THANK YOU! I know EXACTLY who you're talking about, and some of her rants angered me too. The one where she says models aren't REALLY selling you their dirty panties...that models buy 2 pairs of the same panties...keeps a pair for herself and uses "fake cum" for the other pair, which is sent out to you. Even if that IS true, it doesn't mean that ALL models do it...lol. Every time I've gone into her room, she's been dogging other models, telling guys she's the best on Streamate, and telling guys "I don't know why you guys tip those girls..."
As a model that used to be in the panty business and was a real deal panty girl, it pisses me off. I had great business and then 95% of my business was spooked all around the same time. They knew I was honest and their product quality approved and always positive. I’d wear those panties for almost 48hrs+ for high payers! (That’s a crazy thought for me but I did it!) All this fake panty scandal came out showing YouTube vids of how we were making fake panty products. It’s complete bs for real models like me. I only sell if personally asked. I do not even advertise anymore due to this issue.

It goes along with everything fake some are doing. If you’re faking it you’re killing me and others who are exhibitionists and enjoy doing this (while also earning a living) and the tips are beyond a bonus and yes of course welcomed. Room to room I watch and occasionally see fake. Then I follow and tip what I feel is genuine. As I was a voyeur before I became a model. ;)

Fake business drums up paranoia we cannot combat. From even buyers who know we are legit. Bc in the end who wants to be duped or made to look an idiot? No one!

That’s my frustrated 15 cents

You are right Nicole, lame was a really poor choice of words. I can easily see what it would hurt Lilly's feelings and for that I apologize. Lilly looked lovely in the pictures and there was nothing lame about them. We had a significant different expectations of what a lingerie picture set consists. I'll agree the fact that it was consolation prize makes my complaining look silly . I was also thinking of another contest which I won where I was disappointed in the video which I should have used as an example instead. The use of the word lame was hurtful and didn't add anything to the conversation, me bad.

To me a prize from contest should be special, since they generally end up costing the winning members a lot tokens. This implies the videos, picture sets, fan signs etc, should be of at least comparable length and quality to the content that you can purchase directly and preferably better . Generally they are sometimes they are not. If I do win these type of contest and the prize isn't up to my expectation. I don't enter future contests.

Which leads me to my dilemma. When I see these questions on ACF, I always add the words, "that cause me to spend less money on the model". I debate about sticking to the benign, "I find it annoying when models begging for tips constantly". (How many models think are you in this category?) Or being honest, knowing I am going piss off some models .
So I am struggling with how to provide this feedback. In Lilly's case I went to her room, verified that no the zipfile wasn't corrupt there were only 5 pictures. I thought about complaining and decided nothing good would come of it, so I dropped it. But when this thread came I thought, I think it is valuable for cam girls to know that some members expectations for contest prizes are high, and it is important to set expectations properly. Satisfaction

I actually tried this and was up front with model and even tipped a small amount and got booted as soon as she new is was a model. I just wish I could go in as my model self and be myself if that makes any sense

just a friendly reminder to check the dates on posts/threads before replying to them. the issue you are responding to in quite a few years old. I'm assuming it was an accident since it doesn't seem to be what you were responding to tho.

I do want to comment on your post though. Other watching models in a room are distracting to the model on screen and the members in the room. The majority of models who want to be known as a model while watching other girls are just looking for attention from members to poach, the respectful model pervs use a member account and keep it on the DL. You are entering a persons place of business, if you respect that business you'll keep a low profile and not be a distraction.

This. I enjoy watching models from my perv account on occasion, but I don't let the room know that I'm a girl. If it's a model I'm friends with, I might let her know that it's me with a private tip note, but models I'm not familiar with, I don't tell, because I don't know what their reaction will be.

Not directing this at you @angelicaskye2 since this is what you said you did, but in general I think you should only ever mention you’re a model in a private tip note. And be open to the fact that not all models like other models watching, even if you’re tipping.

Yeah I was discrete about it and I don't do it to steal customers or anything I just want to learn more and always grow as a model so I will take this advice and give it a try thank you

I think I may have said this last year or similar about other contests but...

...retweet every time someone votes for her in whatever the contest of the week is. I find retweets of the auto-posts about "I voted for suchnsuch at xyz contest!" is the spammiest of spam tactics.

I hate that as I new model l am banned from most models rooms I like to do a little research on what they are doing to give me ideas on how to engage my room a little more.

I was in this same boat until I learned firsthand WHY models block models from entering their rooms. My best advice is to watch them as a guest and don't interact with them at all during their show, but follow them on Twitter and DM if you want their feedback or have questions.

In my experience, I had my room open to model accounts and there were a handful of girls sending PMs to everyone tipping me trying to get them to go to their room instead of mine... I was lucky that these girls were stupid enough to message my two most loyal members that immediately sent me screenshots after the show to make sure I knew that was going on and who was doing it. Those girls are now on my shit list, needless to say. Especially the one who hit on MY HUSBAND in her PM. He got super uncomfortable and told me right away. I would be more upset if his username was known or listed as my husband, but it isn't and we try to keep it on the DL.

Still...not appropriate imho for a model to randomly send a PM that explicit to a member with a real photo on their profile.

Edit:
I can't blame them, though. He is pretty sexy *heart eyes*

I’ve just gone ahead and muted all the current contest associated hashtags because of this.

