Ah, okay. I think I just have the misconception that guys can sign up for a fan club, get access to all the model's content, and then cancel after a day. I have no personal experience with them soo I dunno. They just make me uncomfortable.

Personally I would never give someone access to all of my current and future products for 5 bucks a month in my pocket. That's what, 100 tokens? Just one of my videos costs more than that. I'm probably missing something here though. And I don't mean that sarcastically, I mean I really just don't get it.

Well thats the thing Rose. When i first initiated it the price was 100 tokens. But only a few vids up that were old. So it was fine. But just this month alone ive uploaded 8 new vids. And plan to do a photo set for each video. Hes locked in it seems at the 100 token price. Obviously much less than what a single video i have is. Let alone 8 new vids too.
Guys can buy into a club and cancel it the next day after getting everything. But they dont get their money back. Thats paid already. But it stops them from getting billed next month for it.
Luna i understand your point about it being fair to the member. I just figure sometimes prices go up. On all sorts of things. What my price was over 6 months ago is not the price now. So he should be paying more. If he doesnt want to then he could just not do so. Its his choice. Magazine subscriptions are a persons choice too. Heres the price, buy it or not. I agree the point is so he gets new content, but it shouldnt be he gets new content for the same price from over 6 months ago.

CB is not very forthcoming with telling you that the price the member pays into for being a fan is locked in forever. When i changed it, and marked it up there was no where saying despite me doing that previous members would never get notified it was changed, or upped their price. I dont think its right at all. Like i said they should get a notification to opt in again, or opt out. They never notified me once i started one it was permanent for them no matter what i did.

I understand why the fan club price does not go up after they signed up for it for a lower price. Since it requires a credit card and not tokens it wouldn't be fair for someone that is on a limited income to have to pay more. The most you can charge is like $30. I actually lower it to 50 tokens a month for those that are regulars, tip regularly, but want to be a fan club member.

I did raise it to $30 a month to make it less appealing for other people. I had a ton of people sign up for 90 tokens a month, get the new videos, for 'free' then never tip, but always watch the shows (every day).

If you want to raise the price for everyone, you might try to cancel the fan club, then bring it back with a higher price. That might work. I would try, but I am worried I will mess everything up.

With the website, it does say you are allowed to advertise your own website as long as you say you won't accept payment through that only and not through Chaturbate. Another model - who I have reported handfuls of times WITH screenshots, STILL advertises her website in her topic. She continues to do it and never gets in trouble. Why isn't she being banned like I was? How was that fair? I think at least she should be suspended if she is going to continue to break that rule if she has been told.

I am not trying to be mean, I just don't see how I work for 6 hours a day 6 days a week (often times more than that) and can hardly be counted as popular and still be punished, yet models that work for a couple hours a week (and obviously earn more) are allowed to advertise. Do I just not make enough money?

In their TOS now it states you can advertise your own personal profiles, homepages, or wishlists. (Ex Amazon, twitter.) But you can not advertise any commercial sites (Ex. MFC) that has live webcam streams. If your personal site does live broadcasts then you can't advertise them on CB. It also states we can contact members personally outside of site, but we can't do so to receive payments, or do outside shows. (Ex. Skype) I find this odd as girls have been banned over just tumblr being in their profile. One for twitter alone. That's not against their TOS. And Jessi as long as your site doesn't offer live streams then it should be allowed. It no where states you can't advertise your own website that takes payments. Though maybe stating here's my site, it's this many tokens to join may appease them better? It's worth an ask to Shirley for sure. And since I have seen girls offer membership to their own websites as prizes I don't see how you would not be able to have it listed just as they do. Why are some allowed whatever, and some banned with no response to the same things. Like i stated before pornstars seem to get away with anything they do. But other performers do as well.
Again me seeing a full on BSDM show in public with no repercussions. The performers telling me they had an Admin tell them they we're fine. Despite the TOS saying "Illegal or unsafe activity of any kind, violence, blood, torture, pain, erotic asphyxiation, or any actions associated with bringing harm to you, in any way, is prohibited." Well they we're clearly breaking the TOS again and again. No warning, suspension, or ban has come their way. I seen them again the other night doing the same thing.
I dont think it has to do with money honestly. How much you make vs. them. I just dont see them as that type of company really. I think they are new and overwhelmed with the influx of people on the site. They can't police everyone. But what they can do is look at reports and stick to their own rules and TOS. That much at least. Their TOS has changed quiet a few times since even i started last year, and maybe the new people aren't up to date on them? Just a thought.

