I noticed just now that a model's room was taken over by hackers, and they are putting up a film loop and then redirecting anyone who enters the room to their third party website. How does someone report a real-time emergency like that to CB or MFC? Surely there is something more efficient than sending e-mail to support?

CB has the "REPORT ABUSE" link on the upper right corner of the video feed.

Correct, but that is a fatally flawed design. In the case I was trying to report the hackers took over the entire room. They put up Javascript on the screen directing you to their website, and the entire set of buttons and links on the video feed page were locked out.

They should be providing some kind of emergency contact link that is separate from the contact, or is a checkbox on the contact us form. They could direct those e-mails to a different alias that gets handled on a priority basis. They could restrict use of that special interface to just users who are authenticated on the site, to help minimize abuse.

Are you saying that one of the images was covering the "REPORT ABUSE" button? Yes, that is a problem with CB allowing malicious HTML code.

Yes, the room was running Javascript that disabled / greyed out the entire room including "REPORT ABUSE" and put up a dialog with a timer redirecting the user to a third party website.

Yes, CB appears to have a design flaw.

My additional suggestion was to give people a way to file emergency reports when a situation is time urgent.

No JavaScript code will (or should not) work on Chaturbate for these exact reasons but what I have seen some rooms do (or have done) is overlay the entire page with a background colour with a very low transparency so it looks "normal", set it to have a pointer event so it can not easily be selected, then add a z-index so it is on top of everything, meaning you can't click stuff underneath and then they also have some big advert advertising a scam website.

In this instance all you need to do is add "m." to the chaturbate url so the room will load in mobile, this will automatically disable any code and you can proceed with reporting

Edit
Although now I am trying with the m.chaturbate it isn't working, but it definitely did before because I had to do it to help some colombians who usually had 500+ in their room but due to this they had only 30 people.

Another method for if the "m.chaturbate" doesn't work, use your smart phone and it should automatically load on the mobile version.

Well it is a great idea in any case. Hopefully they eventually fix the bug in display of the mobile site. I am bookmarking your post for future reference.

Yes, that's the what the Russian scammers were doing a year ago when they were creating new "Exhibitionist" accounts faster than CB could delete them and making everything in the room a link to their scam sites. At one point I counted 28 new scam accounts in one hour!

What happened to those scammers? I haven't seen one in months and some of the porn they were running wasn't all that bad.
