I was just talking with a friend of me who is a cam model and she talked to me about some users and I was really questioning.... Are people that rich??
There are many users who have just joined for like 3 months and they already are in the Royal/Legend league level.

Doing just quick maths, knowing that 1 token spent gives you 5exp and that you need like more than 4 millions exp to reach these levels, you need to spend 800 000 tokens (800 000 x 5exp = 4 000 000 exp) to get here, and knowing that the biggest tokens package is 62 000 tokens for 5000$, you need at LEAST 12 x that package of tokens to reach the 4 million exp so... 12 x 5000$ = 60 000$!!!! JESUS CHRIST!!! who would spend 60 000$ in 3 months??? thats 20k per months lollll These people spend more than my annual income in only 3 months WTF!! I recently saw someone at level 100 and joined in less than 6 months... thats almost 80k spent in 6 months JESUS!! lol

My friend think they are all rich and millionaires but I doubt.... I'm sure they are hell down indebted with tons of credit card full loaded lol What you guys think about that?

I used to play a "Free to play/Pay to win" game. Clans would build upgrades (I.E. pay $$$ for gifs) and once a month there was a Battle Royale. The top clans required a $10k spend per event... some players were spending >$30k per event.

A year or so ago I read an interview with the owner of one of the clips sites. In the previous year their top customer spent $1.4M (yes, million dollars) on clips.

So yes, the whales are out there.

Could be both.
You have no way of knowing if a member is Elon Musk or Someone who just got a high limit cc. It's not something exclusive to cams. like @Slapstick said there are people that spend tens and hundreds of thousands of dollars on free to play games.

As for what I think about it... I dont, someone else's finances are none of my business.

There are wealthy members on Stripchat and other sites, of course. If your income and net worth is high enough, spending $5K, $10K, $20K a month doesn't seem unreasonable. No idea what percent of members are at those mega-spend levels but you can be sure, there are celebs, sports heroes, big business owners, all sorts of people with money, on cam sites.

There's a model I visit sometimes who has a whale who has been giving her anywhere from 60,000 to 75,000 tokens per month, and it's been going like that steady for 8 or 9 months. That isn't even all that rare. There are definitely bigger spenders than him.

Yeah there are those sad cases of the guy who blows his entire retirement on cam models, and many "average Joes" going crazy on credit card, but that's no different than anything else in life. Look at people who gamble in Vegas, it's everyone to from small time folks to roll-out-the-red carpet big spenders.

Yes some people are that rich. Some people also get a bit nuts when they first join cam sites and max out cc, drain savings etc.

Wtf 6 days? That means he spent like 70k in a week.

I’m pretty sure there are tons of money laundering. You spend many thousands of dollars via crypto to buy tokens, you then tip a very high amount to a « model » which is only a mule, and then the « model » receive the Money in their bank account which is then legal. They will lose some money because they pay only 0.05cent per tokens but its better than nothing…

I remain very skeptical about users who rocket through the various levels in a matter of weeks or even days. There are wealthy addicts, but I think the vast majority are middle or lower income users who blow through retirement accounts, biweekly paychecks or both. And with hacking becoming more prevalent, I think fraud is also playing a role.

Totally agree. I would be very curious to see the annual incomes of these high level in not much times. I can spend sooo much and be max level in few weeks if I want to I’ll be broke with tons of dept loll

About three years ago a model on CB received 500,000 tokens but I can't seem to recall if it was a single tip or drizzled over the evening. I was like yass girl! Teach me your ways!

I may have seen that.... IIRC it was around Christmas 2020, a guy sent the model a 100,000-token tip. She started crying and shaking in disbelief, and he followed up with a second, and several more. I cannot remember the room name off the top of my head (nor would it probably be appropriate to name it), it was not one I became a regular in, but clearly remember those big tips because she was so stunned by them.
And of course, extremely happy for the model too

sites have departments (or maybe a few on staff) to manage these accounts by verifying/approving larger transactions that normally would be flagged as fraudulent by payment processors and usually their bank/cc will block. you cannot easily spend thousands on pornsites due it being already flagged as high-risk transactions. these big spender member accounts cannot be handled by normal tier 1 support if they have payment problems/refunds.

Edit to add: any form of entertainment is going to attract VERY big spenders. I recall the first time I ever visited Vegas and saw a guy who would have spent millions over a weekend. He had a busload of aides with him, managing everything behind the scenes so he didn't have to ask for anything, it was just there by his elbow before he even knew he wanted/needed it. He tipped the croupier on one table several hundred thousand dollars worth of chips when he moved on.