It also says basically no split camming now which is odd as they used to full out say this was soooo okay to do lol.

They also state they will do DMCA notices so any girls who needs one can now contact them to do so. So that's good news. Though with support being terrible who knows when they would ever get to them.

Also they say you retain your ownership over anything on the site you do (Ex. Pics, vids) but they have the right to do whatever they choose with what you do put there. It'd be nice if they let us opt out of such things like other places do. Not every girl wants to be splattered everywhere, some don't care though. Let us choose !!

They've said that you cannot have a website in your bio is it has a payment option. I know Chillwavecpl took off the vuy access button on their site because they only had people pay in tokens for access. They haven't updated the ToS to say that, but I remember a tweet saying they were going through profiles and banning people with join sites...

That's just so unprofessional. If you expect your employees to follow you on a social media to stay up to date on your new rules, you should let them know. Their twitter name is not advertised on their site at all. It would be much more efficient to update their terms and e-mail employees about new rules.

If someone joins Chaturbate next month and they still haven't updated that then their warning tweet will be buried and the new person won't know.

They just pulled this again with something else.
They have a new rule where you can't do public shows (like ones not in the privacy of your own home, so no being in coffee shops or anything) and they only tweeted about it. How are people supposed to know if they only put it on their twitter?

That's a lawsuit waiting to happen. A twitter or blog update is not a TOS binding contract we have with the site. We didnt agree to that ever, or sign anything saying anything they update there we have to abide by.

If they expect to win a court case by saying "Well we tweeted they couldnt do this, we banned them for doing it, so therefore we don't have to pay them," they would be laughed at by a judge.

I think girls should be allowed to have their personal pay sites listed WITH the buy button on it, but should also have to be payable by tokens if a member chooses. That way girls could give out tours to guys as prizes, or limited access to certain parts, or a month free, etc. It doesn't hurt CB in any way. Not allowing them is ridiculous.

So are public shows. I think as long as no one else appears on your cam you should be able to do them if you want to. Go ahead and head to the middle of the woods, i dont care, it makes CB money. I get the risk of people popping up, well that's the models risk and she will be banned, but saying no where but your own house... nope.

Most of these issues mind you don't even pertain to me, but i think they are unfair and unprofessional. I dont do public outdoor shows, i dont do BDSM, i dont do my own pay site, but for girls who do this can be their bread and butter and i get that. CB doesnt seem to.

I don't think they're withholding money for bans that aren't due to invalid IDs. I still think they should be sued; there's got to be SOME grounds for a legitimate case with how they treat us. Oh, wait... We basically signed away all our rights in their contract. WTF?

Although honestly, they shouldn't let you earn tokens until your ID is approved. It just seems like they're hoping people use invalid IDs so they don't have to pay out.

They don't let you take tokens until you are ID approved. Their issue is girls IDs expiring, and them not updating them on the site.
And they ban or suspend them, and withhold tokens then.
Girls who are banned are reporting they aren't getting paid as well. With them not responding to why they are banned, that means they are just keeping their money.
If they ban a girl cause they tweeted some new rule, and keep the girls money, the girl has every right to sue, and she will win too.

The thing is that a LOT of cam sites say they can terminate you with little to no cause how they deem fit. I get why they do this, it is to prevent a model from doing something that is illegal that happens to not have been included in the TOS or various other reasons.