It's annoying when a model (who has practically no limitations) talks shit about other models just because she's willing to do stuff that many other models are not comfortable with.

Look, if you're willing to do a private show where the guy wants you to call yourself names like "nasty fat pig whore," cool beans. Do you, honey. But to run your mouth about how other models "aren't willing to do it because they aren't comfortable with themselves." Um...what? That makes absolutely no sense.....

You can be plenty comfortable with yourself and still not want to be called certain things. Nobody should have to put up with being called a slur if they don't want to.

Straight male models being homophobic. I just don't understand this. When I signed up to start camming I knew my audience would be predominantly gay males.

I watched a LOT of cam-models in my niche in order to try and 'learn'; I consistently saw models saying stuff like "I'm not fuckin' gay" or "No homo" etc...there were more overtly offensive comments but I'll leave that to your imagination...

I mean, that's fine if you won't do gay acts (nothing wrong with that, obv), but to shame gay men in your room when you're a solo male performer is just...silly to me. Like, what? Did you think you'd have 1,000+ women watching you jerk off? LOL

And then there's the part where homophobia is just not OK at all.

I'm super comfortable with myself lol and if my bf was into that I'd probably happily

I have a fetlife account for a sex work group and have had to explain to SOOOO many guys recently that if they want to be a cam model (or one guy wanted to be a male escort) girls won't be lining up to throw money at them. They're always so shocked haha.

It seems like these guys think more about what they find hot, than what the actual reality of the way that men and women interact in society. If a woman wants to see a dude's dick, often she just has to ask to see an acquaintance's and he'll gladly share. If we want to get laid, we just have to go to a bar, any bar, and before the night ends, there'll be a dude on us offering to buy us drinks and hoping we'll sleep with him in response. It's actually harder to find a male escort who sees female clients than it is to just hook up with a stranger from the neighborhood bar or a hookup site/app.

This is like how American women are turned on by British accents, but British women are turned OFF by American accents.

Life is so unfair. :(

Well, it doesn't help that we sound like lawnmowers compared to them.

Not the *most* annoying because I understand the value and why it's done, but periodically throughout the year models deciding that their regular/premium snapchat is not good enough for events so they sell an even more limited time premium snapchat for events...

Here comes the AVNs again.

I feel that the few times I've purchased the upgraded package that it never really garnered me anything extra. As the particular models I have followed that did this really didn't post to it, or it overlapped what the regular account already was providing. So mostly just duplicate stuff or nothing at all. I've had the same problem when joining a club and it promotes member only Twitter, Snapchat or blog, but rarely posts to them at all.

Basically the OnlyFans/Patreon model. It's a good extra source of revenue tho for models, even if it's mostly reposts for those members who have everything already.

I really dislike models using wrong hashtags. I mean, I can understand it because you're trying to get more people in your room, but to then get annoyed with people asking for it, or about that thing is just stupid and annoying. If you don't do or like or want to do/try anal, don't put that in your hashtags. If you don't know what a certain hashtag is for a specific kink or fetish, don't use it. Only use ones you know you do.

Just a little one that's annoying for me xD

I hate it when members use the wrong tags for us, too (on Streamate). Somebody tagged me "boots" and I have never done stuff with sexy boots. I took a funny photoshoot with winter boots, but that was way after the poorly chosen tag.

And then it still shows up in search when we've blocked the tag...or as I've recently discovered on my site sometimes you don't need things on your profile for the site to randomly tag you with something that you've never offered nor plan to.

But yeah if someone loud and clear has it on their profile or something like their Twitter, then yeah I don't see the point in disappointing themselves and others.

^I always wondered why some members will tag a model with 'pussy'. LOL. Um...yes, she has a pussy. And? Is this your way of saying you like her pussy? Then why not just tag her with 'nice pussy'? :p

I know that on somewhere like CB, it's a good tag to use so people know the model will either 1) Show (or be willing with tips) her pussy in public, or at the least 2) Show her pussy in a private.

I have had a private where the model doesn't want to show pussy so you can't even tell if she is inserting things (fingers, toy) or not. Which of course is not nice or fair. Luckily I am the kind of guy who can happily get off on seeing a womans face and/or top half, but the "not knowing if she really did insert" was what bothered me mostly. Maybe just a bad experience for me, it's only ever happened that one time.

It's like when a woman pretends to do anal (but only with a finger) and she makes it look as though she is inserting it, but then she just bends it and doesn't put it in. That is a good one but still annoying (a model who I am friendly (pervy lol) with told me of this secret (she doesn't ever pretend to do anal and so doesn't do it). But I was shocked haha

I'm talking about Streamate. And on Streamate, it's against the rules to show your pussy in public chat.

And I've all seen all kinds of tags that I thought were weird or just petty or bitter as fuck. Lol. "Pussy"..."bans people"..."expensive." LOL.

Oh then what the haha. Do people actually take notice of those kinds of tags and go to the rooms?
I guess they probably would to find the "lulz" in the situation. I'd rather be spending my time trying to find a room I actually like and want to enjoy, not be wasting it trolling or anything. To each there own though lol.

I once got tagged "expenisive."

I didn't block it. I don't believe anyone would have any reason to search expenisive. Had it on my profile for my own amusement. SM deleted the tag, and I miss it. :(
