made a test with your name : Supermila.
The 1st page of Google is full with results from Hastags on social network or Tube site search page... if i can place your camgirl profile first, people will see a big link to you cam site and you'll earn money. That's not the case actually.

PS : Wecamstartup, i like your site, good information on it :)

I'm wondering why you think it would be better for a single cam profile to show up first when you Google a model name. If a girl's social media comes up first, it means she's already doing pretty well at advertising herself. You're offering salt water and we're already floating in the sea.

I agree with every post here- there is no need for a camgirl to have some guy set up a pornhun account to get us traffic. If a camgirl wants to promote herself on pornhub she should do it solo because pornhub does have a contest for amateur's and they will pay you. So there is no reason to go through a middle man when I can upload teasers myself and direct them to my own site/clip stores/cam site and have a chance for porn hub to pay me. Also most cam girls search extensively to get there content off of pornhub so I see no market for what you are offering.

Here is there amateur contest: http://www.pornhub.com/amateur I do know girls who do this and get paid so this would be a better option for someone in the industry.

Thanks for all your answers :)

So cam girl can earn money if they send people to the tube with this CPM program, and also they will earn money by promoting MFC with their affiliate ID.

By "MFC affiliate", are you talking their in-house "Bring A Friend" program, Crakrevenue's PPL or the actual mysterious MFC affiliate program that they don't even acknowledge as existing? If you know anything about who to actually contact over there about the affiliate program, should let me know.

Thanks again for your comments :)

This is the analyze i made for one of you :

I checked your username in Google : CharlotteLace
Your twitter profile is first and your promote cammodels (maybe your streamate WL) and also clip4sale. So your username is well protected :)
Third results is ManyVids, so you earn money also.
And second result is Xvideos with no link to you, or even a CamGirl page on their tube. so i understand your POV when you say "I hate Tube" :) and others tube site results have no link to a dedicated page on you or your websites.
But if my tube site promote your profile with link to your site in each video and a link to your Camgirl profile (design like a pornstar profile)
It will be more interesting to have my tube in second results than Xvideos, no ?

Another point : if someone search for "camgirl", "Camgirl videos", all related keywords... they will see a lot of my sites and you'll be pushed as a camgirl in my listing, so you can attract new visitors who don't know your username.

In the case of : JickyJuly
Your promotion is well done, social network rank first for your username. Effectively you don't need a tube like mine, i agree. But second result is MFC profile, if your profile on my tube is second, you'll earn referral earning from MFC... i agree you manage well your online visibility :)

It's nearly the same for you msbiancabaker, you're online visibility is well managed. Just to clarify, i run my own tube, i don't create user profile on pornhub.. Pornhub have effectively found a way to attract camgirl with their amateur contest. I understand that camgirl want to remove videos from Pornhub because they don't link back to you or even mention you... my goal is to rank first "Webcam Girls Videos" and to send you after the huge amount of traffic. Not to outrank your social network.

It would be more interesting for a camgirl who don't know how to promote herself, and also i think if you are already on this forum, you have some qualifications... but still no cam girl interested to make a test with us ?

@WebcamStartup : i talk about Crakrevenue's PPL :) Ask me in private if you need more details... :)

Please stop using my name and posting about your "findings" publicly, it is invasive and awkward.

Edit: also, explain to me why I would like to promote MFC through you when I can go directly to CrakRevenue and become an affiliate myself.

Really strange reaction from you... . I just reported what we find on Google when we search your username... it's not awkward.
And also i don't want you to promote MFC via myself but with Crakrevenue directly, i work with them.
So if your profile on my tube is first you'll earn money...

Ok so i have enough feedback from camgirl, i understand that you don't like tube site at all.
Again if one cam girl with small visibility want to be make a test with us, contact me !
I am here to find/discuss about a win/win situation, i am not here to steal your online visibility !

Really not even sure I understand what it is you are trying to do here. Are you talking about cam girls putting vids on your porntube and promoting us like that? Kinda sounds a bit bizzare to me. So many girls are constantly trying to stop their vids from being on sites like this since we don't get paid for people watching them. And if we have traffic sent from this then would it not just be freeloaders looking for a free live show? Meh I'm tired maybe I'm not getting it, either way I don't think you will get many girls going for this.

Okay, I got tired of your PMs, so I'm going to put it out here WHY many models won't like you. Let's follow this hypothetical.