The foregoing list is non-exclusive, and we may, at any time, prohibit any activity that we determine, in our sole and absolute discretion, to be inappropriate. We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to all or part of the Service at any time, with or without notice, for engaging in any inappropriate activity.

There are also sites that say that they can keep your funds if you did not follow their TOS, meaning you forfeit your funds (both member and model) if you cannot follow TOS. I am not sure if Chaturbate would do that, but their rule of unverifying an account due to an expired license is a bit silly.

ON that note, if the TOS has not been updated with the new rules, they are better off NOT telling the model why they were banned. In this instance, it would be a lot like working for an AT WILL EMPLOYER. In Texas, you can be fired for no reason at all. No notice has to be given as to why you were terminated. It is better to fire an employee and not give reason than to fire an employee and the employee have a reason to sue the employer.

I do believe they should update the TOS and have an email sent to every person that has signed up on the website so the performers/members have no reason to say they weren't aware of changes to the rules. More so, I think they should have a pop up on the broadcaster screen that has the updated rules that you need to tick to show you have at least skimmed through. This would be a good thing for both the broadcasters and Chaturbate. No one cam claim they had no idea if they were forced to read the new changes.

Now, they have said that any actual PUBLIC shows are against the rules. Apparently, one of the models they had previously mentioned was banned for a day (or two) because she was broadcasting from work and one of her coworker's legs had appeared on screen. She was warned, then banned for this (prior to advertising this as a 'new' rules).

There can be no minors, children, babies or unauthorized persons on camera or in the same room.

This is a rule that is on MFC as well, you cannot have other people appear on cam unless they have been verified. Shirley has said:

Public locations like Coffee Shops, Stores, Library...etc..

[sic]are not allowed on Chaturbate any more.

I get this rule adjustment as well, though they have no actually included this amendment in the TOS (that I have seen).

Apparently another model had sat down at a coffee shop (or some other location) where children were present behind her. This could get Chaturbate in trouble and they are just covering their asses. I also get why it might be bothersome for people to know that they were on an adult website being broadcasted to a bunch of people jerking off, though highly unlikely that they would even know.

I want to add another thing to this:
I saw two different models from Texas. They were on at different times, in different locations - one in a pool hall, one in a moving car. I knew where both of the models were, down to name of pool hall and name of highway. I am not someone that has traveled very far in Texas, nor am I some sort of psychopath (a weirdo maybe, but not crazy), but that was enough scenery for me to figure out where two people were. Imagine some weirdo having this kind of info and posting in the room. This was even a rule that was added to their TOS. You are not allowed to post user's private information on Chaturbate.

I am not aware of what warranted this, other than a tweet someone posted that included someone's arrest record and their full name. I do, however, agree that people should be banned for violating these terms, I just find that their lack of support on Chaturbate to be a bit of an issue when policing this violation.

I e-mailed support yet again yesterday about my paycheck and my banning. They never replied to my first e-mail weeks ago, and now they side stepped both my questions.

I asked why I had been banned a few weeks ago. They replied that my account should be working and to e-mail them with more details if I still couldn't get it.

I also asked if the checks from the February 1st-15th period were sent out yet. They replied that checks for this past period were mailed. Does that mean I can assume that my check for the Feb 1st-15th period was mailed? Because it's almost a month after the end of the period and it's still not here.

I'm seriously going to keep e-mailing them until they answer me. You're already replying to me, that's good. That's progress. But is it really that much more effort to answer the question I asked?

I just wanted to mention that my ID expired in the middle of a pay period, I had already made $600+ and I still got my check even though I STILL don't have my new ID. This might be because I have my friend verified on my account, but still, they didn't hold my money. I emailed and asked why it is that they wont allow me to broadcast even though I had a valid ID and it's still me, and Shirley said this:

Chaturbate is based in Orange County, California (USA) and at the advice of our legal team they require every person who can accept tokens must have valid ID. We also accept Passports.

