Hi there! As you may or may not know, some people do not fall into the common man/woman genders.
(I'm not speaking about the physical appearance here, only the gender one feels deep inside themself)

Some have a gender in-between, kind of 50% man 50% woman.
Other have a neutral gender, or do not experience any kind of gender.
There are people whose gender changes regularly, or depending on their emotional state.
Etc, etc...

All these people are reffered to as non-binary. I am one myself (I have no feeling of gender, can't identify with being a man or a woman, so being referred to as sir, lady, or any kind of strongly gendered word disturbs me).

And so, I was struggling while trying to explain my soon-to-be job to friends : I won't be a camgirl nor a camboy. So, does a gender-neutral word exists for the camming business ? Something like camfolk, or camming performer ? Do you know of any term commonly used already ?

I pretty much exclusively use "cam model", because it's all-encompassing. I don't call myself "camgirl" very often, because what does my gender have do with my job? Nothing. Nothing at all.

I like to use the word "cammer" from time to time.

Cam model is the most common term used by the cam sites themselves to, so I think it's widely accepted and understood. :)
