I don't think a camsite would necessarily be the best place to find an online sex partner, I think you would have more luck in other places. Bear in mind though, there is a reason why camgirls are so popular and people pay us good money for sex shows. As Jicky said, I would not believe that old line. I have said that so many times, I have even claimed to just come on cam certain times "just for fun" or as a hobby. And sure, I do come on to see friends and hang out, but my primary motive is pretty much always financial. But no one wants to hear about my financial motivations, they want to think I'm on because I'm horny. Chaturbate may "advertise" itself that way, but it most certainly is a camsite, not a chat site. That's like focusing on the fact that Myfreecams has the word "free" in it. These camsites did not simply develop a way to make money from the site, they were developed to make money.
The appeal of camsites is that you believe they are just regular people coming on cam for a bit of online fun, this "appeal", is no more real than the sex you see in porn films, or a romance between actors. How many times do you see a porn film advertised "girl doing her job has sex with men doing their job"? Nope, you see "horny slut gets pounded by 2 cocks". The only "job" mentioned, will be a blowjob. Unfortunately, on MFC this will have a negative affect on you as your camscore drops when you're online but not making tokens. If it's just a hobby that you sometimes make money off of, that's fine. But if you count on having a consistent flow of traffic to your room to make a daily token/paycheck amount, you'll probably want to find a way to encourage tokens while you're on cam.

Chaturbate has no penalty for just sitting around doing nothing, however. So there's that.