So that makes some sense. At least I can still broadcast and sell things everywhere else. Just not the place where I make the most money. >.>

As far as DMCA removal requests go...I tried with CB for months and they never got back to me. I had to use my own methods to remove images.

Additionally, has anyone received their 1099? I saw on CBs twitter that multiple models have asked and Shirley keeps saying they were mailed 1/30? I have not gotten one either. Has anyone?

Good question!
I used the couple 100 I made on there (not much honestly) to just tip other girls when I realized I was not interested in using there site. However, my girlfriend did not ever receive a 1099.

I haven't gotten mine. At all. What-so-ever. Yay. -.-

Yep, legally before February which is why I think they keep saying they sent them Jan 30th...there's just no way.

I will be calling the IRS this week.

Hey girls.First of all sorry for my bad english.I have a question:Everyone was received the last payment? I didnt received it and nobody respond at emails. :( Thank you.

It would help us answer if you gave a bit more info.

What pay period are you talking about? What method of payment do you have set up?

I have yet to receive my check by regular mail for the Feb1st-15th period and was basically told by support to stfu and wait for it, obviously in nicer words.

And yeah, support pretty much ignores you. I've been e-mailing them daily since I was banned a few weeks ago simply asking why and what I had to change to prevent it from happening again. They've refused to answer, saying my account should be functioning properly now. No shit! I told I needed to know why it wasn't functioning properly a few weeks ago! *sigh* Don't hold your breath for a reply.

Oh yes i forgot to say that... From Feb 16th - 28th with payoneer.I send an email at Shirley and she told me just this:

As stated in our terms (http://chaturbate.com/terms/) we guarantee payments to be *sent* by the seventh day after the pay period has ended. In this case that is 3/7/2013 and payments are still being made. Chaturbate is in Orange, County California on Pacific Standard Time.

In my country its sunday 10 march, already and...nothing changed in my payoneer account.Maybe because its still weekend?

Thanks for the answers, girls.I send emails to shirley and support again.I hope that somebody will really respond me...not just a f...g usual email from a "robot".

Chaturbate's connectivity issues are preventing me from making them and myself any money. The thing that sucks is that I liked that site and now this. I'm not even going to bother emailing them as I know it will most likely be an automated response.

Chaturbate please get your act together or give us some sort of answer here on the acf forums. It only takes a moment to give a response here about the lack of connectivity. Just tell us your servers are being replaced or you're having issues and are at least trying to fix them. An answer I don't want to hear is still better than no answer. For heaven's sake! Hiding from the models who earn a profit for your site isn't going to help your case.

When I read that I thought they just wanted a simple "I have NOT received it" answer. If I'm wrong though, does payoneer have an online login where you can see your transaction history? I'd take a screen shot and send it to them.

Edit: after several days of asking them, I finally got an answer. Apparently we're not allowed to post any urls. Wtf??? THAT'S why I was banned? For posting my twitter account? They never say in their terms that you can't post ANY urls; they even say you ARE allowed to promote additional contact.

Fucking Christ Chaturbate, instead of banning me and then refusing to tell me what I did for weeks, WRITE IT IN THE TERMS THAT I AGREED TO. How the hell can it be legal for them to do this to us?

Okay, am I dumb? I just went on CB for the first time, and could NOT see any of the dudes chatting. All I saw were my topic changes and what I said. My regular said that there were dudes chatting and he sent two messages. WTF? I don't even know what to look for to start fixing it. Fortunately no one tipped, I would have felt terrible.

That happens to me sometimes too. You can refresh the page (and lose half your viewers because they're impatient bastards) or open a new browser and watch yourself as a guest. Make sure it's a different browser though. If you are on Internet explorer and you open another tab, Chaturbate will kick you offline. Use chrome, safari, Firefox, etc.
