Banhammered

Hey everyone,

I’m hoping someone here can help or has seen something like this before — maybe @punker barbie or anyone with experience dealing with CB issues.

Long story short: I’m currently ineligible to broadcast on Chaturbate, and I honestly don’t believe I’ve done anything wrong.

Here’s what happened in simple terms:

I used to work for a studio on an account called @Pazrapacki (one “i”). When I left, I was told my ID and verification would be removed from that account. I had no control over it since it was a studio account, so I trusted them.

Turns out… they never removed my ID.

They kept using that account with other models, and now that account was banned, maybe even on purpose to get me banned(?). Because my ID was still attached (without my knowledge), my new personal account @Pazrapackii (two “i’s”) has now been flagged and I’ve been made ineligible to broadcast. The Studio has a history or targeting models who leave, they engage is targeted harassment and down votes.

So basically I’m being punished for:

  • a studio’s failure to remove my ID
  • activity on an account I no longer had access to
  • decisions I had zero control over
This is my income, and it’s been cut off overnight.

Has anyone dealt with something like this?
Any advice on appeals, or how to actually get CB to properly review this?

Appreciate any help — I’m pretty stuck right now.

I have emailed Chaturbate, sending them a detailed memo and even tried on ticket support but I have had no replies yet, and I am still ineligible to broadcast even though my ID is approved and the account is green.

I am so confused and helpless.

Account is Pazrapackii

I’d be interested to hear what @AmberCutie, @m3lissa, or @punker barbie think about this, because it seems more complex than a straightforward ban or an “ineligible account” situation.

Pazrapackii was banned due to actions that took place on a Studio account she no longer worked for. The ID was still attached to that Studio account, despite being told it would be removed. When the Studio account was banned, that ban carried over and made her new, independent account ineligible.

Later, the Studio apparently removed(?) her ID and instead registered the model who actually uses that Studio account as the main model. As a result, the Studio account and the new model’s account were verified and had their ban removed, while the original broadcaster who did not commit the violations herself has remained ineligible to broadcast on Pazrapackkii independent account.

This raises two concerns: first, that the wrong person is effectively carrying the consequences of the Studio’s actions; and second, that it’s not impossible this was done deliberately by the Studio to protect their own interests at her expense.

To be honest, I'm not completely clear on how studio accounts work. Just from what I've read in the forum, it'd seem that these kinds of situations, where the ID of a model remains linked to a studio account, are fairly common and many describe abuse coming from the studio's end, either intentional or by negligence. Since most people don't come back to post after their case resolution, it is hard to say what happens with the majority of those cases, but at least some models get a positive outcome.

Seems that you're not banned, both accounts (with the single and double 'i') are accessible, so I guess that is a good thing at least. You can look for the older related posts yourself, but it seems that these kinds of things tend to take longer than usual to resolve, taking weeks rather than days.

Hope your answer comes soon and that you get your account back. From what you say, sounds like it would have to be that way, but as you must know, I carry no weight on that decision.