1) Model decides to work with you.
2) She gives you a few videos to post to your tube site, in exchange for you linking her profile page (using your affiliate link, of course.)
3) Random internet guy sees videos, gets off a few times, decides to sign up for the site (again, using your link.)
4) You get money for the signup! Yay!
5) Random internet guy shows up to model's room. "What? You won't give me free videos? I have to pay now?? Fuck this, I'll just jack off for free on that tube site." Dude leaves.
6) Model gets no benefit from posting her free videos, you get all the benefit from tempting dudes with a sign-up. Who wins here?

While I don't give a shit about capping or having videos on tube sites, in my own experience, the only people who've come to my room from those sites just come in to tell me they found my shows for free. They usually decide to announce this right as I'm getting a Gold Show going. So, you know, informing my room that they can see everything they want for free instead of joining my $5 show. Potentially hurting my income. They don't then decide to pay for shows. They don't. It could work for other models, but if that was the norm you wouldn't have nearly so many girls issuing DMCAs left and right to take down their capped shows and videos. If they're getting off for free, there's little impetus to suddenly start paying. The people who view my shows for free aren't my demographic. My demographic is individuals who want to get off, and respect that porn is a luxury item that should be compensated for.

This is why a lot of models don't like people like you. You're profiting off our hard work for very little effort, and expecting us to be grateful? Get out of here with that. You're the only one who stands to benefit from this situation.

If I gave a shit, I'd just spam my own affiliate link everywhere, and enjoy that sign-up bonus myself.

Well that clears things up that's thanks :). Mega cheeky coming in and trying that. So basically you would benifit from it and not the models. Why would you ever think any of us would go for that?

There is no need to get excited CharlotteLace :) I am here to discuss... not to bother you.

Ok concerning your points:
2) it will be your aff code to MFC, because i work with CR, so if you make money with them i am happy
3) It will be your link.
4) You get money, not me but YOU.

I don't want full video scrapped from your webcam like others tube site, maybe custom short teasing with a big call to action under each video to your cam site like "Book a private show with her", i was here to find a win/win situation... and to adapt/structure of my tube site with your needs of promotion.

But forget about my asking, I do not feel really understood, i will work on others projects more lucrative for me.
And again sorry for those who feel bothered by my questions !

I actually have to come back to this thread after the fact (and an email) and actually vouch for the people behind this project. I ain't even going to name-drop, but lets just say your beloved MFC vouches for these people and is partnered with them. I'd vouch for these people any day (after hearing the namedrop). They know traffic, they know conversions, and everyone's going to hate my comment here (Amber, feel free to remove my rights to post on this thread again, like you did the last thread I called the community out on....)

You girls are really good at scaring off the industry and the entire B2B-side of things away from this forum. Not even gonna namedrop. I'm gonna let you girls all assume that it was just some random sleazy dirtbag SEO trying to take advantage of models so you all can feel good about another roast session of a "stupid idea".

Which I get it. I get it. Maybe all the industry pros should just stick to XBIZ where they're welcome, and maybe there should be zero interaction with the B2B side of the industry and the actual performers. I myself can see some major benefit in it. So does many other people. YNOT specifically recognizes this in the camming vertical and is actively trying to bridge the gap.

AmberCutie is in the perfect position to do this, but not if every time the B2B side makes a post it turns into a roast session. I WILL AGREE WITH YOU, that there are tons of stupid ventures that get proposed in this forum, and you girls are right probably close to 90% of the roast sessions, but this (believe it or not) wasn't one of them, and I can throw out specific examples as well.

Food for thought. It's no skin off my back. These people always seem to reach out to me via email anyway. Wouldn't believe how many B2B leads AC generates for me, many of which don't have accounts, and don't post for obvious reasons. If you don't see a value in that side of the community being here, just keep it up.

MFC would also vouch for the OP ~ Key takeaway. There's a reason the OP name-dropped MFC specifically ;)
You make no sense. I don't even see how the twitter image you posted relates to the OP. YNOT is more of a blog and news site, OP is a tube site who needs participation from models to use for promotion.

Apples and oranges.

I stand by my statements. If a person can't present their ideas clearly, thoroughly, and point out what specifically makes their proposal different, that's on them. If they have to name drop to convince you to work with them, then their ideas lack clarity and substance to stand on their own. And if they can't understand why we have a healthy skepticism, then they don't understand our side of the industry.
